I'm a weeaboo communist. Are you surprised?

EDIT: You probably are now, but I'm not going to tell you why you wouldn't have been like two years ago. You get to agonize over that yourself.

You know, maybe Duck should just have a gate system. He could go anywhere in his own space instantly, but Faust help him if he forgets to burn bridges. I think this makes more sense, seeing as how he did actually describe his magic FTL to me way back when. Basically, there are different magical dimensions, and the highest one would be used for intergalactic transport. The second highest would be used for long interstellar journeys, and the first for normal interstellar ones (if I remember right). I think that there could be gates that use the highest dimension for instant transport between systems, but they would be extremely expensive to build. Retconning this kind of thing would be easy, and it fixes a lot of balance problems.

As for letting Wilson come back, exactly what I said still stands. To vote, here's the thang:
http://strawpoll.me/3165893

Also, Duck, there's still people on that planet you're bombarding because of the decision I made on the evacuation. If you stop bombarding it, they'll still die though, so you'll pretty much have the same outcome. Plus, the Iscandarians are all corrupted and stuff, so they probably don't care anyway.

As for IC, I'm posting soon. By soon, I mean probably in a billion zillion years because midterms and grades and afdgrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrghg.
First of all, I'd like to say that the screenies that Wilson posted are 100% genuine images of a PM between me and him. Don't be thrown off by the fact that they are separate images, because they're situated just like that in the actual PM. That was a terrible, terrible choice, and I don't know nor do I want to know what I was thinking. That was so inexplicably wrong that there is no excusing what I did, and I fully accept that. It doesn't even end there. I thought that I could use the Draconians to prove Duck could roleplay, blindly ignoring the fact that their sole purpose was to piss him off. In short, I was manipulating Wilson.

You'll all want me gone now, so I'll let you order me away. I won't try to save face by resigning for some bullshit reason like "It's falling apart". Just do me a favor and please, please pick a better GM. You deserve it.

Sir, you need to calm down. Outbursts like that are against the rules. But aside from being a smartass, however true, honestly I'm not arguing. I'm informing you that you are playing favoritism and being a hypocrite. If the truth hurts you this badly, you need only tell me to leave. This is your roleplay, your OOC. If you do not like it when I tell you the truth, say the words and I'm gone.

I don't have any problem with you, you're following the rules perfectly. Wilson, however, wasn't.

FUCKING THIS.

YOU'RE ALL BREAKING THE RULES. JESUS. FUCKING. CHRIST. YOU PEOPLE REALLY FUCKING HATE EACH OTHER'S ASSES DON'T YOU? MAKE A GIANT PM IF YOU WANT TO SLAP EACH OTHER INT HE FACE WHILE MAKING HIGH-PITCHED NOISES, BUT KEEP IT THE FUCK OUT OF THE OOC.

Well, well, seems I've found a way to enter this NRP without having to toil much.Basically, I took part of an another nation sheet I did for a (apparently) dead rp. Please be kind :)

Accepted!

Also, Cale, sorry if my earlier posts seemed aggressive. I was kinda stressed out over unrelated things.

There is so many other reasons Wilson needs to be banned. For one he just openly admitted he created a faction purely to piss off a sole player, which is wrong and creates more OOC conflict and proves that he is not capable of forgetting the past. I am more then willing to drop the past, but he keeps on bring it up. He has constantly beat up on a sole player as well, and has tried to continue arguments after they were long since settled. It's like he relies off conflict to live or something.I will admit, I am far from perfect. I have several areas where I need drastic improvement, but Wilson acts likes he so much better then everyone else. His idea of "fair" is where he has a faction capable of butt-raping every single person in the RP. His idea of "restrictions" are ones that everyone else has to abide by but he has some form of bullshit technology that bypasses them. His idea of a "good story" is one where their is constant war between all player factions, despite their ideologies or policies. Is that really someone we want in this RP?

THIS.

Also, Cale Tucker, go read the rules for once. The last two were broken. They say "No emotional breakdowns in the OOC." and "NO HEATED ARGUMENTS IN THE OOC." The latter obviously isn't a bannable offense, as it usually has two offenders at once. If the argument is broken up or ends, then it;s all good. The first is far, far more serious. If someone has a breakdown, then who's to say they won't have another? Who's to say they won't have one in IC?

Combined, those rules are a bannable offense. Possibly not perma-bannable, but still bannable. Now, when someone implies that all the other roleplayers are "Doing it wrong" because they're not adhering to what that someone wants, THATS it. Perma-ban. Again, we can hold a vote right now if you want. See who wants Wilson back. I don't have any objection to that vote taking place, nobody will get punished for voting "yes".

In regards to how the Battle of New Condia is going:

This is getting fucking ridiculous. Duck, you keep pulling in more and more and more people, people who should think more of keeping their own fleets in tip-top shape rather than risk it all for someone they barely know, or not even be worth the losses. And Darkwolf is just alone. Honestly, I am about to bring in some kind of supership to just explode and blow the shit out of everything, so that the massive fucking fleets are GONE.

