Current So, as an American, what do I do when I need to choose between illegal immigration to Canada and dying in a civil war?

Up until today I've never had any trouble with my EUIV Japan games. Today I got stomped five times in a row before even uniting the country.

Bio

I'm a weeaboo communist. Are you surprised?

EDIT: You probably are now, but I'm not going to tell you why you wouldn't have been like two years ago. You get to agonize over that yourself.

I might join this. The only other non-science fiction roleplays I joined died, so it would be nice to have another.

I thought I accepted that. Well, either way, you're still accepted.

Also, you should all know about the new From Stardust, To Stardust RP (http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/74392/posts/ooc?page=1#post-2298678). Which is set in Andromeda because apparently one galaxy isn't enough. So if you join it, be ready to read about Space Marines fighting Space Samurai, and yes, it is connected to this RP, but no, you don't need to be in both.
I hope this RP works out, because I missed the Abh.

A LOT.

Durandal, seems pretty good but mind writing up a quick description of the Sakari's biology and appearance?Oh and Keyguy is sort of accepted, he has something he has to do first.

What is this thing I have to do?

A war would be a nice change of pace and help develop a bunch of chlorine-breathing religious zealots.

Speaking of developing things, I'm debating on whether or not I want the humans to jump the gun and have Sol be blown up. On one hand, Jesus Christ I would feel like a monster just writing those casualty numbers. On the other hand, character development.
I am no longer agnostic. Mahz, save my soul! Cleanse me of the typos! Keep me safe from the crashes!
In the past year? Well, for one, my posts tripled in size, and my writing reached beyond "Oh God my poor eyes" level. I'm pretty proud of that. I also continued my own roleplaying series for another year, so that's pretty nice.

In the new year? I want to see my posts get even bigger. I want to someday be an author, and forum roleplaying is pretty good as practice. The other major thing I want to do is improve my imagery, which is atrociously bad.
All that I ask in an opening post is that is explains the roleplay sufficiently, although I definitely like to see a big opening posts with heaps of exposition, it lets you know that the GM really likes the roleplay.
I don't advertise all that much, not because I'm some kind of noble guy who's just so nice he won't advertise, but because I'm too damn lazy to link to things. I'd go with a banner though, it's how I used to advertise my stuff. It's hard to make, and you usually have to pay to get it made for you, but it's worth it. Banners catch eyes, and things that catch eyes catch clicks, and clicks catch members.

My sig is humorously relevant.
-Elite: Dangerous
-Europa Universalis IV (Yeah, yeah, bit late, I know)
-A working electronic shaver (I don't have time in the morning, okay?)
-Elaborately decorated journal (For making notes about roleplaying, because there's nothing else to put in a journal, right?)
-3-D Printed model spaceship from Space Engineers Prints
-Multiple sci-fi books
-A NASA shirt, a Star Trek shirt, and a NASA/Star Trek shirt (Don't ask about the last one)
-Dolphin Figurine (Dolphins are great)
-$10 iTunes gift card (Approximately 61% of an album)
-A lot of science magazines

Might not sound too good, but last year I got high-end gaming PC, and this year our AC broke in the middle of summer (had to replace the whole thing), so i can't really complain.
