Maximilian took a small step back, knowing full well the advantage in range he had. He turned his head to the side, putting down the visor of his helmet, hiding his face. "Very well then." Maximilian retorted, voice muffled behind his helmet. With a flick of his wrists, the sword was swung slight ways back lifted upward so that Maximilian's chest and face were still covered by his arms. He stepped just close enough so that the first half foot of the blade could make contact with his opponent.

Maximilian dropped the blade atop his opponent. "Have at you!" Maximilian declared just before his opponent could react to his blade. It was aimed toward his head with more intent to knock off Zande's mask than anything else.
What the hell is this Skyrim shit? A zweihander is an evolution of the longsword that happens to be really long.

You never elaborated your knife in your character sheet, but I guess you can use it as described.
The mercenary looked back with a quizzical stare. "Frankly my dear, I'm not quite familiar with that word." he circled around the man, swinging his sword in a threatening manner, but without the intent to actually cut his foe.

"I can't hand you my sword. You don't look quite fit enough to carry it, especially not with that garish armor on. If you would be so kind, I can bring you back into the village. Perhaps we can share in a drink of grape?"
"And ooga booga to you too." Maximilian retorted. Lazily, he tilted his head to the left side and allowed his sword to fall into his left hand, his shoulder pushing the blade off itself. He rotated his shoulders as if to warm up and kicked his legs out. The blade was held out in front of him, both hands on the main grip of the zweihander. Maximilian's face appeared more annoyed than anything else.

"You look a bit too dark for a saracen and your accent's all wrong. My. You must be a man of Afric! I've seen one or two as mercenaries but never of your... stature. Your armor has no style though- too many bits and pieces sticking out. Why bother wearing a mask? All your kind look alike anyways." the mercenary babbled.
I have been so sick lately that I'm surprised I didn't wake up in the hospital, I have been on auto pilot with how god damn sick I was. I still am but at least I'm not in a foggy almost sleep-like-state.

God damn, I'm gonna get caught back up on my Roleplays, but you don't understand how much fluid I've needed just to not die. I'm glad I bought an obscene amount of gatorade, otherwise I might straight up have died.

IVs aren't that hard to set up; Especially now that you can get needle catheters with one way valves. It shouldn't be too hard to set up an IV line on yourself, start up some saline, and push fluids into yourself. If there are little air bubbles in the IV tubing, don't worry about it. You'd need maybe the entire length of the tube before experiencing a really bad air embolism. Otherwise, the little bubbles just get dissolved in your blood stream.
The town was not far away. It was roughly an hour, maybe two since he had stepped off to meander about the beach. Maximilian had been in town for perhaps three days. There, he was taking leave; a well earned vacation he had paid for using the money he earned as a mercenary. Though it had been half a year since Maximilian had seen battle, a part of his heart and mind still dwelt on the events. After all, he had fought on the front lines and seen many scenes which he was certainly not prepared for. It was only natural he had felt a bit nostalgic.

"Ah. You'll get over it." he told himself. Though he wasn't in battle, he still carried his two weapons. His primary arm, a long sword almost as tall as its wielder, was carried in Maximilian's right hand, the blade rested gently against the clothes over his shoulder. Though he was not expecting battle, Maximilian was fully dressed in the same armor he had worn as a mercenary. He felt that he had grown used to it. It was comfortable to him.
Maximilian "Max the Crass" Steinberg
Height and Weight: 5'4" 160 lbs
Aged: 22
Occupation: Mercenary

Appearance: Maximilian appears a man of short stature with a far bigger attitude. He has a thick, stocky, muscular frame though draped in several layers of thick armor. His armor is covered in clothes designs primarily for aesthetics though also for convenience. He wears a loose undercoat of thick, white wool just over his armor, covering it from his waist to his neck, to his wrists. A halter-top-like piece covers his torso which ends in a knot keeping the piece secure and itself kept in place by a ring extruding from his steel armor. Over that, he wears what appears to be a brown, fur trench coat. The buttons are undone and the sleeves rolled up. Covering the armor on his forearms along with the white undercoat, is a blue-dyed sleeve cut intricately along its length is tied to his overcoat. His armor extends into a 12-inch long, ornate codpiece which curved upward at the tip. Strung up by suspenders and anchored to the same ring as his halter top are a pair of gold-dyed shorts attached to blue sleeves matching those covering his forearms, extending from over his knee down into his steel-toed, leather boots.