Jesus, this IS about to make me leave. It's like no one's learned nothing from the dozen reboots that have been made and shut down again.

Before, it was more or less important to take New Condia- it's the first step in the war. But instead of a goddamn fucking CONQUEST, a real MILITARY FUCKING CAMPAIGN
We jsut have these fucking STUPID-ASS MASSIVE FLEET BATTLES, WHERE EVERYTHING IS ABOUT WHO HAS MORE FUCKING SHIPS

If THIS is how ALL OF YOU plan to be doing this roleplay in terms of warfare, then I am fucking done. The Draconians were brought back originally to piss the shit out of Duck, but I pulled them back because Duck is somehow gaining thousands of ships to defend himself from himself and others, and he won't be able to pay back ANY of the nations completely because so much FUCKING SHIT has already been blown the fuck up.

Where the shit are those robot people? Maybe they can just blow the fuck out of the planet and be done with it.

We need some SERIOUS rules regarding communication, FTL, and movement speed. Insta-battles and insta-reinforcements and insta-joinfights is fucking retarded, but every time I say something you all just go fucking whiny because that means you can't do whatever the fuck you want. Valkians- they only ever warp from the edge of a starsystem to the edge of a starsystem. Draconians- they only ever teleport in groups, and I'm going to give them some lengthy charges for individual FTL.

It's getting really fucking ridiculous. If none of you see a problem, then you all are fucking retarded too. And if you think I am so shittin' wrong to say all this crap about how retarded this 'war' is going on, then I'll go ahead and leave the goddamn roleplay, and start one with some REAL rules in place. Where people post about getting into position, moving across a star system, and not just instantly crossing a light-minute in half a minute and blowing the shit out of a rapidly-increasing force with instant-reinforcements, while receiving your own instant-reinforcements.

I meant for my last post to be a model, not to be fucking ignored and shunned like I never posted it.

(Rant left in in case he tries to get rid of evidence)

First of all, this post was completely uncalled for and broke two rules of this RP. If you hadn't quit, then this would have gotten you banned. You insulted EVERY SINGLE PERSON in this RP at the same time, using a storm of curses because, you know, all of us here don't deserve any respect. Nobody here will join your RP, not because it's bad, but because you just told every single one of us that we're terrible roleplayers.

I'll let people call each other stupid jackasses all they want, even in the OOC if they don't get too flamey, but you insult EVERY SINGLE MEMBER, and you'll get banned instantly. I will NOT stand by and say nothing while somebody calls everyone else (who is just trying to have fun) that they're all terrible roleplayers because A FEW OF THEM aren't doing exactly what that one person wants.

Next time you decide to quit, try not to insult EVERY SINGLE PLAYER, because that's not something I will ever tolerate. These people, they all decided that I had a good idea, an idea that was worth spending time to have fun with. To me, that's one of the best compliments someone can give. I like to see people having fun as a result of something I have created, and I will not just stand by and let you insult every last one of them over the fact that I KEPT TO THE OPs STATEMENT. This roleplay is freeform, that means people make their own rules for how their own things work. Debates over how OP things are keep the power in check, but not without shooting down someone else's concept of how their species works. This isn't an RTS, this isn't a 4x game. This is a roleplay, which means we write a story, and have fun.

I still can't get over how you just raged at everyone in the roleplay, in the OOC, breaking two major rules. That is beyond stupid, that's just being ignorant. You clearly didn't know of the rules, and that's unacceptable. Just because this is freeform doesn't mean you don't need to read the rules.

So READ THE DAMN RULES

As of now, I'm banning you, WilsonTurner, from this roleplay and all of it's descendants. The only way to overrule this ban is to have the majority of accepted members vote for you to be unbanned. I want all of you people to remember this in case I forget, so that I don't let him in without public approval anytime in the future.

As for the problem of the Draconians and Valkians, the Draconians will be retreating to conquer more, perhaps to return. The Valkians will be given to Abroe just as Wilson wanted, as it was the call I would have made as well. If Abroe doesn't want them, then they get eaten by the hivemind unless anyone else manages to convince me that they'd do good with them.

Finally, I want to say this: NOBODY HERE DESERVED THAT. EVERYONE HERE JUST WANTED TO HAVE FUN, TO WRITE, WHATEVER. I REFUSE TO LET EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM BE INSULTED AT THE SAME TIME, EVER.

App review coming soon, if you still want to join after all this shit went down.

Sol, Mercury
"A shuttle will dock with you shortly."

A tiny vessel, not possibly able to hold more than five or so people, launched from the escort. As it approached the hangar, it's passengers began to feel somewhat nervous. The skull certainly didn't make them feel any better, especially it's shape. It was obviously human, like these beings knew what would make a Terran feel fear. Or worse, like they were trying to make a good impression using outdated data. They were obviously bad for different reasons, though.

