Current It's been a while since I roleplay'ed. With filing for unemployment, a lot of free time has opened up. I hope I can join despite the rep sheet I have for being inactive for some time.

Ed raised a single eyebrow when he noticed the ghost pokemon appear before the professor. He looked behind his shoulder to see Crow nesting on his back. ”And I thought you sleeping on my back was trouble…” Ed though to himself.
He whispered behind him as to keep from the professor’s ears. “I feel bad for whoever is that pokemon’s owner.” As soon as he had said this, one of the trainers behind him spoke up. Edward had no idea and he was certain this was going to get awkward. “My bad,” he apologized the best he could.

The trainer turned around and stopped commenting in order to not sound like a jerk.

The professor’s eyes widen and he stepped back in defense. “Ooh!” He got spooked by the ghost pokemon. Professor Pine grabbed a white cloth from his lab jacket and wiped his sweaty brow. “Excuse me, I have studied ghost pokemon before, but I never met one so up close and friendly,” he chuckled.

“I’m not that young so the smallest things do raise my heart beat,” he joked. He stepped aside to see the other trainers behind the Gengar. “The final evolved form of Ghastly; that is very impressive, indeed.” He clapped twice in effort to whoever owned the Gengar.

“Now then, I’ll begin with the basics. This is a different region so you will need a different device. Your old poke’dex might be obsolete, or if you don’t have one, then you are in luck. You all seem to have pokemon so you all have an idea of what a pokedex is already. That saves us about twenty minutes…” He said tapping his watch.

His assistant laid some devices onto her desk. The professor waved his hand behind himself. “I have two models to choose from. I have the classic, crimson fold-up for the ones that want that taste of nostalgia. It is a lot slimmer than its previous predecessor.” Professor Pine coughed and pointed to the other version,

“Then I have the black slim pokedex; compared to the crimson version, it is smaller and all the rage with the youngsters. Both systems have their own differences, but the important qualities are generally the same. These devices will be useful for your journey as a researcher, breeder, or even a trainer. I don’t think I am forgetting anything else…” The professor tapped his chin.

“If it's a researcher you'll want to be, travel this region and you'll be certain to fill up your poke'dex. Just keep an eyeful as you could miss a lot. Now a trainer is a different story. There are gyms located across this region. I'm sure you're quite well known about badges right? The first badge you should go after is the Donnybrook badge, located in Shellville which is right past Cloverhill. Of course, you need to train your pokemon and capture some wild ones before you take down a gym leader. After that, you could be enlisted in the tournament."

Manny Lane

It's Showtime...

Manny sipped on his straw and laughed. He played his smile and showed off his pearly whites; he was in a fantastic mood. It wasn't everyday he could company among friends and drink a Mocha Frappe. Cold drinks with his favorite people were among one of his favorite pastimes. He took another sip; Manny listened to his friends chatter and took drinks out of his coffee in between pauses. He wasn't putting much into the conversation since today he decided to just take in the normalcy.

Manny and his friends sat outside the coffee shop under a giant striped umbrella. It was about as cliche as it could become. The only thing missing was a marriage proposal at a nearby table. "Oh my god! Yes, a million times yes!" Manny had thought to soon when in the corner of his eye was a man kneeling down before his girlfriend. The girlfriend was hopping up and down in tears; it was truly something out of "The Notebook."

Manny listened to the woman's cries, the horns blaring in the street, and other people's conversations. He never liked the noise, it was just sound pollution to his ears. But after a while, he has come to enjoy the obnoxious sounds. When having a secret life, it's great to enjoy the simpler things. The hero coughed once he phone had rang a peculiar ringtone. Manny opened up his phone and his smile shrank to a closed one.

It was time for Manny to do his weekly deed; this was to prevent him from getting lazy and selfish. Lying to his friends, he told them it was work and hugged all of them goodbye. He snatched his backpack from under the table and went on his merry way. His companions waved at him as he walked away from the coffee shop. Once he was a good distance away, he slipped into a dark alley way. This way no one can see him become his "other-self." It was still broad daylight so he switched to his light, black jacket. He grabbed his hoodie by the two giant, gaping holes and held it over his head. Instantaneous, antlers popped out of his head and through the holes of the hoodie.

Black Antler

"It's showtime," he muttered as a white mist came from his breath.
@Draconequis

I see you put a lot of work into it and I have nothing to add. It's a really good application. You're accepted.

A briefing of what's happening in the role-play is most of the trainers got out of the boat ride to Toppe and are headed to the "introduction" laboratory center.
@leaves

maybe i can breathe some life into this RP? if you dont mind me joining?

Yeah, no problem! It's a small group roleplay so your input would be significant! You can make an application.
sorry, I've been a bit busy...I think I may have to drop it. I don't have enough time for too many rps.

That's a shame. If this becomes dead, I'll probably revive it again in a month or two. Hope to see you on it's possible revival.

@Ciphra

Hey, Ciphra. I think we lost Hatake.
I'm a stubborn man.

Dragon Rayo's eyes had blinked. He held onto his head for a moment; something had popped up inside his head. It was immediately that he had gained knowledge of certain errands throughout the town. The luchador stepped back and let the information settle. His ears perked once he heard Orion had got the message too.

Rayo was relieved to know Orion got the same information. He had not been entirely trustful towards the guy; there was no way of proving Orion had been telling the truth before so it was just a matter of keeping cautious of him at all times. Luckily, he was part dragon so that's something they could both relate towards.

Rayo scratched his chin. The haunted house quest did look like the best option. Him and Orion could get an apartment which was a major priority. Having a roof over their head's will surely be more comforting than sleeping on rooftops. Rayo's eyes widen, "Mi abuela might have taught me a few things about the supernatural. I'm not sure my punches will be effective...cuz' you know. They are ghosts."

Rayo then cracked his knuckles. "Well, let's do it. I also want to see you in combat, little chico."
@Eklispe

Sorry for the wait; I'm going to put up a quick post.
