Sitting upon his throne Merrick sat and looked down on the peasant before him begging for help for his family and the village. 
“I’m deeply sorry that the Collins family has destroyed your village this way but there’s nothing I can do for you” the raven haired man says standing now seemingly towering over the man.
“The Collins family was always making sure their people were cared for! The trouble here started when you seized the throne!” the man shouted and with a signal the man was seized by soldiers and began thrashing while shouting. “Long live King Kent!” Which caused Merrick to turn on the man only to say nothing and with a wave of his hand the man was brought to his knees and executed. Leaving a streak of blood across the floor. Merrick pondered what had happened to his old friend who had vanished nearly 20 years ago.

Meanwhile…….
	In the small village of Balerno Damien knelt next to his father who was lying on a bed clearly at the last moments of his life.
“Damien Call your siblings its nearly time and I have a story for you all.” He said receiving a nod from Damien who stood and walked the door shouting for his siblings to come inside. Shortly after they had all gathered in his fathers room and awaited his words.

“Please remember children That what I tell you is not to be repeated to anyone but those you truly trust. Damien, Saturnalia, Theon, Lieze, Colt. Clearly I’m dying and with that death comes a secret that your mother and I kept from you all for your own safety. Many times we wanted to tell you but we agreed that you were far to young or it wasn’t the right time. 20 years ago as you know King Merrick seized control from then king and queen Kent and Maria Collins. Both are now believed to be dead. But the truth is They lived. And they had five amazing children and in fact…” Their father stopped a coughed into his hand which when he pulled away to continue was slick with blood. “You are those five children, your mother and I, no,  our family our last name isn’t Smith. Its Collins.” Their father said looking to his five children and laying his head back down onto the pillow.

“Father are you serious? We’re royal?” was all Damien could say

“Yes my son you are all of you are and you need to help your people now more than ever.” Their father said as he died his last breath whispering from his lungs.
