As Federation soldier you had a job to do so holding back on the grudges from before was pointless, the group of Fed soldiers already in Easy were in their pods. Everyone was ready, their equipment was checked by Rose herself. If anyone was going to survive this attack, rather assault it would be the Federation. They were picked for a reason, not that the Republicans needed to know the best survive the worst that the world throws at them. The General had some truth to the saying, being like the troopers of old. Rose hated to admit it but being wrong was sometimes a reality for her.

The pod went flying through the air, it was graceful and also calming. She'd done it many times before and it just felt right to be sitting in a pod again, albeit it wasn't her pod just one of the Republicans unused metal vaults. It came down with force and landed swiftly, of course, there was some anti-air fire but luckily she wasn't one to take fire. When the drop cleared the Feds and Republican ODIN troopers exited to fighting. Sadly for Graves it looked like he didn't make it, just a constant reminder of Karma of the battlefield. Rose took cover with other soldiers of both nations, there were injured already. Men cut in half by alien weaponry, was it some kind of plasma bolt or beam who knew but the wounds were devasting.

Rose found herself helping those she could, with minor burns, shrapnel and the sort. However the weaponry employed seemed to leave many men dead, ODIN armor or not the aliens were imposing a challenge even. They had taken worlds in days, so the fight was definitely uphill figuratively and literally. Until Easy regrouped the most the soldiers could do was fight and recover, it ultimately would be the Lieutenant who would - or should lead the company to the objective. If for some reason he was gone, it would be up to Rose. A daunting task none the less.

"I'm loud and I'm proud, I'm Fed and I'm proud mother fucker." The man said, rather the soldier in question who was pulled away by Rose. The soldier, Lead Spacemen Mike Lancaster of Barcallian a mining colony turned into a weapons factory when the Feds decided to exist and hero of the Space Battle of Murtox and a double ace. He was a hot head and some Pub looking shit could and probably would set him off like they just did to him, maybe they thought it was a game a show of force maybe. Even the 'leader' some grim looking bastard, probably some nobody who coulden't do any other job but the fucking army. Probably one of those knuckle draggers with a diploma in 'Weapons of Mass Destruction'. Rose intitally shrugged it off, it was typical that Republicans act out over losing so badly to a bunch of farmers and 'people of low creed'.

She pulled the soldier aside, attempting to reign in the situation. "He's not worth it Lancaster, we're more than them and more than this." Lancaster didn't really listen, still milling about from the stare down of 'men' and most likely plotting revenge. Could be delayed air support, hell even a alien ship could be coming down on that kid and his squad and there'd be nothing a Fed pilot would do to save him or his shit sorry squad in that matter. Despite being forced to work together, due to sweeping choices made by pencil pushing diplomats some would rather see this agreement burn like the ruins of Telconian. Regardless a majority of Feds in these situations continue to persevere in the matter. "Take the higher road." -Cpt. James Putnelli. Rose pondered for a moment why Republicans would already try to burn the fragile bridge between the two nations.

Sadly the thought came to the end when Muster call came, which it came quick and ended shortly after formation. A brief battle briefing was committed by some ODIN General, making references to wars no one really knew about. There wasen't really a feeling of comradiery just uneasyness in the air, the people of 100 years ago didn't fight the threats of today. That's what was really scary, you can't make a comparsion like that. It's just future-shock anyway, no one thought we'd get this far or maybe it was all the stories of aliens being real. It was some weird shit, however Rose found herself preparing for the mission. She was debating trying to meet some new faces but after that stand off in the bunks she decided against it. Hopefully she woulden't anger the apes.

Calm in most situations, Rose has seen combat before as well as traumatic situations. It's part of the job description after all, cutting people and pulling shit out of them also is in the contract. While the nitty gritty of dangerous and deadly situations seems to loom over the group constantly it's Rose's shit humor (and occasional good jokes) that brings the best out of the crew. Even her witt seems to compliment her sometimes brash humor, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. These fucking idiots never know how to agree, so when some Terran or fuckwit comes along to shit on her ideas the whole unit goes to whack. The Story

Some fucking nobody from Telmoni-One - Rose Delmonica was born in the fuckfest that was the twenty-second century. Growing up on a colony was nice, except if you live in the slums. Growing up was not fun, the crime was like bad blood pressure - get it? It practically was a war zone, in the slums yea it was shit but that's how it is in the colony. Telmoni-One isn't shit per say but the good people, the rich people are protected in their city. Looking out her window, Rose always saw the lights of distant city. Living the slums was all some people know, trying to break this some tried to get rich.

You can't get rich without getting your hands dirty.

That's what Rose found herself in, working on. It was fun and all until the security forces came by and sweeped hard for no reason, people died - good people. Saving everyone, criminals too, not anyone could do it you had to have a good skill set and a head on your shoulders. Given, the crazies that run around the slums could do it with their eyes closed yet you can't trust anyone with a twitchy eye and a gun. Why give SECFORCES the trouble, they were the community housing police - the corporate guards. While Rose didn't despise them, she was sympathetic to their shitty job. That just translates to getting out of their way and doing something different. Working at a clinic was cool though, that's how Rose got into medicine and when you work with gun-shot victims you usually work yourself into something bad.

