"Probably just a welcoming assembly," Ariana guessed with a shrug. "Let's just find some seats..." Her mind dove into thought; her family had just figured all demons worked the same way. Knowing that there was a hierarchy of sorts changed a lot. She chewed on her lip as her eyebrows furrowed together. She couldn't pull her cell phone to text right in front of the witch, but she'd do it during the meeting. Day one and she already learned some useful information--this was going to be a fun year.

She didn't even look at me, Ariana thought in annoyance as she looked back to Cal. She enjoyed being the center of attention, is all. "'Sup," she greeted the other girl before turning on her heel to follow Cal to the main hall. "What other weaknesses do demons have?" she asked hesitantly as she adjusted the straps of her bag at her shoulders.

"Oh, I don't want to learn magic--um, I guess an imp might be useful..." her voice trailed off and she blinked when he called her pretty. "Oh, uh, thanks," she added, feeling her face warm slightly. When the other girl walked up she cleared her throat and crossed her arms. She looked her up and down--she looked human enough. Finally, she thought, hoping the girl was indeed another human. She offered a silent wave since the two seemed to know each other.

Demon/Human War RP (What are we fighting for: possible title)

I agree that the Prince / Princess romance should win out in the end--that'd create a nice resolution. And I don't mind if the love isn't returned to the guard; I enjoy playing a character who's hopelessly devoted. Just wanted to make sure no one would be uncomfortable with it.

Ariana gladly turned her back on the demon to follow the witch. At his question, she blinked and shrugged. "It's not terribly surprising, considering this place," she assured with a shrug. He seemed to know a lot about demons... She glanced to the imp and tapped at her chin. "Think I'll take you up on that offer to learn how to better defend myself," she decided. "And thanks for the help," she added, her eyebrows raising a bit as she realized she was yet to do thank him.
