He had her attention well enough, and she stared at him with slightly widened eyes. Isabella jumped a bit as he fell over. She sat there for a moment, letting his confession sink it. I better let him rest, she finally decided, slowly getting up. She wasn't sure what to do with the new information. He was still a vampire, a killer. However--if he even remembered this--her life could improve. She quietly stepped around him, gathering up the wine glass and bottle to put away.