Rebels, insurrectionists they were just getting thrown into the local clinic daily. Security Forces were already in their neck in tickets and arrests. Rebels were just to be killed, saves them the paperwork. Who knows what clicked but working with the rebels seemed like the right thing to do, not financially or anything but it felt right more to say. If they lost, they were terrorists if they won they were heros. In the years to come Rose would become a field medic, not just on Mars but in The Belt. She was training with a cell there, and teaching first aid as well before that cell became a military unit for the Federation.

It was eventful to say the least, the revolution caused the bloodiest Galactic war known to the universe.

So she deployed into it, looking for people to save and a new country to defend.

Why? To pass the time, make money and come back stronger, do your civic duty it's all about unity right? It seemed like a decent job, just don't get your contract looped and stick to your four years. You'll leave with knowledge, training and money once you do, then things will change. People will get their fucking doors kicked in, the bad people will and the new government will do as they always promised they'd do. Clear the corruption, power to the nation and the sorts. It seemed like Mars might be bright red with blood in the near future, although that plan is postponed. Rose was assigned to 1st Mobile Infanteer Division 'Redrock' named after the mountain on Talos III, she was assigned as a combat lifesaver. She's one of the junior members of the company and eventually after clearing from the war, replaced the rank of her NCO (due to an unforseen death). She only briefly was apart of ODIN, this happended on the 7th Assault of New Remlo when Federation forces started using more ODIN forces.

"They threw me into a ragtag unit or something, elite fuckers. I know I'm not the best shot, hell I did okay at the firing range right but some of these guys are hard. Freak, Jolly and Felon are the old guys. They could shoot, I'd like to think I could shoot like them - I'm just the medic but hell sometimes I wish I could just shoot these guys. Assholes, all of them - sometimes, you would think we could get along. We do sometimes, it's just there are bad days. Someone dies light years away and we're blamed, understand? Well let me tell you something..."

July 1st, 2141

Support her squads efforts in maintaining a left flank when pushing into New Remlo, saved her company Sergeant after he was critically injured in the leg. Assisted and moved injured wounded in the fight from the Federation side and moved them to a safe area, survival rate was statistially rated for the battle from 43% to 82% after being moved or saved by a combat life saver. Engaged the enemy when required and helped command the section when Corporal Demascus was KIA.

Outcome: Federation forces held a stalemate and regrouped for a second assault later on, Pfc. Delmonica promoted to Corporal.

Skirmish on Reblok IV
January 29th, 2142

Assisted in preparing a ambush for Republic forces on supply road 'Gold', hid in trees along side squad and prepared to engage the convoy on the road once explosives were laid and exploded on the convoy the squad engaged. Spent most of the fight dealing with two injured, Pfc. Morvo who lost both legs and Pvt. Julip who was blinded by shrapnel. Republic forces called in air support and the forrest was bombed heavily, Federation forces routed.

Outcome: Convoy destroyed, Federation forces rout. Squad at 50% manpower

Space Sortie - Boarding Action - Reblok IV

March 3rd, 2142

Republic forces had sent new space ships to replenish the dwindling space navy outside Reblok IV, Federation forces hyper-jumped into space and began to bombard Republic forces. Cpl. Delmonica attended a boarding party for the Republic captial ship 'Iron Justice', with the shields dropped and a majority of Republic Frigates destoryed and the captial ship being bombed 24 boarding gunships were flown to the Iron Justice, Delmonica's squad was one of the 10 ships to actually make it. Heavy CQC fighting ensured, Delmonica and her squad reach the bridge first and take.

With the encirclement of the planet and the surrounding towns and villages near Jungdon, Federation command sends forces into the city en mass to take to the streets and buildings nearby. Heavy fighting ensures, Delmonica is pinned down most of the fight by machine gun fire and her squad (half now full of green replacements) hunkers down, only hours later is the squad able to move after the Federation forces move building by building . By this time most of the critically injured in Delmonica's team have bled out not having met a doctor.

Outcome: Jungdon falls to Federation Forces.

Defence - Egon II - Strelco City

May 3rd, 2144

Republic ODIN forces assist a infantry force supported by mobile artillery to attack the city of Strelco, Federation forces take heavy losses. Delmonica finds herself on the front lines with her team only to be routed within 30 minutes after ODIN troopers dropping into the city and taking out key stationary and mobile equipment. Federation forces rout from the city and Strelco falls to the Republic.

Outcome: Republic takes Strelco, Sgt. Zergo dies. Cpl. Delmonica promoted to Sergeant. Moved to ODIN Corps.

7th Assault of New Remlo - Starson I
September 11th, 2144

The should never have been a seventh attack on New Remlo, the city itself was built like a fortress. For 3 years it had been hammered by artillery shells, bombings, tunnel attacks, and assaults. All have been repulsed by it's walls, people and Republic forces. Sadly, on September 11th, 2144 this would change as the infantry on the ground had been replenished, new guns rolled in and ODIN on the Feds side finally deployed. Delmonica deployed with her team behind enemy lines and cut off key sectors of supply to the Republican Front lines. They eventually pincered with the 2nd Fed ODIN units on the left flank and opended a break through, the rest was history.

Outcome: The 'Pillaging' of New Remlo, the indoctrination of 500,000 civillians and the '50 Mile March' of 3,000,000 Republican soldiers to Federation POW Camp KRAKO.
