Chaos. Cosmos. Both locked into an eternal conflict of death and rebirth, their champions vying for victory. Time and again, both sides have fallen, and after each battle, the champions rise once more, only to be thrown back into the eternal struggle. A neverending conflict of death and rebirth. This stalemate has proven to be fruitless for both Gods, and as such, things have become even more drastic. Both sides want to win. Both sides want to rest. But it is impossible in this world, for all anyone can do is fight in it. Even should you run, you will only encounter another adversary, then be given no other choice but to fight. However, change is coming. This time the battle will start anew, with new warriors on both sides, all from different worlds. These new warriors will be the ones to shape the course of this battle, and perhaps finally bring an end to the conflict. Could such a thing exist? Could there really be an end to the eternal conflict? The only way to know is When Worlds Collide.
Welcome to the OOC everyone! So, this roleplay is very similar in contrast to Dissidia, in fact, Dissidia was the inspiration behind the creation of the roleplay. For those who haven't played Dissidia, fear not, for it really has no bearing on combat or movement. The only thing you need to be aware of is: Almost all Final Fantasy game realms have been drawn together into a single world. The reason I say almost, is because not every game will be in the roleplay, for one reason or another. Of course, you're probably wondering how the CS will look, since different games have different systems and mechanics. Unlike how it was done previously, I have taken the liberty to create brand new templates; one is generic for your character, the other is game specific. You will be REQUIRED to fill out both a generic template and the game specific template, this way it will be easier for Andae and I to keep track of who has done what. Before I put those up, I guess I should provide a list of which game worlds will be in the roleplay. They are as follows.
Now, you are certainly able to play a character from any of the games listed, or you can create a brand new character that comes from one of those worlds. Do note, that some games have no summons/aeons/espers/etc. Also, games involving certain characters that appear again, but differently(i.e. Yuna, Lightning, Snow, etc.) can only appear in this roleplay as a single individual. There cannot be two Yuna's or Snow's running around. Once the character has been selected and approved from it's respective game world, nobody else may choose that character. So, if Yuna from X is approved, then the character becomes locked out of X-2 character selection. The same is true if Lightning is approved from XIII-2, she is then locked out of selection from XIII. As for summons, there is a unique system I designed for this. Upon entering this new world, your character is given the option of bonding their soul with one summon(the one listed in your CS) in exchange for the ability to summon them at any time. There is a risk to this, as your character starts out weaker than those without a summon, thus making it easier for an enemy to defeat you. There is an upside to this as well, as your summon grows in strength, you do as well. It is entirely possible for a soul summoned character to become stronger than those without summons later on. However, there are restrictions on extremely powerful summons, they will not be appearing in the roleplay. Summons like Bahamut ZERO and Neo Bahamut from VII, Chaos Bahamut from XIII-2. If you list a summon in your CS and we believe it to be too powerful, we will ask you to choose another from the respective game world. And last, but not least, you may choose to fight for Chaos or Cosmos(excluding canon characters, they're already set with their side and cannot be changed.) Appearance: Kito has short blonde hair, wears black sunglasses to hide his unusual dual eye colors, and generally wears a black and purple cloak over his usual clothing. This consists of a black shirt or sweater and a pair of black insulated pants. He also has a birthmark on the back of his left hand in the shape of an eye.
Hometown: Sakura
Personality: Kito is typically cautious of other people, having learned early on in his life that people can be unpredictable at any given moment, especially when they become desperate. However, once he's convinced someone new won't do him harm, he's usually pretty outgoing and friendly. He's loyal, and very protective of both his friends and his Natrelmon.
Relic Description: His relic is a golden ring with a deep purple stone set into it, worn on his right index finger.
