The Iscandarian Leaders responsible are already being disposed of, as such with careful diplomacy the support of the merfolk or terrans could be gained, assuming of course the merfolk even want to take a side, so far the way LaXyand has portrayed them they seem very neutral . The support of the Nouvellans is not really that big of a deal, there not even out of the industrial era yet.
