Thomas was a bit surprised to find three of their group in the meeting hall, it was one of those details that sank in after the storm. Had he been so focused on Carol that he hadn't noticed Lyra? That was not only against the code of the misfits, it also creeped himself out a bit.

“It’s never too late to learn a language Thomas. Especially when you already know three. I’m sure you can do it. Anyways, want to go practice?”

Noting to fix that now, he looked to carol with a smile and approached Lyra. He took her hand and put it to his arm as a guide to try and lead her to the training area after the speedster and the giant man. He did not change into his costume as she did not have one either but stopped short as she was literally running circles around the towering teen.

"You know, I think our powers aren't as... physical as theirs, We could probably do meditation or mental exercises instead... But if you really want to go at it, can I recommend staff or batons to use your stick skills?"

Something on his paperwork he really didn't feel like sharing right now was ten years of ninjutsu under his belt. He saw Paul bunion over there and could see the achilles tendon tense up as he moved nd thought about a single strike would being him down. Cheeta was too fast for melee, best taken out at ranged or a trap she couldn't outrun like a glass pane in a doorframe.

Lyra did bring up an interesting second point on accident, he already knew two languages with no similar syntax like french does to spanish. He could learn Farsi, he could also learn Krav Maga and his ninjutsu would onl strengthen what he was going to learn.

Dani's finally experimenting with her powers. This is the first time she's really opened up and run at a great speed (knowingly anyway) so there's a lot of adrenaline coursing through her right now. She's kind of like a kid on a sugar rush. The come down is going to be a bitch though.

Same here for Kyle, I looked to see when he joined the teen titans and used the history right up to that point. I fuge we dont want to go past JLA and white lantern and all of that.

Normally I would have an issue with that but seriously with this set up I don't think its that big of an issue. So Eli and Kyle are accepted. Make sure on eli's sheet his listed as leader like how I have it on Nightwing's.

Brief Bio:

Before he acquired a Green Lantern ring, Kyle Rayner was a struggling-but-gifted freelance graphic artist. He lived and worked in Los Angeles initially. After Hal Jordan, grief-stricken over the destruction of his hometown of Coast City, went on a mad rampage, killing the entire Green Lantern Corps and most of the Guardians of the Universe who oversaw the Corps, Rayner was found by Ganthet, the last surviving Guardian, and given the last Green Lantern ring: the powerful weapon wielded by each Green Lantern, which allows them to conjure any form of matter or energy solely with their willpower. Ganthet's reasons for choosing Kyle to bear the ring have never been made completely apparent, aside from Rayner having been in the right place at the right time.

Kyle, unsure of what to think about having this new power, went to his ex-girlfriend's apartment, Alexandra DeWitt, showing her that he now was a Green Lantern. She decided to help him, and after his first adventure where everyone thought he was Hal Jordan, she recommended he redesign his costume to distinguish himself.

The new look did not stop Mongul from trying to tear him apart during his first week as a Green Lantern, however, when Mongul came looking for revenge against Green Lantern for his defeat in Engine City. Mongul decided any Green Lantern would do. With some help from Superman, one of his heroes, Kyle defeated Mongul. It took the alien warlord by surprise that Kyle's ring could work against his yellow skin. Superman was shocked when Kyle knew virtually nothing about Hal Jordan or the Green Lantern Corps.

Kyle and Alex got back together, and she helped Kyle train for his new role as a superhero. Tragically, she was brutally murdered by the supervillain Major Force, who had been sent to learn the truth about the new Green Lantern, after a few shadowy government operatives recovered the final battery. Force made the mistake of showing the battery to Kyle during the fight, allowing GL to recharge his ring at a crucial moment. Kyle stopped just short of killing Major Force when the authorities arrived. Kyle was then approached by Alan Scott, the Golden Age Green Lantern, who told him a little about the history of the Green Lantern Corps. He also told him about Hal Jordan's madness and warned that they would all have to confront Hal soon.

