Kit flinched a bit at the sudden contact upon her gloves. Her eyes flickered to the perpetrator, her other hand tightening around the hilt of her knife. Although she relaxed a bit when he spoke kindly enough, she remained unimpressed and continued to scowl at the man with narrowed eyes. Even more so as his lips brushed against the fabric of her gloves. She promptly pulled away and brushed at her hand, as if trying to rid it of dirt. "Well in my culture, uninvited advances upon a woman are grounds for castration," she warned coldly, her eyes flickering back to his, "or death if you're lucky." The young woman didn't elaborate as to whether or not his greeting counted as an "advance," but it was certainly uninvited.

The man with the bow spoke next, draped in mystery with only those pale eyes peeking out from beneath his hood. Creepy, she thought. Her thoughts didn't change much when the boy called Lamb spoke, and she eyed the dagger in his hand. "Hm," she hummed, frowning at him.

Kit licked her lips, eyes peering into the bottom of her leather water bag. She scowled and dropped it back onto the belt around her waist. Her violet eyes flickered around at the men around her, narrowed in suspicion and wariness. Her hand was always close to the knife sheathed at her waist when she traveled and today was no exception--in fact, around so many strangers in such an isolated place, her fingers were relaxed around the hilt. Then, the tall one spoke up, seeming friendly and genuine enough. She looked around at the others--one was a scrawny kid, she noted--and shrugged. "Kit," she said, giving her first name. She retreated back into silence, eyes flickering around the group.

Haha, I don't lie about because I don't feel like there's a reason to. Most of the conversations go
"I like role playing."
"What's that?"
"Writing with other people."
"Oh, okay."

^ThisThis is what I'm like, and I seriously don't get why more people don't think like this. :/I mean seriously, you're better off with friends who are actually your friends and not a bully under a guise.

Yeah, I agree. Though it doesn't generally come up with a lot of my friends because I'm just not interested in talking about it with people who just don't get it? I think a majority of my friends know I role play, but talking to them about it is probably the biggest waste of breath, lol. So for a lot of people it might not be "I'm worried about getting judged." It could be "this is a hobby that isn't fun to talk to people about who don't do it."

And I think that goes for most hobbies and interests: you can really only have in depth an engaging conversations about them with people who get it. Case and point: sports go over my head so my friends who like them don't talk about it with me. And they shouldn't because I won't be able to follow so I won't care and it'd be so one sided.

Only time this is an exception is when someone seems interested in trying it out themselves, at least for me.

If you want to head a house that would be great! Yes, weaknesses will include fire and wood. Vampires will die by ripping off their head or a steak to the heart. Wood can harm vampires, but will only kill them if it goes all the way through. If the steak grazes the heart or only goes half way through, they vampire will only be in serious pain. They also have the ability to heal faster than humans. But If a vampire is hurt while in the day light, they will heal slower. And I see your point. I will allow multiple weapons (but lets not go crazy :P)

Yeah, I don't like the instant-ash either with vampires. I prefer it just making them weaker, and more and more weak the more time they spend in it. Though I also like them having a lot of weaknesses, hence me asking about fire/wood/silver, haha. Particularly wood, but I think most people prefer silver.
