No Heroes: A Star Wars Tale

Something I am working towards with Renga: He is always looking for more DC-15s's everywhere ha can find them, his plan is to slave several (8) to a backpack for an unlimited ammunition source for any weapon. Yes, for his gun it is like an 10,000 round ammo backpack for a mini-gun strapped to an UZI, but being able to lay suppressive fire without fatigue for an unlimited amount of time would be "impressive... most impressive."

Spiderverse: the Return

I'm working on my spidy imag and i'm hitting a creative fork: true ninja clothing is supposed to be cheap but tough and disposable. I'm thinking of army surplus and thriftstore/garage sale purchases. The second is a bit more Hollywood ninja or something from a comic book...so to speak. Last is if we have access to all spidey tech across all worlds. several times has peter parker been one of the most brilliant minds out there, much less a dozen under one roof.

Tieflings

So, I had an idea for tieflings and I wanted our opinion on them, I'm not trying to take over, this is just the storyline i've always used since 4e D&D and I wanted to see if it was not too terrible.

One hundred years ago, there was a small country that was little more than a princedom on the coast of a fallen kingdom. The powers that feel the king (Orcs/goblinkind) had worked their way to the ocean, those that could flee did so to the castle until it was besieged by a sea of war. They did their best to fight back the tide, but one y one the rings of the city fell until it seemed like all hope was lost. Finally the prince called out for somebodyanybody to save them... And the call was answered.

"I'll give you the power to protect yourself and those you serve. So long as you and all of your family serve me until the end of your bloodline." The prince agreed without seeking wiser minds, not knowing the proviso that all who swear fealty to the crown are considered family. Suddenly, the entire city erupted into flame as every drop of citizen blood in the streets caught like dragonfire to burn away the invaders and frighten the rest into scattering.

When the flames died down, the people were changed, marked forever by the allegiance to the king. many cursed the king and renounced their fidelity, they burned alive again as the gift was revoked. Lore and knowledge became myth and legend of the king who could strike a man dead across the world.

Over time, they came to understand their powers and where it came from, some were immune to fire, others could see into the darkest of night clear as day. THose that could cast magic found contact with the planes below easier while the higher planes were barred to them. Some gafe into the dark patronage and became clerics to the devils or warlocks to bind their souls for more power. Where others tried to live simple lives with cloven feet and forked tongues. Thirty years ago, that all changed.

After the ripple, Tieflings found their power not so much drained as refined. Tieflings may only cast magics of fire without hindrance, but still only at the power levels before the event. This makes them only seem powerful as compared to others but in truth their 'boost' is only 'no loss' to fire magic. They may only summon creatures of infernal characteristic, regardless of their own beliefs. Any warlock pacts are only to their prince's demon, the same for any (un)holy divine magic or none at all. All tieflings care some manner of traits unable to be disguised, as different as combination of hair and eye colors there seem to bee dominant and recessive traits of features. There have even ben talks regarding crossbreeding that the tiefling traits are magically always dominant to ensure the bloodlines live on.

Powers - Comparable to those of 616 except for the fact that his organic webbing, He harvests his webbing and applies a compound to keep the webbing last 60 hours instead of 60 minutes. he keeps these on various ninja tools whenever needed. He combines his ninja techniques with his powers for devastating effects such as a 2-ton nerve jab.
Weaknesses - As a ninja, he should have spent a number of years developing a resistance to poisons and the like. But for some reason, he is highly susceptible to venom.
Personality - More disciplined than most, he takes his with and humor in taunts and 'counting coups' to drive his enemies to flaw.

BRIEF Bio -
In the Mangaverse Peter Parker is the last member of the Spider Clan of ninjas and has been taught martial arts by his sensei, Uncle Ben. After Ben's murder by Venom, an underling of the Kingpin, Peter starts to train in secret so he will be strong enough to exact his revenge. In this version of Spider-Man, Aunt May is Peter's mother's sister instead of Uncle Ben being his father's brother. This symbiote does not become Venom and has mystical origins and connections to an 'evil' clan of Ninja who are affiliated with Spiders, apparently a counterpart to Spider-Man's own ninja clan. Norman Osborn, better known as the Green Goblin, has a minor appearance in the series.

