'Tis a meme, my friend.

Jet fuel can melt metal but its got nothing on those dank memes.
Jet fuel can't melt steel beams.

Jet fuel burns at over 3000 degrees. More than enough to melt metal.
School is not just about missions. You have to handle the academics too.

I think it might be time to move things along to the end of the mission.

If I'm being honest my interest in this is kind of wavering a bit. I really love my character the dynamic I have going with Johanna is pretty cool as well as most of everyone else's characters too but I feel like we don't have enough structure. It's like a bunch of people in fighters, they'll blow this up, then that, do well for awhile then crash into and board the main ship. Then just hack and slash they're way to the captain.

They're not a whole lot of challenge in that, this feels like a video game that doesn't have great gameplay but you keep playing it for the story, except our story isn't looking all that interesting either. This isn't anyone's fault in particular, I think you're all great RPers and really good writers but I think we need a change of pace.

Can the next job we do be like a search and destroy or some sort of contract that requires us to keep a low profile and not draw attention like maybe appropriating something valuable off a planet or infiltrating a government organization to retrieve some information. Something where simply shooting everyone isn't an option?
So like a RWBY food fight were all the food is hard as rocks and perfect for battling with? In that case I demand a six foot begat and two six inch celery sticks. THIS IS WAR!
Sapphire Rode - Deli N'Doul

Sapphire glanced at the blue haired kid when he spoke about not being able to pay for everyone. She raised an eyebrow "Were you expecting to?" she asked. He looked like someone had just released him from an interrogation chamber. His brow covered in sweet, a look of relief on his face and a drink in his hand. The obvious conclusion was that he'd offered to cover the tab expecting a smaller group of people and became increasingly worried about his finances as more people joined the group.

Sapphire tried to imagine what that was like. Of course had she wanted to the azure haired girl could easily have covered the cost of food for everyone at the table and anyone else that cared to join but Sapphire didn't particularly want to flaunt her family's wealth. She'd been lucky up till now that no one had recognized her father's last name. He'd been a hero in the faunus wars years earlier and a fairly influential hunter since then. Sapphire was just glad no one had connected her surname with that of Janus Rode. Her family was not a topic she particularly cared to discuss. Besides it wasn't as though just cause she was well off Sapphire bought whatever she wanted. She tried to use as little of her family's money as she could, school supplies, weapons and material. The things she needed not those that she wanted.

Sapphire listened as Cobalt addressed Oswald's team. She thought they were called Codex now but keeping track of team names at Beacon was difficult with all the recent drop outs. As he talked about how he was going to make the team proud and would be a good member Sapphire couldn't help but chime in. The whole thing was so... sickeningly sweet. "Can't fault you for enthusiasm. Could use some more restraint and tact and perhaps a touch of caution." After this Sapphire took a sip from her drink. Perhaps she wasn't the best person to talk about tact but someone had to keep everyone grounded.
So there was a guy with cerulean hair, another male sporting armor, a redhead with quite the interesting hat, and lastly a cat faunus with viridescent eyes.

I finally got around to reading this. Sapphire's there as well.

I realize there was some confusion about who was going to the cafe or the deli but I edited by earlier post to say that she looked around the caf, couldn't find Gren and then checked the deli. Anyways she's also there.
Tales of the Abyss had an anime? I only got through like a third of the game.
The plan basically was to have everyone make a set of trading cards for their characters. I was thinking like 5 or so for your character and I would judge based on how well you represented the character and their moves and what not.

I had this site ready to share and was going to walk you through the basics in the first post. That said if people had other games they would rather do it in(Magic, Pokemon, etc) I was also open to broadening the contest up for those. Yugioh is just the one I know best. Obviously things like having a picture wouldn't be required for the character one since I know quite a few of you lack one.

You would then have to explain the basics of Yugioh, Magic and Pokemon so that everyone could understand the expectations of any sort of card they created. I played the Pokemon Trading Card game once a long long time ago but other than that I have little experience with card games of this nature. I'm also not very good at editing images, even if it is just adding text and images.

It's a really interesting approach for a contest but I'd much prefer a character/item/weapon/organization creation contest or a writing prompt. I'm more skill at those.
It's the miracle of teenage emotions. Random, nonsensical, and immature. Standard fare.

Just never met anyone who could meet someone, become friends, what looks like fall in love and have they're first fight/broken heart in the space of half an hour. Then again my experience with relationships is rather limited. I'm not exactly gifted with social graces.
