Corrine blinked as she was met with not one, but two arrows, and she scowled. However, she kept her bow raised--lowering it would give the other girl a chance to shoot. Then, Alex commanded his men to seize the girl and her dog and her frown deepened. Shit, she thought. Unless these two know each other, why would that work? She kept silent, though, focusing her attention on the other girl and her panther as she tried to figure out what to do. She couldn't tell Alex's men to back off--not because they weren't hers, mind you--but because without the anxious girl in danger, the brave one would be more likely to shoot at Corrine and Serafina.

If a lioness could smirk, Serafina was. This girl before her was brave and bold--far more than even her mistress. The lioness didn't have much time to think on it, though, as a rattling sound approached. She turned her head, tail swishing angrily. Cori, she warned, spotting two giants approaching: the bear was large, but so was the man. They were covered in the blood of their allies, too.

"Kinda busy," Corrine responded, forcing herself to keep her attention on the girl before her. Should she break her focus, Corrine would shoot to disarm--she didn't want to kill if she didn't have to.

If playing a human, can they have magical ability and or be aware of the supernatural?

I assume they can be aware--supernatural beings need contacts in all areas of life. I've actually got an idea around that--though I probably won't use it here, maybe.

However, if they have an innate magical ability, wouldn't that just make them supernatural as well? Like a witch or something?

Corrine would shoot as Eldalia would even reach for her arrows, but I don't want to kill your character. Are you sure she'd make such a bold move with a weapon pointed at her?

Edit: Or maybe note that she notched the arrows while Corrine's attention was somewhere else, because there are plenty of opportunities to do that with my post, haha.

I'm curious. Do you think it would be okay to kill someone's character because you think that, for whatever reason, they may be doing something to kill or hurt the rp. That's probably better, in my opinion, than saying that you can't participate in my RP, because you do 'x' wrong. But then, it eliminates the possibility of you then asking them to pick up the slack, or whatever, and then they act reasonable. What do you guys think?

That's an easy way out and not one I really agree with. I understand that confrontation can be uncomfortable with people you're role playing with, but if you have a problem--especially as a GM--you need to voice it and figure out where the rest of the players stand on it. Telling someone that they're doing something wrong gives them a chance to fix it and grow as a role player. Everyone deserves that chance.

However, not everyone takes it. If this person prefers to argue and act immaturely, then the GM has every right to kill the character and/or kick the player out of the RP.

OOC conflict might make people uncomfortable, but it's sometimes necessary. And everyone involved can benefit from it in the long run.
