Name (The nation must either exist, or an explanation for why it exists): The United Land of the Brazilian Empire (Brazil, Argentina, Peru)History (At very, absolute least two paragraphs, exceptions can be made if little history was changed and the nation is well-known): Once Ww2 started the Brazilians had an idea, while the other countries where fighting off in the tiny land of Europe we could go and conquer the 2 other largest countries in South America. The people of Brazil instituted a draft for the military stating that if you draft dodge you will be shot, dead. With this there armies grew by a lot before the time the UEAS (USA at the time) started going to war with Japan. Once this happened the invasion begun.The Brazilian army went through the country of Argentina with relative ease. By capturing the land around the capital and saying that they will cleanse the city of Buenos Aires. Argentina said that they would fight to the very last man and that is what they did. Within 2 weeks Argentina was annexed by Brazil. After this they took the last alive members of the Argentine army and they invaded Peru. Once again the land around the capital was taken with ease but this time the capital fought back. The fight went on for 1 month and it ended with a complete invasion of Lima. This invasion lasted a total of 2 weeks and it ended with about 10% of the Brazilian army dead. Imperial Relations
The UEAS has congratulated Churchill on his victory, and thanked him for his kind remarks about the UEAS during WWII. They are, however, saddened by the fact that he thinks Germany is being oppressed, and have invited him and anyone else he wishes to send with or in place of himself to Germany on an unguided tour so as to allow him to see what life in Germany is like up close and without any interference from the UEAS. Obviously, he would be accompanies by a group of UEAS soldiers, but they would be transferred under his control for the entire visit and take no orders from the UEAS.

De Vidan Relations
The UEAS has happily accepted the new scientists into the program, and have told them to work on designing the ICBM. They have also asked for a trade route, the UEAS would give Espacio De Vida raw materials in exchange for food. A gift has been sent in the form of designs for advanced German-designed aircraft in the hopes that they will have better relations with the UEAS than Japan.

The UEAS has, however, condemned their alliance with the NUJ. While they say it will not affect their relationship, they do say they hope that the alliance is cancelled as soon as it would be appropriate.

NUJ Relations
In response to the NUJ's propaganda newspapers and obvious demonizing twisting of words, the UEAS has moved the secondary Atlantic Fleet to the Pacific, to meet up with Pacific Naval Command and the refitted USS Enterprise. The Enterprise had been so extensively rebuilt that it was practically a whole new ship, it now had more AA turrets and a wider, elongated hull. Aircraft storage facilities had been upgraded to accommodate ten more aircraft, bringing the total up to one hundred. It also had bays on both sides to hold either seaplanes or landing craft (6 of either, three on each side). It now had a full complement of German-designed fighter and bomber jets, along with three Komet Rocketplanes, designed to quickly scout an area and report back without taking any fire by virtue of its speed.

This new fleet laid anchor in and around Pearl Harbor, returning to the place where America entered WWII. This time, however, if anyone attacked, they would be ready for them. With radar now in place, the skies and seas were scanned 24/7 for incoming craft, and land-based artillery stood waiting for the order to open fire if anything was spotted. Along with this defensive display, the UEAS also issued a statement to the NUJ.

"Do not attack us, we will defend ourselves to the last man."

It was more than a simple warning, it was meant to break down the propaganda machine by sounding like the UEAS was wary of the NUJ instead of thinking it a tiny fly. While the NUJ might print "UEAS Grovels before us!", it would still be beneficial. Too much confidence can be the downfall of a regime, the UEAS knew this already, but did the NUJ?

Soviet Relations
The UEAS has accepted the Soviet alliance proposal with the following message:

"We are extremely happy that you have decided to put our history behind you, we gratefully accept your proposal and hope it brings lasting peace between our nations."

However, the UEAS has declined the World Alliance proposal, saying that due to complex relations with other nations it would not be the best choice. They have also stated that when relations warm up with the United Empire, they will agree to join the World Alliance.

FEP Relations

Construction
NASA has constructed three solid rocket boosters, a set of fins, a liquid fuel tank, and a liquid fuel engine. They have also begun to set up a directional antenna to communicate with their latest mission.