That day would come sooner than later, when Hal Jordan (now the villain Parallax) joined with Extant and used his awesome powers to try and reshape the universe itself. After a massive battle that nearly destroyed all of space and time, Hal was defeated by a coalition of heroes. In the battle, he disappeared with Kyle. Kyle and Hal ended up on Oa, where Parallax attempted to absorb even more energy from the planet itself. Kyle was forced to detonate the planet to stop Hal's madness. Lost in space, Kyle met up with a former Green Lantern who stole his ring from him. However, she surrendered it back when she learned it would not work for her; Kyle soon made his way back home. He decides to take up residence in New York City.

Back on Earth, Kyle briefly joined up with another former Green Lantern, Guy Gardner, for a second shot at Major Force. This time, Kyle actively chose not to kill the villain, but Guy had no such hesitation. Parallax would soon return to Earth, demanding the last power ring, but Kyle soon proved that he was more than worthy to bear the name Green Lantern.

During a battle against Sonar, Kyle would meet The Flash (Wally West). Wally, having grown up with Hal and his uncle Barry Allen as Green Lantern and Flash, did not think very highly of the new GL at first. Their bickering almost allowed Sonar to overcome them. They managed to overcame their differences, however, and would go on to become good friends. He also meets Superboy while investigating the ruins of the Silicon Dragon base beneath the Pacific. GL and Superboy encountered Black Manta, in his new monstrous form. Kyle admits to being a bit on edge when Superboy explains he brought Sam Makoa along, someone without powers, as this prompted bad memories of Alex. All three are able to escape the lair (rescuing some kidnapped victims along the way) and Kyle relaxes with Superboy at The Compound before heading off.

Brief Bio:

Eli Bradley is a young man with a family legacy spanning three generations of heroes. The grandson of the black Captain America, Isaiah Bradley, Eli is a passionate and loyal young man, and the hero and Young Avenger known as Patriot.
Eli Bradley comes from a family of heroes. Eli's grandfather, Isaiah, one of the first Super-Soldiers produced by the U.S. military, fought against the Axis in World War II (see: "Truth: Red, White & Black"), and his uncle, Josiah X, continued the family tradition, enlisting in Vietnam and recently taking up Isaiah's old Captain America uniform and joining the Crew. But Eli, unlike his grandfather and his uncle, was not a part of a sinister government plot to replicate Captain America's Super-Soldier Serum. Eli was never administered any type of Super-Soldier Serum, and was born with no superhuman abilities.

At a time when the Avengers had disbanded, a young Kang The Conqueror traveled to the present era; sickened to have learned of the tyrant he would become from his future self, the teenage incarnation of Kang attempted to contact the Avengers in hopes to rewrite his personal history. Unsuccessful in his attempts to contact the Avengers, he downloaded the Vision's programming and operating system from the recently destroyed Avenger's remains, and accessed the Avengers' Failsafe program. Calling himself Iron Lad, the young Kang sought to recruit three New York-area based young men on the Vision's list of potential Avengers candidates to aid his cause; Eli's uncle, Josiah X, among them. However Josiah had been out of contact with his family for some time, and when Iron Lad encountered Eli, the youth told Iron Lad that he too was a super-soldier, wanting to live up to his family's heroic tradition. Eli used illegal Mutant Growth Hormone (MGH) pills to gain superhuman abilities, but informed Iron Lad he had received a blood transfusion from Isaiah following a violent altercation which caused heavy blood loss, resulting in the transference of the Serum and its desired effects. Wearing a costume very similar to that of Captain America's original sidekick, Bucky, Eli donned a full cowl and a set of five-pointed throwing stars as Patriot, and alongside his new teammates Teddy (Hulkling), Billy (Wiccan) and the Iron Lad, formed the Young Avengers.

On one of their earliest outings the Young Avengers' super hero careers began to take off. After nearly bungling the rescue of a wedding party held hostage, the Young Avengers gained a persistent ally in Kate Bishop. Kate, a young woman in the wedding party, helped rescue herself, and Patriot, using one of Eli's discarded throwing stars. Immediately Eli and Kate demonstrated a contentious, and adversarial relationship. Eli found Kate annoying and arrogant, but their relationship was made more complex after Kate gave him one of Captain America's original triangular shields, and as Eli returned the favor and saved Kate's life as well.