Starting Natrelmon: Olena, Sakura
Starting Spell Schools: Invocation, Geomancy
History: Kito was orphaned at the age of fifteen, when his parents left in search of new Natrelmon for their breeding farm. Unfortunately, several months after their departure, news reached Sakura that Kito's parents' bodies were found. Their gear and valuables were nowhere to be found, and the incident was ruled as a robbing turned murder, and eventually the investigation stopped dead due to lack of leads. Kito managed to run the farm for a number of years, learning what he could from his father's journals, with a bit of help from the farm's guard Natrelmon, Olena. Eventually things started to go downhill for him, starting with numerous failed breeding attempts and eggs that never hatched. To make matters worse, one night during a storm, most of the farm's prized Natrelmon escaped back into the wild. When people learned of this, business fell off completely, and Kito was left with no other choice but to sell the farm. During the entire year this all transpired, he had been helped by a young woman named Amelia, whom became his friend.
Using the money he got from the farm, he bought a small house in the rural area of Sakura, where it was only him and Olena for quite awhile. Of course, Amelia came by often to see him, and he was glad for that. However, the day came when she was summoned back home, to Ward. He thought he would never see her again, since the war was over, and there was no danger in Ward anymore. Eventually, Kito gained a fascination with tracking, discovering he was quite good at it. After learning how to track properly, he set out into the outskirts of Sakura to test his skills. It was no surprise that he was able to track down a Sakura Natrelmon, given the fact the cherry blossom trees were part of their natural habitat. After an intense battle, Kito caught the Sakura. It wasn't until later on that he realized how great it felt to battle with Olena by his side, and paired with his tracking skills, he was sure he could become a great breeder in his own right. Of course, he knew he'd have to travel to many places in order to become a great breeder, along with capturing all kinds of Natrelmon to find the best sort of breeds for breeding. It was settled, he was going to set out and be a trainer.

Before you ask, yes, Canon Characters ARE playable. Of course, that doesn't mean you cannot create an Original Character based off a game world, because you can if you choose not to use a Canon. In this RP, you are actually allowed to choose which side you'd like to be on. Chaos or Cosmos, obviously. This one was quite the ball of energy, he couldn't deny it, and she spoke faster than anyone else he knew. Also, her words sounded like they were made up, well, for the most part anyways. By the time the woman stopped talking, Armond was completely confused and unable to answer any of her questions, though luckily Veragwen had helped to give her the answers she sought. He turned his head to Samael as he asked a similar question like Armond did earlier, getting a similar response to the question from Caelyn. After she had spoken, and Mara had joined the rest of them, Armond finally spoke up. "I'm sure you're all very suspicious of me, I mean, a noble from Bale coming all the way out here for one creature? Sure, the creature wasn't of the normal variety, but that's not the point here. From what I've gathered, it seems you've come into contact with a certain individual, and due to my hesitation, Miss Nayash suffered for it. I'm sure you've no doubt heard about the Zeraltus nobles in Deningrad? How their estate was burned to the ground? It's no mere coincidence that my last name is Zeraltus, for I am the only survivor of the mass slaying of my family. I'm also certain you've all heard the rumors how the youngest of the family did the killings? I assure you, they are false accusations, I didn't murder my own family...I'd never do such a monstrous thing." he told them, folding his hands.
He remained silent for a few moments, staring into the fire, "I know who did it though, the man who framed me, he's also the one who stole something of extreme value from my family after killing them all. A long time ago, my family was the first to traverse Death Frontier, before it was settled on by Miss Nayash and her people. My family found only one thing out there that made the dangerous trek worth it, a red gem. It was larger than any gem naturally made, and so, it eventually became a heirloom. It was passed down from generation to generation, father to son, mother to daughter. The cycle continued until a man named Blitz was hired by my father. Several months after being hired, Blitz betrayed my father and my family, killing them all and leaving me alive. He left evidence pointing to me as the murderer, and since I had no allies in Deningrad, I fled to Bale. The King was close friends with my father, and he offered me sanctuary until I was able to clear my name. However, my own sources told me that Blitz gained powers beyond belief, and I do not mean his necromantic powers. He found a way to use the gem. It seems the gem was more than it seemed to be, and after consulting the books I was able to bring with me, I have come to the only logical conclusion. The gem is really a Dragoon Spirit from ancient times. If he's learned to use it, then the only way to beat him is to find the other gems and their respective worthy owners." he finished, looking at each of them.
