Yuuyami gave a thankful smile, as she was gently pushed into her position in the parade line. It wasn't that she was unprofessional, or nothing like a soldier thrown into war directly from boot camp. She was just busy with the technical aspects. At least that was the joke of an excuse she had come up with. Although a little late, she managed to stand in the same stance as the others, but from the way the Captain had glanced at her, it seemed that her carelessness was easily spotted.

The inspection of her MAS probably stood with a bit of headache for the Captain, although Yuuyami suspected that she was starting to understand what should and shouldn't be there. Gratned, the inside might actually look like a deathtrap, with what appears to be a matte black sphere with numerous wires sticking from every which way outwards, the metallic filament visible at the tips.
"I find it hard to believe that it would be comfortable sitting around a web of exposed wires and adapters, despite your finesse in engineering."
Yuuyami smiled while cheerfully interjecting with, "But it makes for a much more home-like feel to it!", with absolute honesty. In comparison to any place that she has been in, give the woman an hour, and the place would resemble the exposed hatch of the EW center.
"Just be careful. Oh, and one more thing. Don't let me catch you trying to fine-tune the Lincoln's reactors without authorization."
With that parting remark, Yuuyami could only glance off to the side, while muttering quietly to herself, although still loud enough to be heard, "Fine~ I'll play with the comms next time~"

Joining up with the rest of the team, Yuuyami only tilted her head slightly in confusion, a little lost when the nostalgic memories about the infantry were brought up. At least, it seemed nostalgic, since she never had that experience. "Coffee....we substituted water for that when trying to finish a design by a deadline...Is there any difference in taste between coffees?", she innocently ask, as she sat herself beside Delacroix, before leaning back against the crate the French was using as a seat.