Equipment:

Weaponry:
Hildigunnr - A five foot long zweihander with a long, straight, steel blade. The primary hilt wrapped in several layers of leather for comfort. The main cross guard extends five inches from the sword at either side, built from thick steel. The secondary handle is roughly six inches long to accommodate one hand. The secondary hilt juts out from the blade only an inch and a half with a sharp point pointing outward. The pommel is a steel ball structure threaded onto the hilt keeping the primary cross guard and handle in place. It is inlaid with five, sharp pieces of obsidian arranged in a pentagon along the tip of the pommel obviously used for striking.
Freya - An arm-length rapier with an undulating-styled blade. It features a cup hilt and a wooden grip carved to be comfortable for a wearer with or without gauntlets. The pommel is constructed primarily from steel starting from where it begins screwing onto the tang. However, it is capped with a piece of silver in which a piece of flint was molded into. Its leather sheathe is tied to Maximilian's belt.

Armor:
Maximilian's armor is composed of several layers and pieces. In colder weather, his base layer is a layered wool one-piece designed to trap heat. In warmer weather, he wears a much thinner, silk shirt just enough to cover his body from wrists to neck to ankles. He wears linen socks in warm weather and wool socks in cold weather. He wears a cloth sweatband just before his hairline which acts to both keep his helmet on, and to keep sweat from getting onto it.

His secondary layer is composed of a chain mail shirt which covers his entire upper body to his neck, a chain coif covering the rest of his upper body, and chain sleeves which cover his legs designed to fit snugly over them. The third layer of his armor is steel plate armor. It consists of a chest piece, a knight's visor, a piece covering his upper arms, steel gauntlets covering his hands and forearms, and steel chaps covering the entirety of his legs. The joints of the armor feature cracks which, in addition to providing movement, also provide a form of insulation to keep Maximilian cool in the heat of battle.

Attached to his chest armor on a similarly sturdy steel hinge is his lengthy codpiece and the most ornate part of his armor. The base up to six inches down the shaft depicts men tilling fields, a picture stamped into the metal. The next three inches are inlaid gold plates crafted into a floral pattern. The very last part is the tip, attached to the rest of the codpiece with a hinge. The hinge allows one to open up the codpiece from the tip. The very bottom can be tucked into Maximilian's shorts, then untucked and lifted up in case of emergency.

Though the palms of his gauntlets are leather to provide better dexterity, the tip of his middle finger is constructed of a special lighting steel made specially to be struck against the flint on the hilt of Maximilian's sword Freya.

Miscellanea:
Wine: Maximilian keeps a casket of wine inside his codpiece, the bottle just big enough to fit inside. Pieces of cloth are stuffed into the codpiece in order to keep the bottle in place. A corkscrew is attached to the bottle's cork cap, extending out of the tip of the codpiece.

Olive Oil: A leather skin filled with olive oil. Maximilian keeps it attached to his belt, opposite the side of his Freya.

Physical Prowess:
He can bench press over 200 pounds, squat over 400 pounds, and deadlift over 400 pounds. He can run two miles in under fourteen minutes. In spite of his stature and built, Maximilian is surprisingly athletic and capable of doing these physical feats in full armor.
@Doc Doctor That's fine then. How to we start?
So the environment is just there to look good?
How much open area is there? How tall is the cliff? What's the ground made of? What time is it? What plants are around? What sort of considerations need to be made for wild life?
