|In Depth Appearance|Tenkai wears the traditional southern water tribe attire along with a few modifications to make the style unique, and to her liking. Her eyes are silver, and under her clothing she wears a summer attire that includes a well made vest that's under the family top that's specifically made for the Mizuo family. With the top she wears dark blue sleeves that have been made with special fabric to enforce the fabric in case she was to be in close combat with weapons. Along with the top are gray-ish brown trousers that aren't part of the actual wear along with the shoes, but because they are her favorite (and comfortable) trousers she's decided to wear them anyway. As for physical build Tenkai has quite a bit of muscle to her despite the fact that she's weak in martial arts, and stands at 5'4 with a weight of 132 lbs.

Tenkai has the will to be able to venture out into new terrain to be able to experience life outside of the Water tribe. To be able to venture means one should be willing to face danger, and that is exactly what she has been able to conquer; quite easily if she did say so herself. Experiencing the world not through her peoples eyes, but through the eyes of curiosity has gotten her to be quite open-minded though she does have a small streak of stubbornness that pops in from time to time. Tenkai tends to be more silly, and like water flows through life without wondering if what she is doing is wrong. Because of this Tenkai has the problem of understanding that there are limits/boundaries that one must not cross at times which has gotten her into more trouble than usual, but nonetheless will never turn back once something is done.
On the flipside Tenkai has a small insecurity due to the fact that she doesn't act, or look like the proper female. Because she doesn't mind a scar, or a scratch here and there as well as doesn't give much care to her wear she tends to be quite shy at first. That is to say, at first. After the general formalities Tenkai doesn't care what you think of her after that.
Because she
is a water bender Tenkai has become a bit less empathetic, and more hot-headed to the non-benders due to the fact that all they do is complain yet do nothing to make up for their lack of bending. That is, except try to make those who can bend feel bad.

|History|Tenkai was born in the southern water tribe to a renowned family. She was born to a father who wanted nothing to do with her due to the fact that she was a girl no mater if she was able to bend. Because of this Tenkai spent most of her days being reckless with her bending as well as observing the male benders. she observed them to be able to gain some insight as to how to be able to use bending as and offense, and a defense. Despite being a girl Tenkai was able to learn from the male warriors, and use their techniques to get a better insight as to how bending worked. Even if she was getting stronger her father was still not able to acknowledge her progress at the age of 9. Why this was a problem was beyond Tenkai, but it was expected since her father was known to be merciless, and aggressive; as a general, and as a father. Unlike her father her mother was a kind, carefree, and a loving woman who gave her all the love she'd ever need in the world. Not only that, but she also knew how to fight without bending, so she was able to give Tenkai a few pointers. She was all Tenkai needed in the world to be able to become stronger, and to be able to prove to her father that even if she was a girl that she was able to do what a male could do with bending.
At the age of 10 was when her mother had died of an illness. She was to live with her father who at that point grew tired of her barbaric actions, and would subdue her to strict classes that included healing, etiquette, and basics to strengthen knowledge. She was to never use her bending in public other than when it was required to heal, and if she was to ever act out then he would do what he could to make sure she understood the true meaning of punishment. For a time this had worked yet she still held on to a part of her that wanted to know more about how to use her abilities.
One day, as she was passing his office to leave for a session she had overheard her father mention the fire nation, and how it would be difficult to take it over. That intrigued Tenkai, so she had stood outside of the door to listen in on what was going on. By the end of it she had found out that the water tribe was training more men, and woman than usual for the sole purpose of using their powers to be able to get rid of the Avatar, and expand their territory. Tenkai had a gut feeling that it wasn't peaceful, and that the chief as well as her father were using their bending powers to hurt others. Then and there Tenkai had a decision to either leave, or stay while her father would become a crucial person in the "expansion".
After she left the southern tribe Tenkai spent time traveling to be able to see exactly what the water tribe was doing that they weren't telling their own people. Along the way she would practice the bending she already knew, and look for the avatar. After all, if her own father was trying to look for the avatar then he must be the key to stop her people from becoming murderers.
|Extra|Tenkai is a water bender, and doesn't like to hide it because she believes that no matter what kind of bender someone is they should always be proud to be able to bend. Even if she is a southern tribe member she holds no resentment towards it even if they are the ones causing the havoc around the world. She sees it as not liking your tribe doesn't mean you have to also dislike your bending.
