Alex had stayed behind as the others milled out. It was a lot to absorb at the moment as he tucked his twin tomahawks into his pants, having torn the carpenters loop, that was no illusion. He wasent sure about everything but he was certain of a few things.

"Can you show me more?"

It was just a moment, but it was a good moment. He hadn't been so sure about taking charge, when he said he was like captain america, he had meant speed and strength, not a leader. But when Casper prodded him to act, he took the reigns.

He had been trained to survive, to be self sufficient. The mutant powers are tools, skills to be developed. Even his mutant strength and speed were not there yet.

He remembered the day his powers first manifested, the fear in the boy's eyes, the cruelty and lust on the others, his rage at the injustice. The rush of wind, the crack of thunder, the falling glass, the warm blood. He had broken the sound barrier, he had run over a mile a second, for less than a second. He saved a life.

"I'm not sure if I should ask to be leader right off the bat, one test in. Maybe others are better at this than me. But, I've seen what happens when people wait for others to act, people suffer. Everyone asks 'Why didn't I do something.' Its because of the panic, the urges to do everything and in the end do nothing. Even if I'm not the leader, if some telepath is better or you already got some teacher in mind, I'd like to learn more so maybe I can be the strategist for whoever you pick."

Mr. Pierce just smiled and gave out a rough chuckle.
"The best leaders are the ones who don't want to lead. Danger. Unlock level one through three 'Storm tutor program' for Alexandew Xavier."

Alex winced at his full name, but the wince became wide-eyed as the female leader of the mutants stepped out of the wall. She was wearing the classical training uniform of danger room sessions. This was going to be interesting.
standard para-military bootcamp uniform
@knighthawk Very true. I think that there should be uniformity as far as color schemes but everyone should have that little something that makes it unique to them.

Agreed, I'm working on a 'baseline' uniform to start, and then extrapolate from there based on individual tastes and merits.

@knighthawk As far as I'm concerned you can just have fun with it :). Do you think it should be the uniforms similar to the movies? But perhaps instead of blue they are silver or something to differentiate us from the other school. Or would you rather do it more like the comics where everyone's costume is unique?

Well that is the difference between a uniform and a costume, Uniformity. I think some simple baselines would do well to keep people similar but uniquely their own. The uniforms also regularly provided some sort of body-armor quality to them regardless of the colors, not unlike edna's 'megamesh' from the incredibles.

Behold, Lob, master of eloquence!
Lob

Location: Jail
Interacting With: Ash, Kyra, Sundos

When lob was left the bone, he didn't want to risk being seen with their broken to so he used his ape-like dexterity to hook the bone over his foot and bring it up to his mouth like a dog would scratch behind its ear. And of course you always get guests when you sit down to dinner. He smelled ash coming once again, but now the familiar scent was much stronger and clearly different. There in the shadows he saw her, the wayshe moved was different but maybe she put some fat on for winter. His squirming in his stocks like an overexcited puppy was making the wood groan in protest until-

"I'm Kyra, who are you?"
"Kyyraa...not Sansa. Lob, Lob good, Lob sit. Ash bone, bone good, Ash good."

And like a disappointed dog, he went back to his bone; a bit dejected, with a heavy sigh. He was about to answer her when he smelled two more and curled a bottom lip just a bit but brought it back down as it wasn't the alpha of this village.

"Greetings, Sister...hmm... Ash and you, Brother. Fear not the Darkness, Dawn Shall Arrive soon. I promise, Sister, I am not following you. However, I was guided here to meet the constable and a priest."

Lob looked at the other like he was an idiot.
No. No moon, sundown, moonup, moondown, sunup. Sun down, no moon, wait, two watch, then sun.

"Brother, I am called Sundos Solito, I am a DawnBringer. May the Glory of Lathander shine upon you. Have you also come to help defend the village?"

Yes, Lob good, Lob sit.
All the drama. All of it. Here. Drama. All. Of. It.
Drama.
There's drama here...

Behold! The school Mascot:
@ShieldsOfWarDouble check, Is there any sort of requirements to the uniforms if we make it to x-men? Sometimeseveryone wore the samething with miniscule adjustments and sometimes everyone did their own thing.
@knighthawk There's only one way to find out lol!
