Background:
Imagine that you're holding on to two bottles and they drop on the floor. What happens? They both break. But it's how they break that's important. Because, you see, while one bottle crumples into a pile of glass, the other shatters into a jagged-edged weapon. You see, the exact same environment that forged older brother into a warrior crushed baby brother. Now here's the twist, the runt is the older brother.
Its no surprise the world was hell in a handbag, day by day it was getting more different. The two boys thought they were safe in aristocratic society, one of those big folk who buy their way out of trouble. the kids engaging in pointless arts like horseback riding and rapier fighting, that is until the colony they lived on was destroyed. The two survived in an escape pod worth more than most spaceships and worth every penny. They were rescued and prepped for having survived first contact with the enemy, the bigger stronger brother was fitted for an armor, but he couldn't take the stresses of the training and took his own life. "The world is so, damn, ugly." were the last words on his bloody lips.
