@frapet All finished with my edits! I think the character is done now, and I made the requested changes and clarifications. It should be interesting to see how his relationship with the doctor plays out!

Right, here's me. If there's any issues, please let me know and I'll fix them right away!
I am absolutely interested in this RP, and I like the idea of using the EotE mechanics for random narratives! One question though; would we be able to play Force-sensitive characters, provided they don't know about their potential at first, and it manifests mainly in random events around them?

(Also, I've never actually used EotE before, so I might be a bit slow to pick it up.)

Name: Jessica Beadle
Alias: Lightning Bug
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Occupation: College student
Family: Gerald Beadle (Father), Susanne Beadle (Mother)
Personality: Jessie lives for the good times in life, endeavoring to make the most of every day. If she can go to bed happy and exhausted, she considers the day a success, no matter what happened elsewhere. family is very important to her, and Jessie loves to see a smile on her parents faces.

Jessie hates hardships and too much challenge, a personality flaw that led her to taking classes where her Variant powers could make the courseload easier. She tends to hop around from hobby to hobby once she gets the basics down, but before it ever gets too hard. The one exception is her love of music, which she listens to near-constantly.

Notoriety: Jessica Beadle: Unknown

Lightning Bug: Wanted

Class/Level: Class 6 (Sub-Classes 2 & 3), Yellow
Powers/Abilities: Electrical manipulation/Generation.

Jessie is able to generate electricity and unleash it at various levels, from a small static shock up to a powerful burst of lightning. She is also innately attuned to electrical flows, and can follow a current to its destination without tracing the wires.

Teleportation.

Jessie is able to travel instantaneously from one point to another, so long as she can see her destination. She is unable to teleport to a location on a screen or in a picture, only a real location within her range of vision.

Mild Technopathy

Jessie has an innate understanding of technological and computer systems. She is able to quickly understand nearly every system she comes across, and can find its weak spots with little effort.

Other Skills: Jessie enjoys tinkering with small gadgets, creating small but complex machines.
Equipment: Night-vision goggles, gerry-rigged charging port for her music player.

Bio: Jessie's story really begins with her father, a geneticist formerly working for the organization that became NOVA. He discovered the likelyhood that the Variant gene was hereditary, and not necessarily a random mutation as had been thought previously. He posited an unpopular opinion that the Variants were simply the next stage in human evolution and should be encouraged, not regulated. This opinion caused him to lose his position and have his doctorate stripped from him. Disgraced and ashamed, Gerald moved his small family to New Haven, where he and his wife eventually opened up a florist shop. When Jessie began to exhibit Variant abilities at a young age, her father was delighted and encouraged her to explore her abilities to their fullest.

Gerald taught his daughter Jessie that, because of her powers, the world was her oyster. Everything she wanted was within her grasp. Even thought many people would hate and fear her because she was different, he taught her that the Variants would win in the end. Because of this mindset, Jessie believes that Variants are better than the rest of the population, and should be able to do whatever they want. The laws regarding registration and regulation infuriate her, which is why she has worked to keep her identity hidden for so long.

Jessie has known hard times, as her family was not wealthy or particularly well-off, despite the shop her parents ran. It was while looking into college though, that Jessie had her first brush with the law. Realizing that she would never be able to afford the education she wanted and her parents said she deserved, Jessie put on a mask and robbed a bank. Though she only got away with a few thousand dollars, it was enough to put up as collateral for a student loan; and enough to give her an idea for where to get more cash when things got tough.

Even though Jessie breaks the law at a whim, considers most other people to be beneath her, and has little empathy for those she doesn't know, the girl still has some morals. She refuses to use her powers lethally, having no desire to become a murderer. She tries not to hurt people too much, leaving obviously sentimental things alone when rooting through safety-deposit boxes and the like. Above all, she does what she does for fun and money, not for fear or hate. Jessie has had a couple close encounters with the NHPD, but has so far managed to avoid being caught.

I'm interested for sure!
Roka Zale

Roka nodded and smiled, though the grin faded as he saw the Republic transports come into view and the gathered Jedi start loading into the shuttles. "I think we could either join up with their mothership once we reach orbit, or even keep apart and go to Taris on our own. My ship is equipped with a hyperdrive, and is quite fast, we may even arrive before they do." He said, starting off in the direction of his ship, docked at a hanger not far from the Temple. "Though we can make that decision in the air, I'm quite uncaring as to the method of our arrival, other than me having my ship at the end of this."

After a moments walk, the pair came to the hanger, a line of ships and hovercars designed for spaceflight or city flying. Heading down the line, Roka stopped in front of a small cargo ship, kept practically pristine with the name STEADFAST painted in a bold purple along the side. "Here she is, friend." He said, the pride obvious in his voice. "More of a home than the Temple to me most days." After paying the attendant for the time parked, Roka and Damar boarded the ship.

At the first chance he got, Roka took off his oppressive outer robe and tossed it to the side, his Force-assisted aim allowing him to land it on a hanger near the door. It was followed by the lighter tan robes underneath, leaving Roka in his street clothes, the ones designed to help him blend into a crowd instead of marking him as a Jedi. A sharp observer would also note that Roka didn't seem to carry his lightsaber on him anywhere. "Apologies for that brother, but I felt the need to get more comfortable, those robes have always felt heavy. There are quarters down that hall, mess area and common space through there, and cockpit just up ahead. Feel free to take the pilots seat, but don't touch anything unless I ask you to, she can be a handful at time. I'm going to get clearance for launch, feel free to do whatever you need."

@Zeroth
Sorry about that guys, I had an emergency that took me away for a few days, I'm back now though.
Kovinth Kai stood outside the tavern, squinting at the sign and all the unfamiliar sights. Even with as much time spent in Ravnica and away from Tarkir, places with buildings and streets still baffled him sometimes. He recalled his accidental arrival on this plane, simply searching for new places to explore. His first flight with a local, weak-willed Drake had given him an idea of the landscape. Dark and dreary, towns and cities, monsters and men. Overall, he would describe the place as somewhat fetid. But the call had gone out, and this plane had dragons on it somewhere. He'd need the coin to stay and find them. All the allies he could find in all the planes would help in his travels.

Shrugging off his thoughts as he did the physical connections to the worlds he visited, Kovinth entered the bar, sitting at a chair near the door and catching the barkeeps eye. "Black Mead." He said quietly, adjusting the belt of his robes to sit more comfortably. "The winds are warm and hot, like the breath of a dragon." He said, making eye contact as his drink arrived. The barkeep grunted and pulled out a key and note, passing them along with the mug.

"You're late."

"Yes, I know. As I said, the winds." Kovinth said, taking the offered objects and following the note to the back room. He sighed as he heard voices already, he'd likely missed the first part of this meeting. Kovinth unlocked the door and slipped inside, sipping from his mug as he locked the door again. "Hm, coin." He said, eyeing the bag on the table. "I like the look of that. I assume we're killing someone in exchange? I'll be filled in later, I'm sure."