Following their initial encounter with Kang, the Young Avengers had been greatly changed. Eli's team had gained both Kate Bishop, and the teenage daughter of Scott Lang (Ant-Man), Cassie Lang (Stature), and had lost it's founder and leader, Iron Lad, for the sake of time itself. Though Eli was able to impress Captain America during this first encounter where the Young Avengers defeated Kang the Conqueror, both Iron Man and Captain America forbade the team from going out in costume again, using the threat of contacting and informing each teenager's parent. But the kids wouldn't take "no" for an answer, and after Kate unveiled their new headquarters at the abandoned Bishop Publishing building and new uniforms for the team, they went out into the world officially as "Young Avengers." Eli's new costume was only slightly different from his previous uniform, with a smaller, 'Zorro-style' mask and a scale-mail costume, like those of his grandfather, his uncle and Captain America.

Soon after Eli's teammate Wiccan caught him in the act of using MGH to boost his powers. After taking MGH, Patriot fought Hyde one-on-one before injecting him with an overdose of MGH and knocking him unconscious. After being forcibly calmed by Wiccan's magics, Eli woke up in recovery at Avengers Tower, with the new Vision (now sporting the personality and memories of his friend Iron Lad) taking care of him. Eli revealed the true origins of his powers, then proceeded to quit the team. However he subsequently rejoined the Young Avengers after Hulkling was attacked by the Super-Skrull.

During a battle between the Kree and the Skrulls, in which the Young Avengers fought alongside the New Avengers, Eli used himself to shield Captain America from gunfire, Eli was severly injured and rushed to a hospital. After the battle Captain America rushed to the hospital to give Eli a blood transfusion only to discover "another Captain America", Eli's Granfather, had already given Eli his blood. Since then Eli has gained the power he had previously pretended to have thanks to the transfusion.

Eli joined Captain America's Secret Avengers during the Civil War. Patriot led his team to assist the Runaways after they were attacked by the government. The Young Avengers and the Runaways worked together when two of their members were captured, and the Runaways decided to stay out of the mix in the war. Patriot managed to keep most of his team together, but Stature decided to join Iron Man's side.

It was a lot to take in, but he was trying to be open minded so he didn't have a meltdown. From the woman reaching between his legs to take up itty-bitty man to the escort to the limos, he was sitting across from a knocked out Oliver and Paul before his breath started becoming ragged... The injections were real, they were experimented upon, did their parents know? Was that the exchange of looks this morning?

He searched the limo until he found some bottles of water and took a long drink until the bottle was empty. Then another bottle was drained out before he stated to relax. When the city building loomed, the light started to dawn. As they were lead into the new facility, all the lights were going off, he was so excited he accidentally teleported ten feet to the right.

As they were given the tour, his excitement grew but not enough to involuntarily teleport again. After it was all said and done they were given both their old fill-out forms and the new folders for new identities. It seems from their folder aside from his own high caloric teleports, he can also do it by electrical shock... So he gets to taze himself or joy buzzer or a violet wand, that's going to be loads of fun.

"Rashid. Wasn't he the islamic hero from back in 9/11 who could turn himself into sand? I'm a ghost...Tom Fan, Phan-tom. Cute. Let's just hope they never pin the goth kid for being the ghost of an arabic assassin... Problem, I don't know Krav Maga or speak ANY middle-eastern dialect, I only know American, French, Japanese. The 'misfits' is the current name for a group of student's who's personal mission is to provide relief and protection for Minorities and those who would be picked on. They are staunch supporters of the LGBT community and were one of the first ones to protect middle eastern students as well as those mistaken for such from hate crimes.

Thomas has been a member as early as a card-carrying pagan freshman and has spent the last 4 years trying to help protect others. As the older students graduate, he has now become the 'president' of the club and is looking for his replacement at the end of the year
