The idea is they do things behind the scenes usually or at least try too. If something does spill out to the street SHIELD has the power to get it out of public knowledge. They will be on their own and called in when something's needed to be taken care of.

I see a LOT of quickly deployed movie crews when SHIELD stands for "Shit Hit. Initiate Emergency Limelight Distraction."
I was thinking to make his relaxed form the furred and it takes a concentrated effort to revert to human. IF He Who Walks behind allows, it could happen if he shakes hands with his skinwalker as the two mutant powers clash. Perhaps he has to touch the Native American each time he has to pass for human or else just once and it becomes a permanent reflexive function.
Otherwise....

I'm not sure, Hawk. As co-GM, I make the decision along with Ruby, and I would say nay, just as I don't really see how it would fit in with our vision for the roleplay.

But I'll consult with her and let you know ASAP!

In a regard to us beginning, I would say we will start with the group's first meeting. So maybe post how your character is anticipating what the others will be like.

I appreciate the consult for a quick resolution. If I may ask, can you give me some constructive suggestions and ideas to work from to either make him fit or else to make someone else that would fit if kalahari is completely un-salvageable for this particular RP.

Very cool character. But he can't pass as human when required, and that would have left him off the team. It's a big deal for Howard Stark, because he knows the attitudes of his day...and the realities of politics.

That makes total sense, I can see why he wouldn't be a viable choice.
Quick double-check, what time frame or feel are we going for? If we are doing Secret society, I doubt secret societies have full on brawls in the street. I cant help but imagine shades of the hellfire club from at least the x-men cartoon. It would change how I represent the character in social as well as societal representations. If not characters entirely. I see thunderstrike as someone raised as a white supremicist who became a human supremicist after first contact with mutants or aliens, after gaining powers of thor, he becomes a defender of humanity and would actually represent concerns for the civilians at risk. IF I choose to do beast, he will be a mutant rights activist and political figure representing the human rights of those with the x-gene concerning such rights as mutant registration.
Can I get a yea or nay on the cheetah before I post?
@knighthawk That's a well drawn picture. Damn. Your work?

@El Taco Taco Looking forward to it!

I wish, but no, not my work.
I thought Lionheart was a male, unless I'm thinking of just Captain Britain and being stupid...

Also, I remember the last time you made Lionheart and liked him. So that's my personal pick, Beast would be cool too.

I was sitting and thinking it over, I have a good idea I wanted to run past GM's and people first:
A Neo-norse Thunderstrike who is a human supremecist. He was at an anti-mutant rally when a superhuman fight broke out and his back was broken, leaving him unable to use his legs. A few years later one of the big bads appear and when thor arrives, is separated from his hammer for a minute, weakening his power. This human sees mijyolnir and crawls over to it to try and save some humans from the attack where he is found worthy. He fights the threat and wins but refuses to return the hammer as its power lets him walk again! Finally another norse god offers him a replacement item that will grant him similar power and the ability to walk as long as it is in his possession. He turns over the hammer in exchange for the mace, but he is still a human supremicist and so he refuses to help mutants and aliens or the like as 'they have their own ways to save themselves' in his mind.

I am thinking later for a big twist, is that somewhere down his family line is a 'Korbinite' (species of beta ray bill) so he would have to come to terms with his own impure humanity.
@knighthawkInteresting combination, and one normally restricted in the base game of D&D. I hope it's an interesting backstory for your paladin training!

Nice character. He and Riley should have an interesting dynamic, he'll probably be the only one Riley can tolerate (and he'll be sure to show more favor for one of Rommel's boys than the Americans and British)

Thanks, I was trying really hard to not copy Riley, as much as they parallel each other. I wonder what happens if they shake hands, touching the pelt of a mutated cheetah...
