@corrosive Also have a question: Can vampires survive for long periods without feeding. For example, say a vampire was sealed away for many years, would they die of thirst, go into a kind of dormant state between life and death, or just go blood-mad?

My character idea is a Vampire who likes playing with people and doesn't quite take the harmonious living laws, if such exists, seriously. A Chaotic Neutral type with a slight lean towards occasional Evil. Not necessarily a villain, but she does sometimes do bad things because it amuses her.

The Witcher Character

Appearance:


Backstory: Born in Lyria to a woodcutter's wife, Mirian was a violent young girl, always brawling with other children and getting into trouble. Becoming sick and tired of her antics, Mirian's father decided to have her married off to a neighbor lad, ensuring that she'd be the problem of his family from then on. Understandably upset with this turn of events, Mirian ran away in a fit of petulant anger, running off into the woods. She wandered through the woods for a few hours before rain forced her to take shelter in a cave, a cave that turned out to be a Nekker lair.

Trapped by the monsters, Mirian was moments away from being torn apart when she was saved by the timely appearance of a Witcher, who had been tracking the Nekkers. The Witcher saved Mirian and returned her to her father, despite her objections. But when the Witcher demanded payment the poor woodcutter, having nothing of any value to give, offered him Mirian. To the surprise of both Mirian and her father, the Witcher accepted the offer and took the girl away to Kaer Morhen.

At Kaer Morhen, Mirian was subjected to unforgiving training and excruciating mutations, almost losing her mind twice and almost dying more times than she could count, before finally passing her final trials and earning her Wolf Medallion. Forever changed, she began her life as a Witcher of the Wolf School. Her career was a relatively successful one, only ever failing to complete one contract, when she was almost killed by a Griffon and lost her left eye.
