Current I am Klomster, i have no status.

Bio

Known primarily as Klomster, both on the net and on real life.

I really enjoy roleplaying and do so every weak, preferably twice in two different campaigns. Sometimes even more.

From time to time i've done some forum roleplaying with mixed success. I've tried GM-ing with even more mixed success and all in all, i find forum rp's enjoyable. Hence why i joined, hoping to play some forum rp's and OWN at it. (Or something.)

I have an erratic thought pattern so my posts can appear as incoherent, if you notice you can just mention it if i should clarify anything.
Other than that, hey there fellas.

All hail Macabre Fox, our lord and savior, she-who-stays-on-our-backs-and-enforces-our-commitments, the mighty recordkeeper, the unsung hero of Formaroth, the legendmaker, the-one-who-links-the-reference-sheet, the-one-who-makes-the-reference-sheet!

Long story short I actually am really amused and appreciatice of how active you are Fox xD

This reminds me of dominions 4.
Ah, my current mental image of this.

As people are running back and forth, barely having time to enter the room to say 'sorry, no time.' and people inside the room running back and forth flailing their arms like 'gaaaah nooo tiime!!!' and someone sobbing in a corner.

I imagine myself standing amidst the chaos and bloodshed (origin of blood, no idea, nasty nosebleed perhaps?) and shrugging.
Can't be easy with all the responsibilities people seem to be having, guess i'll just see where this keeps going :P

Do note i'm not complaining, i just think it's funny.
Hehe, this is probably gonna be fun.

Reminds me of this.

A futile attempt to describe someone even as half as great as our glorious leader, but alas, it is entertaining.
@TheDuncanMorgan of course, I will fix it right away

Could it be that someone panicked? :P

Don't worry, i'm sure you can add to that simple intro so it fits the rp so far. Wouldn't be too difficult.

Just change up the facts, add some extra details and add a bit more flesh to his presence in the post.
With that i mean instead of.
"They were saw caught up in it, that no one noticed the soldiers entering until they were right in front of them."
Make it more of a scene.

Make a description of their apparel, how they move through the crowded inn. Are they in a hurry? Are they bashing people out of the way? Are they barely making an effort at haste?

When the officer steps forward, describe him a bit. Is he fat? Is he handsome? Severe difference in apparel from the regular dudes? Just a sentence or two but it adds a lot.
So instead of that, perhaps.

The guards stopped a few meters back from Lupus, while one of them, probably their officer stepped forward. A pot bellied man with a thin black mustache and a fancy hat.
-"Are you the wizard Lupus? The storyteller?" He was sweating a bit, and dried his forehead with a rag.
-"Why yes i am, is there a problem?" Lupus confusedly asked, he was not used to armed guards confronting him like this.
-"The palace officials have requested your presence to entertain at the party currently underway." The sweating man informed, Lupus was relieved that there was no actual problem.

Or something like that, actions, reactions, more spaced out instead of a wall of text.
I'm no writing genius myself but i try my best.

Also, they were SAW caught up in it?
What? They were sitting there stuck in a handsaw? Misspelling is one thing but i frown a bit more upon misswording.
But you should be fine, i'm gonna assume you just spat out an intro when you thought there was a big hurry for you to post.
I'm a bit curious about Scassia and the Sypius plains.
I just read through the religion part and decided i should work on adding a few mentions of them into my IC posts.

If anyone needs a good tip or just someone to bounce an idea with i'm up for some PM's.
Having roleplayed almost every week, at times up to three times per week, for closing in on a decade i think i have some clues on the roleplaying and character building concepts :P
I am checking daily for updates, i could try to figure out the timezone differences and check even more often.
My intention is to make this short, therefore the collab is probably half done, or at least 1/3rd.

I don't want to be the guy everyone is waiting for :P
Amusing us?

I guess you got a brainfart and meant assuming :P

It shouldn't be too long, Claus is basically just curious about the obvious.
Claus Rotstein had prepared as well as he could. He had gotten hold of some plans for the keep while consulting Alice Rallar, stationed men in crucial positions to easily get to different locations in case of an attack, and also posted a few patrols, mostly to look fancy since it was the lookouts job to sound the alarms should it be needed.
The lookouts were crossbowmen and the scouts, evenly distributed on high grounds along the keep, keeping an ever watchful eye for would be mischievous activities. With a few simple small bugles handed out so every group could call the alarm, and pass on the orders of Claus in the form of rudimentary horn calls.

The main force of the company was stationed close by, in taverns and such and waited for the signal of mobilization should the need arise, they were also going to regularly exchange the guards over the course of the event.

For the inner security, Claus had gotten his personal guard, his most skilled men, and one woman, who all wore the standard gear of the company, but had a few gold trims on their armour and some nice feathers on their helms. Armed with nicer looking halberds and maces, they sure shouldn't be seen as filthy plebs by the fine folks Claus hoped. There was some fifteen-ish people in the "guard", i all truth the steel fist didn't really have a guard segment. There were just some who were more successful than the other troops, and had gotten a few rewards for their hard work. And thus bought some nicer gear with their extra cash to show off.
Since Claus often needed the best in the company on special tasks, and used them as a mini vanguard within the main force led by himself to strike at targets in war, it's nothing strange with the fact that Claus also know these people better since he spends more time with them.

The guard was led by Claus in person, to show that he took this task most seriously. While the whole layout of the guarding wasn't very planned, they kept an attentive eye for problems, and walked straight backed and worked hard to look the part.
Claus himself had made sure to give his armour an extra polish, and gotten a nice small red cape to wear over his left shoulder with some simple silver lining. He also carried all of his weapons and his battle horn.

As he walked around with all the noblemen around, Claus tried to look professional but in truth he had no idea what he was doing. He was a battlefield tactician, not a bodyguard. Sure he had formed a vanguard for a few elven nobles in battle, but a battlefield and a party are two very different things.
Regardless of his expertise in the area, he had no plans for letting any of the people in the keep get attacked on his watch, and as such kept an ever watchful eye and constantly patrolled the party.
None of the nobles struck Claus as pure fighting people, none walked in that unmistakable way of a warrior or a soldier. It was clear that the local nobility was more the diplomatic types. Or more precisely the talk nice and then have you back-stabbed types.

To be honest, Claus was starting to get bored, he helped himself to a drink and took a slight pause while leaning on a table.
There he saw something that stood out.
Claus had seen a few of the nobles with some sort of armour, most carried a dress weapon as well. But none were like this woman he saw now.
The unmistakable march of a soldier, finely fitted full plate armour of intricate design and armed with a.. wooden? greatsword?

Claus was intrigued, not only that women usually weren't the fighting types, but this one seemed to just reek of combat and honestly didn't fit in here at all. Claus just couldn't contain his curiosity, and moved to intercept the woman.

He took a few fast steps dodging a private conversation and a server and managed to get in front, and turned towards her and made a slight bow while addressing her.
-"Milady, would you mind answering a question or two?"
The current state of my next IC post is unstarted.

But then again i write my posts on the fly, so it's not like i am expected to have a IC post that i work on.

Also.
"Ooooh, updates, i like updates!"
Is exams something that constantly goes on year round?

I've never been to uni, but everyone i meet or hear of who's been barely has any time for anything because of constant exams.
Perhaps it's just when one person finishes, another persons ones starts?
