@Hidden Lilly Of course you're welcome back! <3

Ok, I suppose we're working on the assumption we're on our own now unless proven otherwise

I'll start reading through CS's in a few hours, just doing some work right now. Would have been nice as to know what had been planned but he gave a rough outline so we can work off that
Yeah, that's really weird about him being banned, hopefully it's all a big misunderstanding that will be easily fixed
It soon became clear more survivors were being found than expected. Whilst the others worked on pulling them out Kat looked round to see what the normal humans were doing. Mostly standing and watching from the sidelines it appeared; not that she blamed them, even the most prepared wouldn't be prepared for this. She walked over to a small group of paramedics near by. "There's someone out there who can heal them if they need it. What I need you to do is find somewhere for them to go - some building for them to feel safe until their parents are found." Providing they weren't killed in the attack also, but she didn't see the use in adding that. Looking at them each in turn they sprang to life, and began to head to hopefully put the words into action.

She quickly grabbed the wrist of the nearest as the others carried on. "Somewhere that doesn't overlook the rubble and ruin." Releasing him he hurried off to catch up with the others. Looking back to the Academy she noted more were appearing, gravitating back as they all seemed to be. Sentiment, her father would have seethed if he could see her. She turned to look the opposite way, seeing press vans parked and cameras being set up, like crows after the battle, gorging themselves on the dead. They were to be avoided for certain.
@KatherinWinter It's an inherently chaotic time, so you should be able to jump in no problem! I mean it's only just happened, so if anythingit would make less sense for everyone to find out and arrive at exactly the same time
The air itself seemed to bear the scars of what had befallen the Academy, the smell of brick dust and burning. Looking out over the scene she saw emergency services carefully and methodically working and then the emerging graduates, more frantic in their movements. Kat held back though, not immediately jumping into the fray. It was clear the number of survivors was minimal and having half the alumni scrabbling about could only cause more harm than help.

Watching as a number of survivors began to be pulled from the rubble she identified the faces of before. They had changed, matured, five years meant more here than it did to her. Though she supposed she would look different to them too, even her change in wardrobe could possibly be dramatic enough. Her dress was beautiful in its simplicity, and could almost be called conservative if not for the slit to her thigh, with a band of gold at her waist. Black seemed fitting.

With the slightest movement of her hand a faint halo of gold surrounded the area before disappearing again. No Asgardian magic. This was not the work of her kin; there would have been no reason or motivation but it had not stopped them in the past. It had only been the smallest possibility but it settled that fear, though answered no questions, namely who could have done such a thing.
An evening to breathe, an evening to rest, it's all she wanted. The room had only the dimmest of light and some of that came from the moon light spilling through the large windows. Lounging with a dog dozing at her side and with a book balanced on her thigh Kat was writing in some runic alphabet. The picture was serene, a distant world from the chaos that preceded her. That was until the phone on the side obnoxiously flashed and buzzed, the dogs head snapping up at the sudden interruption. She'd forgotten to turn the infernal thing off, of course.

Quickly jotting down a few more notes and giving the dog a gentle stroke, she stood and picked up the phone planning to turn it straight off. However the alert gave her pause.

BREAKING NEWS: ACADEMY OF HEROES AND VILLAINS ATTACKED, ATTACKERS UNKNO...

Her brow furrowed briefly and she went over to the TV. The harsh light filled the room and the dog jumped down from the sofa to slink away somewhere quieter. Switching to an international channel she was confronted with a sweeping shot of the smoldering remains of the Academy. "Gods..." She stood and watched the breakdown of the carnage but it soon became clear that the only current certainties was death and destruction. This was a power move but who was sending it, and what were they trying to prove.

It was not so much that she wanted to get involved but how could she not? She probably had some civic duty to ensure this was nothing Asgardian, that and she was more or less wired to thrive on dysfunction. So she was returning to the Academy, if situations were different she may have laughed. Turning off the television and taking a moment to give up the quiet night she longed for she went to prepare. Yes, she was returning but she wasn't wearing the guise any more. The role of the teen idle had grown dull long before she'd left, it was time for something a little more magical.

Eldkatla Lokidóttir

Gender Female

Age 25

Parents Loki and unknown

Powers Sorcery; superhuman strength; enhanced durability; asgardian lifespan

Abilities Advanced intellect; cunning; word power; knowledge of potions/charms

Bio With the God of Mischief as your father a normal upbringing is more or less out of the question. For as long as she can remember her father has been teaching her. She's been learning how to wield weapons, how to fight, how to manipulate, but most of all her magic. Kat doesn't resent him for her childhood though, understanding the necessity of it all now. However it wasn't a stable childhood, with Kat in constant movement in and between realms. Not much detail is really known about her early years so why or how she came to be on Earth is equally mysterious, but she was quickly directed to the Academy in fear of her reaping the chaos as Loki had before her. Her time there was as unstable as her life, disappearing for a time and returning with no explanation.

Eventually she left for good, 'graduated' so they said, whatever keeps them happy. Almost immediately she disappeared, hard to reach and hard to find. But there were still small signs she remained on Earth: a figure in the back of a tourist photo, a face at a ball with an ignorant man by her side. Then the academy was attacked and curiosity won out. The Midgardians may believe curiosity killed the cat but she knows better.

People are quick to point out her flaws: a vain and stubborn girl, more occupied satisfying her hedonism than worrying about anyone else. It doesn't worry her, if they are willing to underestimate her it is their own downfall they are orchestrating. Because in truth, there is so much more. Granted there is nothing innocent about her, Kat is amorous and sarcastic, favouring a macabre sense of humour. However she is intelligent and sharp, able to win favour and fight wars with words alone; she's truly Machiavellian. Despite her penchant for chaos she seems to always be composed. That is not to say she does not anger, but it is not in anger that she should be feared. When she falls silent is when you should beware.

Appearance At a first glance Kat could easily be written off as looking identical to her father. She is tall, standing at 6'1", and shares his distinctive pale skin, green eyes, and black hair. However at a closer look you can see her mother is in her face as well. The sharp features of her father have been softened into something more charming and alluring. She does not have his lean and hungry look and although not a conventional Asgardian beauty something about her draws the eye.
Can't see why that would be a problem :)

@Avanhelsing Well the RP was struggling and the whole set-up of the RP had become a bit.. well, stale SO we're starting a 'chapter 2' set 5 years after they've all graduated. The new interest check explains it in more detail :)