Notes - One of "spider-clan's" favored weapons is his meteor hammer/rope dart, using the ability to cling to surfaces to provide impossible fulcrum positions while whipping up tremendous force of a 100 lbs weight spun around with 20 ton strength for 2,000 ton impact, or 2 Kilotons.

He panted softly as he looked the other over, they had been sparing for a few minutes now and the differences were noticeable but nothing like the similarities. They fought with different styles, but both fought with different standards of honor... even ninja standards.

BRIEF Bio - Only son of GCPD Swat officer, Hernando Camazotz, his mother died years ago in a mugging gone wrong. He always wanted to be a cop like his father, he kept his nose clean, regular boyscout, ROTC in highschool. Right out of senior year he went into the Police academy, sadly he failed the psychological exam. He failed the exam four times, under hypnosis there is just something not right for the police force. When the quake happened, Christopher lost contact with his dad and so started strapping on the spare gear kept in the house to go looking for him.
Personal Mission - Find his missing father, last seen in the Gotham Zoo.

Armour:
Ankheg Platemail he earned after getting swallowed whole by the beast. His mother had sent him out to protect some farmers from loosing cattle and bit off more than he could chew. His saving grace was that it had spit up its stomach acid earlier in the fight so when he was swallowed, he wasn't bathing in its juices as he cut his way free with his throwing axe.

His heavy wooden shield is little more than a stacked pair of barrel lids, a keepsake from his first tavern brawl he had since put fittings to to protect himself in the future. He most often uses the shield with his throwing ax when his scythe is of no use to him. People joke that since it came from a gnomish brewer, the wood must be acid proof, he hasn't tested this theory.

Weapons:
His primary weapon is a Scythe that once belonged to a cleric of Chauntea who fell in battle beside him. The scythe lets him use his full body with each swing while keeping an ionic look for his future fame. They fought beside one another dealing with a goblinoid threat and the cleric fell to a lucky javelin throw.

A throwing ax is his primary offhand and ranged weapon, allowing him to put his strength on a ranged targets. It was a piece given to him from a dwarf bard for having the courage to stand against a tree with an apple on his head.

Gold: 100 GP in forms of various smaller treasure, such as silver goblets, jeweled dagger and other trinkets.
Biography:
His story starts with his ancestors. His great grandmother was a paragon of elven ways and life, a paladin to Mielikki who rode a unicorn into battle. But it seems her pride was his doom, a moments weakness with a human ranger whom she had thought was a blessing of the elven gods resulted in a half-elven child.

That half elven boy still had the spark of nature and became a ranger like his father. A good and noble position, the best a human could achieve in elven eyes, but his every breath was a reminder to his mother of a moment when she was less than the ideal elf. That stain spread when he in turn fell in love with a human, just as his mother had before him. This child was almost considered illegitimate as a full human if not for the druidic magic that flowed in her veins and the almond eyes.

The final insult came twenty years ago when the druid human made peace with the orcs trying to deforest the trees on the edge of the wood. A bargain was truck to lead the orcs to naturally fallen trees within the forest for their use or to hew diseased wood to prevent infecting others. This bargain was consummated with the shaman of the orcs and a half-orc child was born of the union.

He was nearly killed on the spot if not for divine intervention, a birthmark of a unicorn rests atop his breast showing him to be gifted by Mielikki, just as his great grandmother. She watches and waits while showering him with back-handed praise as she begrudgingly trains him with nearly suicidal missions, If he dies, she wins, if he lives, she corrects him on everything he did wrong.

Miscellaneous

Items
He wears a holy symbol of Heironeous rather than Mielikki, as a tournament of arms was fought to a draw against another paladin. He offered to exchange holy symbols as a gesture of brothers in arms and was received with zeal.

He prefers to wear simple homespun fabrics under his armor, burlaps or stiff leathers as an act of humbleness and simplicity.
