The Goddess' War (A Rebellion of Avenase prequel) [Closed RP]

Alright, everyone involved already knows what this will be about and why it's being done. I'll throw up the CS template along with information on the twelve countries existing in this time period. I'll also throw out a little info on where we'll be starting everyone off. This goes without saying, but none of the characters in this RP will be in the next one, due to the couple thousand year difference. Also, our characters know each other, some to a deeper degree than others. Magic, while abundant and flowing everywhere, is not really advanced yet. The discovery of the Destructive and Creation Aspects of magic have yet to happen. Doria's inhabitants worship the Goddess Eden, Creator of Life. The Goddess Ultima has yet to be known to Dorians as a Goddess, aside from those who can hear her voice. Currently, there are three empires in Doria. The first is the Avenasian Empire, second largest empire and country in the world. The second is the Harugian Empire, the largest country in the world, but third largest empire. The third empire is the Iridian Empire, Third largest country in the world, but the largest empire. Their influence spreads through each country, and they control the majority of the trade routes between them all.

The remaining smaller, non-imperialistic, nine countries are as follows: Tormin, Zotak, Uduri, Loriz, Isla, Peram, Gozag, Fallgon and Yaxz.

While there is no actual difference regarding magic and opportunities in any countries, races however tend to be found in greater numbers in relation to their living preferences. Tormin, Avenase, and Isla are known mostly to have humans and anthro-dragons as their dominant races. Zotak and Haruga are known to be the homes of Ronso and other cold resistant races, though Haruga has a larger amount of Ronso due to the abundance of mountainous terrain. Yaxz and Uduri are known to have forest dwellers and jungle dwellers, as most of the terrain is made up of forests and jungles. Fallgon, Loriz, Peram and Gozag have no particular dominant race, each country is perfect for all races to dwell. At this time, Doria has never known war, so everyone is at peace with everyone else. All that is about to change because of one man's desires.

Alright, so, just a bit of info so you all know where we'll be starting. Keep in mind everyone will be together at the start, so try and work in how your character wound up with the others. We'll be starting just outside of the small fishing town of Moro Zera, which everyone already knows will become Tormin's capital in the future. My character has led everyone to a specific place, following the voice of who he originally believes to be Eden. Upon arriving at their destination, the group begins to preform a ritual, only to have it backfire and cause an explosion, throwing everyone away from a massive black portal. We begin just as everyone is coming to.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that Ayleth, but I'm sure everyone understands. Things happen beyond our control sometimes, I get it. It's too bad you and Raena will be leaving us, but we've enjoyed having you both while it lasted. We'll miss you both. Hopefully things work out for you in the future. :)

Alex simply nodded his head once the man had spoken and assured him his navigation position, "You have my vote then." he said. He leaned back in his chair and continued to listen to the others around him, his attention quickly shifting to the pair of elves that seemed to know each other, now this was interesting. He noticed the female, whose name appeared to be Naevys if he heard correctly, was clearly upset with the male, whom he found out to be Valeas in name. Alex kept his eyes adverted, though his attention was clearly on the most interesting pair so far out of their little group. It's clear they know each other, some way or another, but I feel as if she came here intentionally. Perhaps trying to run away from something? Someone? Perhaps the stupid one calling himself Valeas? I don't blame her if that's the case, he's not exactly bright, he made that quite perfectly clear. But honestly, I wonder where Naevys would've gone if it were just her ship alone and none of us were here? Also makes me wonder if that brashness of hers got her into trouble? Regardless of how dangerous she is or not, she may prove to be a useful ally on the seas. he thought to himself, slowly standing. "That is enough you two. We're not here to stir up the past, we are owners of a ship now, this means we all need to work together. You have an issue with each other, deal with them on your own time, not everyone else's." he said, both hands on the table and leaning forward.

The next member of the group, whom had been entirely silent up until this point, looked around at the other seven owners. My, my, what a lot we have this time around. And already, most are trying to be captain. Not surprising really, who wouldn't want to be at the top? he thought to himself. He reached over to the plate and took a bit of cheese, chewing on it thoughtfully, Can't say I trust the Orcs, they're destructive and we'll likely get killed following them. The Elves, while they understand nature and respect it, they might unintentionally turn the ship into a trade vessel, and I know none of us signed up for that. The Humans, excluding myself, seem to want to be captain, even if they're not being obvious about it. he thought as he finished his piece of cheese. At that moment, the female Elf caught his attention when she pointed at the Human who had spoken previously. Alex recalled the man's words, He makes a solid case, and he also seems to be the most levelheaded one here, excluding myself. My only concern is someone with little to no experience getting the position of navigator, they could wind up leading us in circles. he thought, his eyes finally drifting to the man across from him. He cleared his throat, "You make a good case, sir, a fair proposition if I ever heard one. I will give you my support, however, it comes with a price. If you can ensure that I will have the position of navigator on the ship, then you have my vote. However, don't misunderstand, this has nothing to do with loyalty or anything like that. I am doing what is right for the ship, nothing more, nothing less. And, of course, this deal applies to the others who wish to be captain." he said, looking at all of them again.