Sol, Iscandarians
"All the Iscandarians here? The message didn't get to everyone else in time, did it?"

Sol, Terran High Command
"They've covered all bases. If we don't send a leader, then they know that we know who they are. If we do send one, they'll be killed. They try to appear like a bunch of clowns, playfully engaging in mock battle using tactics made for fun, not war. Those miners in the Kuiper Belt are all going to die, and if we tell them then the aliens will realize that we know."

"On the bright side, they do assume that we don't know who they are. We do though, and we also know that they jumped into the system and started shooting, having never made contact with any of the present species. They wouldn't come in with a diplomatic fleet, not from what we know. We have to assume that they have more ships, probably minimizing heat output."

"To do that they'd have to deactivate and purge all of their systems. They'll be extremely vulnerable in that state. Alert the mining vessels, tell them about the situation. Have them ready their antimatter engines. Until then... order them to engage in their play. The illusion must be held."

"What about the leader issue?"

"Our interplanetary network uses quantum transmitters, so they likely haven't gotten in yet. If they come across a facility that has a network connection via standard communications, then they'll have a way in, but for now I doubt they have a single byte of info from it. The Kuiper Belt is too far away to pinpoint our central servers on Terra, so it's safe to assume that they don't know who's in charge. Purge all info about the current Council from the database, have it say that the military took over after Paris was destroyed."

"Who will we send then?"

"It would be wrong for me to send someone as our leader knowing they would die. I'll go. Send a mandatory file to all networked computers, have it say that it's the anniversary of the military freeing the people from the treat of terrorism or whatever, end it with the code phrase AngelFall 00. The net will play along, just in case, censor out anything with any mention to a council. Make it obvious it was censored, they might see it as a strength to control your citizens."

Sol, Draconian Contact
The mining ships began to jump off of the asteroids, engaging the Draconian ships in their playful mock battle. They were using actual lasers, but they were low-power sensor versions on a different frequency. Still causing no damage, but unwittingly spamming them with worthless gibberish. While they engaged in a carefree manner, another message was sent from Terra.

"I am the leader of the Federation, Kai Vivian." Their voice was higher than that of the admiral at New Condia, implying that they might be of different races or genders. "I shall represent humanity, our belief is that in first contact a species should show who they are in actions as well as words. It would seem as though you have a similar idea, so I shall honor that similarity and give you a glimpse of what humanity is like."

A giant fleet approached, large enough to be entire military force of a species that claimed only two systems. The design of the ships was similar to that of the ones seen at New Condia, though they did not have the two rings that seemed to be a signature of Terran design. Only one had such rings, a giant vessel that was completely unrecognizable as it's original form. It was a dreadnought-sized warship, covered in plasma shield projectors and turrets. It had the same basic design of the Norway-Class, but was no longer built to accommodate any ground forces. All the rotating turret platforms held small craft, instead of the 50/50 ratio of small craft and ground vehicles it would normally have. However, the platforms were roated so that only the small craft were in view, giving the ship the appearance of a very badly designed carrier. In a completely different language, three words were painted on both sides of the ship's bow: Försvarere av Humanity.

"This is who we are."

Nouvelle
Praskoviya breathed a sigh of relief, not sure whether the nanobots had worked quickly or if he had recovered naturally. She decided not to assume anything, it wouldn't be right to take credit for his recovery if she actually had nothing to do with it.

"You're on the planet Nouvelle, in an audience with Queen Sabine. You weren't even out long enough to be moved, I'm amazed at your recovery to be honest."

Icarus, Ocean of Jul
The Terrans were clearly amazed at just how disciplined the crew was. While some branches of the Terran Navy held strict guidelines on their ships, there wasn't a single vessel where the crew would nearly ignore visiting aliens or keep every single door handle shining in a fully lighted corridor. The hallways were extremely large for any kind of ship, making it clear that while they held discipline high, comfort could very well be a close second. They marveled at the layout, having never before seen a military vessel with such large hallways.

When they reached the CIC, the Terrans smiled. It looked just like the bridge of any Terran Naval vessel, though the interactive holographic displays were somewhat surprising. Small Terran holograms couldn't be reliably used as a touch interface device, so they used more standard keyboards and mice for input. The large holographic map of the sea, though, was fully expected. On Terran vessels, they used advanced tracking cameras to scan the observer's hand movements and manipulate the map accordingly. They all secretly hoped to see the map manipulated, wondering if they used the same technique.

Seeing the captain, the man who seemed to be leading the rest spoke to the captain.

"Diplomatic Officer Kipp, commanding officer of the Norway-Class Dreadnought Iceland. I assume you are the commander of this fine vessel?"

The word "Dreadnought" would likely be translated literally due to the bad translation quality, as though he were telling them not to dread, instead of it's military connotation. The same would likely occur with the name "Iceland", whether or not they would cause confusion would likely depend upon the ability of the captain to speculate about a completely alien culture.