Mission 1
Name: Explorer 2
Explorer 2's launch vehicle will consist of two solid rocket boosters, a liquid fuel tank, a liquid fuel engine, and a set of fins. The payload will be an orbital satellite, carrying a colony of fruit flies, an Oxygen Tank, a Carbon Dioxide Vent, a Food and water dispenser, a Waste bag, and electrodes. It will also have a silver-zinc battery, a barometer, a relayed processor, and a tracking transmitter. Its mission will be to test whether or not living creatures can survive in space if given the proper supplies.

Mission 2
Name: Thor 01
Thor 01 will be a simple solid rocket booster carrying a set of weights simulating the weight of a nuclear warhead, it will be launched towards an isolated part of Antarctica to test intercontinental capabilities. It will be launched shortly after Explorer 2, and the UEAS has made it clear that any real ICBMs developed would not be used against civilian populations, and that this test is simply to determine if they have gotten everything correct.

Some have joked that "If they were going to attack someone with it, they would tell people they were launching a suborbital probe."

Hey! The Germans can vote in the exact same election as everyone else! They're fully-fledged states, not an occupied territory! America is only slightly expansionist!

Name: The Federation of European Powers (FEP)History:After WW2, European powers soon realised that large continent sized countries would dominate. The UE, USSR and UEAS where clear signs of that. Fearing that their countries would be eaten up by these super powers, many European countries began to form a new super federation. First was the main three, France, Spain and Italy. After that countries began to join periodically. Due to the large economic and military advantage of a Country this size, most rebellions in colonies where quenched. Despite this riots are still a common occurrence throughout the empire and political movements have been brought forward, many feel one day the colonies will slowly begin to be lost. Despite this, fear seems to keep the colonies in line, as they know that if they where not part of such a large empire, another country may place greedy eyes on their land. Leader : Emperor Louis Napoleon VI Space Involvement: NoOther :The Federation believes space travel is not as important as the other nations seem to place it, they have began to spend more money on military arsenals as well as improving conditions to colonies and homeland alike. Although they do feel they want to ally a country that has a space program. In the hopes of possibly joining the nation on the moon. France is considered the figure head of the Federation, Emperor Napoleon being the grand leader, with advisors from the many other countries.

A horde of so called "Nazi Gold" was uncovered by a group of British soldiers as they patrolled Germany. A nazi leader, Martin Bormann, was caught attempting to flee Germany by boat, with him were tonnes of the Nazi Gold. While not enough to cover the debt with the US, it certainly helped. With this money, Britain was able to sustain its Empire for longer, and unlike in our own universe did not grant independence for India. They did not have enough to cover their debts to the US, although they had been able to pay off a fair chunk of it. The British needed another miracle... And that's exactly what happened: The Americans annexed all of Germany.... In response, the British have dropped all debts to the US in protest to the "Anti-Democratic principles of a country that supposedly supports self determination" and "The particularly uncaring way the other European powers have been treated, despite the French and the USSR being the most important of the allied nations in the war effort and the US arguably having little effect on the overall outcome of the war" The British have been pushing for the suspension of the US from the UN, stating that they have violated what the UN stands for. US-UK relations are apparently in tatters, while the British seem to be strengthening ties with the French. Some Americans fear that the British will side with the USSR and convince the French to do the same, which would surround the German states on all sides and might result in nuclear weapons being placed in the British Caribbean. The British Empire has stated to the NUJ that their leaders are accused of being war criminals, and refuses to recognise their claim to Japan, though has not made action against them and seemingly won't do unless action is made against the British or their allies.The British Empire is known to hold nuclear weapons, and runs its own minor space program. The British Empire and their commonwealth (Most notably Australia and Canada, and excluding Ireland who left the Commonwealth in protest of the merger) are, as of 1948, in one political union, the United Empire of [All territories in alphabetical order]... Which is a nightmare for anyone to say. As a result, most have taken to referring to it simply as "The British Empire" or "The United Empire", the later of which is considered more politically correct but the former is still used out of habit by some, similar to how the UEAS is sometimes still referred to as AmericaThe first act of the UE parliament was to amend the acts of union into the acts of union 1948, which officially united the commonwealth and the Empire once more. The second act was to grant extensive devolution to all countries within it, giving each their own assembly/parliament and giving them an extensive range of powers, referred to in propaganda as being "The best of both worlds! Liberty and Empire!" This was intended to cull independence calls. Its third act was to allow all people from the UE to stand for the UE parliament... Making it one of the most liberal, democratic and equal countries in the world. India in particular is receiving a lot of focus in these polls, as it nearly received independence in 1947.
