Yeah that was a dumb move by her and her blank expression said it all as the palm slammed into her, sending her to the ground with a loud thump. Just because he couldn't do it didn't mean he didn't know about it, though maybe not its effects. "Damn that hurt" She commented to herself before trying to recover this little failed stunt of hers by swinging the Hōrin like a whip to try and lock him down. However this time she did not fully expect it to work as either way it was a distraction for her to kneel up and finally use shunpo to close in for a real attack combo with the bokken! As before her style was very open, but given how defenseless she seemed it would have been clear to anyone use to combat that it was always a faint.

Shaking off a small bit of smoke from her palm she watched the larger man slide back, at least it had hit him like she intended though she wondered just for a moment what would have happened if she had used something dangerous. "Thanks, though I just couldn't help myself." She once again entered the same stance as before as Sotaro charged her but as the sweep attack came she fell right into the attack, only managing to lift up her sword for minor protecting but she still got batted away a good distance. Landing back onto her feet she rubbed her belly where much of the force had hit, only to look towards the captain who didn't seem like she was going to be calling the match off just yet.

With a small grin Shi started to run towards Sotaro, her eyes cloaked in the shadow of her hair as she brought up her sword in front of her "Hadō #32 - Ōkasen!" A dangerous Kido was fired from her sword, the blade of flame shooting out towards the other shinigami but it hit in front of him, kicking the dirt from the ground, a miss? Bringing her sword up to her shoulder she extended her hand, if what he said before was true he may not have known what it is she was doing. "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and tear out your own throat!" Generating an orange-hued with spiraling yellow patterns ball Shi focused it into the tip of her fingers "Bakudō #9 - Hōrin!" With that a tendril shot out and would come through the dust instead of her, moving much faster thanks to the full incantation, attempting to ensnare Sotaro and pull him towards her so she could try a follow up attack with her bokken.

It ent going to be that useful if we come across a clan or group of people that hate oni lol.

Shi lowered her stance a little as Sotaro told her to prepare herself, the bokkens tip pressing against the ground due to its height. She stared down the other shinigami right before he used shunpo to close the distance, his attack kicking off their duel! Shi's eyes went wide as he moved at such speed towards her, causing her to let go of her sword with one of her hands to take a step back. However as she did her bokkens tip caught the ground which brought it standing up to block the attack like a wall, and within that single moment Shi's expression did in fact change from one of shock to a cunning grin! With her other hand taken back she had the chance to hide the kido out of his view, and with her foot back she was able to step right back in to gain distance and attack him with it. "Bakudō #8 - Seki!" She thrust her palm with the glowing blue kido right towards Sotaro's chest to try and blast him away.

Beatrix watched the other girl take her half of the prize and run off out of the way of the gathering crowd, was it possible that she was really so shy? Taking her own half of the prize, the Poffins coming in a backpack that had the company logo stamped onto it, though she liked it as she could use it to carry them. Taking the money next Beatrix gave a few waves of her sleeve to the cheering crowd, she found it nice that she was being praised like this...

Maybe she she consider doing this more often and try winning all the time. "I wonder when the nex-," She didn't have time to finish her sentence before a flyer was shoved into her hands by a rather fast talking man before he moved on to some others that he was handing them too. She took a little look down to it before she was was suddenly bumped by the floating sword behind her "What?" It just spun around her to bump the backpack over and over again, causing her to slide across the floor a little, though her blank expression said all what she was feeling at that moment.

Stuffing the money and leaflet into her sleeves she started to make her way out, of course making sure to take out one of the poffins to idly toss it behind her to Orin. On her way out she noticed the girl Alice kind of surrounded by guys, well someone as pretty as her it was to be expected but Beatrix did give a small wave to her anyway.
