Kat gave the rec-room a quick look around; she was going to go stir crazy if she was going to spend all her time stuck in here. It musn't be too hard to sneak out of here without raising suspicion... But her thoughts were interrupted by a familiar voice. She turned to face Finnigan, leaving his hand empty for a short but substantial time before taking it. "Ah yes, you're the one who interrupted Victor and I's conversation earlier." And the one who kept staring. Anywhere else she would have played it differently, but he knew who she was so there was little to gain in pretending to be sweet and naive.
@The Slenderman There was some problems identified on the previous page

@SgtEasy As far as I'm aware :)

@Hadesdotter Hello new person, I love the idea of her suit being her support!
When Finnigan threw the grenade Kat ducked down and a shimmering bubble appeared around her, with any and all debris and fire passing over her. When it was officially all over she stood up, looking about the scene as her armour faded away in a gold mist but this time revealed an elegant dress. Well I'm not trying to be understated anymore. Most seemed to have been fine, with the only injury being a case of friendly fire and she was giggling away besides.

And now they were to relax, if she had understood correctly. The threat could not be so urgent if they had prepared a room in which they could wait, though it was hard to know until they were told who it were they were meant to face. Hearing Victor she dragged herself from her thoughts, her eyes lighting up as he mentioned having Asgardian food. "Oh, that is the best news I've heard in some time. But you know what's better than the food? The drink." She said hopefully, it hadn't taken long to realise even the so called strongest drinks on Earth were wasted on her.
Yeah, I was trying to keep a little distant because obviously I'm biased but there are some inaccuracies and flaws...
I already have a character who is a child of Loki, it's ultimately up to Erklings but ideally I'd prefer it if there wasn't another..
Kat rolled her eyes at the response. Her token effort of group work had been fulfilled, now they had no basis for criticism. Quickly noting the remaining figures not the focus of attack she fired of rapid bursts of magical energy, bright blue and one for each. She noted one of the women avoided the hit despite not seeming to look but her attention was distracted by the floor beginning to shake.

Whipping around she found the source and smiled. "Come on baby, rock my world." Kat teased as she stalked up to him before beginning to attack. She was the image of fluidity and grace, a matter-of-fact destruction, alternating between sword and magic at seemingly random. More of her attention was on her footwork than usual, as was to be expected with the floor being unsteady as it now was.

Then the floor seemed to swell up and rise like a wave, which seemed determined to crash down on her. She quickly jumped back, disappearing behind the wave for a moment before it smoothed out again. Quickly jumping up she rushed him only for him to land a heavy hit. However 'Kat' began to fade and fracture away, with Avalanche left looking on in dazed confusion. That was all the time the real Kat needed to drive the sword into his back, upon which he faded too as her illusion had before him.
As Fury signaled the beginning of the task Kat took a few steps backwards to get the best view of the room. A short ornate sword appeared in her left hand and the seemed to hold a dull light, the beginnings of a glow, which almost seemed to smoke. In a feeling that was uncomfortable and foreign to her, Kat was at a disadvantage. She was new to this realm, unaware of the powered individuals that inhabited it. So when they appeared before her she was on the whole as uniformed as before.

"Any recommendations?" She shouted out, seeing the individual with fire disappear. That was good, fire was not something she wanted to dance with.
My day's been a little chaotic (ironically) but I'm going to post as soon as possible! :)
Skirting and dancing around, yet not telling us who we're supposed to face. It was an important factor to everyone here, certainly, but for her it was the key factor. Midgard was weak and far too often the battlefield for bigger wars with better players; Kat couldn't care less what some insignificant figure thought of her but she wasn't prepared to start making powerful enemies. It would appear she would have to wait however as Fury didn't seem hugely forthcoming with any information.

She looked over at Sam as he spoke of wanting to know his teammates. She gave a small smirk as she looked back to Fury, wondering if anyone else here had any more personal grievances with her father. But names didn't seem to be what Fury had in mind as he led them to the black room. She reached out and put her palm against the wall for a moment, looking about as others disappeared to the cubicles. It was easier for her to change into her 'costume' - though in truth the clothes she wore now were more likely to fit that criteria - as a gold mist began to cling to her, shifting and revealing leather and metal.

Yes, that was easy. Working with others would be harder, working well with others was an even rarer occurrence for her. That wasn't how she'd been raised or trained; trust was important, and trust was something she was severely lacking in.
@KatherinWinter Oh they're horrible, you get all the false hope of finally getting out of winter and then bam, cold, feel better soon :)
