Ariana blinked as he responded. She didn't mean to say that out loud; she enjoyed talking, though, and found that this roommate wasn't going to be the best conversation partner. "I--Oh shut up. I can't trust you to keep the place clean enough for it to matter how well I memorize the floor," she snapped. "I'm going to finish unpacking and go explore the campus, so you can get back to brooding in the dark. Just be patient." She rolled her eyes as she turned back to her work.

This time. This time. This time! Vivian thought frustratingly as the buses rolled on, staring intently out the window. "Bloody hell!" she had exclaimed as the buses came upon Hawthorn, aggressively kicking the seat in front of her. Her golden eyes flickered about and she found some guards to glare at. They must have something stopping us from using our powers, she realized. When the buses finally came to a stop, she filtered off the bus with the rest of the sheep. She'd like to release some stress, but the young woman was stripped of all belongings but the clothes on her back. And she couldn't take on these people without a weapon or her powers--especially with the guards around. They didn't trust her with a pen. An older man was droning on with some welcome as she looked around at her new neighbors, a confident smirk replacing her angry glare. Funny you need such armed guards at a such a happy facility, she thought curiously, her eyes continuing to wander about as she absorbed her surroundings.

Ohh, okay. Since the PPDs work that way, it's fine. I just wanted to stay in character, and if she could get away, she would, haha. But without her powers, she's..almost harmless. Not much she can do with guards around either way.

But don't they have to actively use them to disable a power? 'Cause Vivian could easily teleport a mile away--and then another. Unless someone is with her or her powers are disabled, she's gone. And I want her to stay and be miserable uwu I'll role play the extra guard/s until she gets the collar. But a secure facility should have a good grasp on someone s slippery

Oh. If the collars haven't been given out, then what's keeping the people who don't want to be there there? Should I have Vivian be blindfolded (this would prevent her from teleporting) / hand cuffed with a couple guards? Because she'd skip out the moment she could, and that'd be easy for someone who could teleport, haha.

I assume the levels 2 and 3 already have their collars? And will the collars react if someone attempts to remove them? And are the 1 / 2 / 3s separate or anything? uwu

She opened her mouth to ask about his true form, but then her mind went back to the fight they had--sharp fangs, dark skin... She shivered and bit her lip as she wen back to unpacking. "Okie dokie, whatever you say," she said before thinking aloud, "How am I going to find the bathroom at night then?" She shook her head and threw some clothes messily into drawers and put some photos by her bed.

"I'm..not good at remembering, though, so give me, like...a week to get used to that," she added sheepishly. Who would have thought a supernatural roommate would be such high maintenance? "Well, I need to unpack," she stated, turning her back to return to her luggage.
