Appearance: 

Linus Solis is a laid-back man. His attire mostly shows his care-free attitude. Linus loves to accessorize in order to build up his reputation and his “swag.” He attempts to impress everyone by his designer brand clothes. 
His ears cannot be found as he usually sports earbuds or headphones. Music is regularly blasted with several hardcore genres like rock and metal. He has a lot of different colored ear accessories to match his clothing style. Linus’ hair is dirty blonde and a bit scraggly. It waves off in multiple directions. Individuals would suggest he forgot to comb his hair once he got out of bed, but that simply isn’t the case. Linus constantly wears a beanie or cap to hide his hair. He’s not ashamed to it; the man just really loves his lids. 
The t-shirts that Linus wears are usually from the gothic shop. Or they advertise his favorite rock band logos. Sometimes skulls are planted on the chest to show his edginess. Overall, Linus does an excellent job to look like a delinquent, or in his case, a rock star. 

Personality:

Linus is an outgoing person. He does try to hide behind stern mannerisms in hopes of seeming threatening or cool. The man enjoys fun a bit too much than he would admit. At a young age, he was diagnosed with ADHD which does explain his problem of not being able to sit still. Linus always needs to be on the move and needs to do something. 
    One of his quirks is that he would be kicking his chair or have his knee jump up and down while sitting. It is difficult for him as he does have a tendency to become bored. Linus does create small humor and laugh off most things. He tries to act dumb, but Linus surprises people whenever he joins an intellectual conversation.
    Linus is actually intelligent, but he rather people not find out. He doesn’t need people treating him differently for that reason. He wants people to know his name for other reasons: his music. Linus acts like a rock star and wants people to treat him based on that persona. The man prefers to be loud and charismatic.

Backstory:

Linus had a life that most students wish they had from the start. The boy had a pleasant childhood because he grew up in a wealthy family. His parents had no financial troubles and had everything served on a silver platter. Their status in money and fame had changed their behaviors and hobbies. 
    Linus swears on it that his parents must have been different before they became rich; however, he cannot prove that. The boy indulged on the all of the silliness his parents forced onto him. Linus was planned to be the perfect little boy. Violin lessons and even the best tutors were assigned to ensure he was going to be a prodigy. 
    The boy had no time to play or enjoy the finer things. Even if he did, it was incredibly dull playing by himself. Every moment was a violin recital and home-schooling lessons. It was by a few years that Linus acknowledged his own opinions and self-interests. From getting out the house and visiting a few stores, he knew exactly what he wanted out of life. 
    Linus did not want to play the violin. After discovering the sound of rock and roll in a music store, he wanted nothing more than to become a rock star. The boy wished to stage dive into a roaring crowd shouting his name. Linus then began his career or his lifestyle. He began shopping for new threads and totally changed his behaviors. 
    After a few months, his parents realized the change in Linus. They were not the best of parents thus it took them a while to notice Linus’ behavioral difference from before. Linus’ parents disapproved of his rock star ideology. His father was outraged and tried showing Linus a different lifestyle. 
    It was then that Linus learned the truth of his parents’ success. Their fortune and fame came from being renowned members of the mafia. Most of the luxuries that surrounded Linus were owned by doing horrible deeds. His allowance...dirty money. The boy was confused and hesitated on his answer.
    Linus wished his father would have told him sooner. Maybe then he would have said yes though his father took too long. Linus developed a moral compass and he couldn’t follow his father’s footsteps. As a response, his father became angered and struck his son. The father punched his son multiple times. 
    Linus retaliated with a little of his strength and pushed his father with incredible strength. A force of sound picked up his father and sent him crashing through the wall. The boy’s love for rock and roll had given him the power to become a guitar. It was unnatural and silly...but totally awesome. He didn’t know of the emotion to carry on his shoulders. Was he supposed to be happy? Scared?
    Linus checked the situation and saw his father knocked out. His mother was weeping on a chair in disgust and disappointment. The boy made the best decision he could at that moment. He signed up for DWMA. He needed to run away from his home. Linus did not want to see his family and he knew he could hide at the school. He was an inanimate object and he knew he could pass the test to become enrolled as a student. Linus ran away from his troubles.

Weapon Form Description



Linus’ regular form is a nice, sleek guitar. It doesn’t have many uses save for his basic attacks. The blackness of the instrument does bring about a sense of edginess. The hard surface has a reflective surface demonstrating its shininess. The strings on the guitar are white and do give a hint of color to the musical instrument. 


    Linus’ most useful form is possibly his first form. The guitar magically alters after a sword and deal much more effective damage than his vanilla form. The end manipulates into a sharper point for slicing attacks. The specialty of this form is that it is a balanced weapon though a bit too novice.

    Linus can shift his normal state to resemble a double-edged battle ax. His black sleekness does remain intact, but at the end of the handle are two blades on both sides. The guitar has become a lot heavier and sturdier to close-ranged combat. Too many strikes in Linus’ normal form would make him sick or could damage him internally. Luckily, his user can manipulate him and swing his double ax form relentlessly. It won’t affect him as much. The specialty of this form is to deliver heavy yet slow attacks.

    Linus second guitar form grants him the power to change into a scythe. This form does grant his meister more range and doesn’t need as much strength as the ax form commands. His appearance receives a bit of a red coating at the end. Melee attacks are more effective than Linus’ regular form; however, the scythe does take more skill. Flexible hands and maneuvers are needed to fully use this scythe guitar.  Quick and deadly strikes are this form’s specialty.

Miscellaneous Abilities/Skills:


Soundwaves: 
With a couple notes and strings tucked, Linus emanates forces of sound onto his opponents. They do deliver sound and enough force to stagger a group of foes. The more constant playing, the heavier the sound waves become. One missed note will bring the soundwave back to its original start, just a simple push of loud music.

Laser Lightshow:
The tip of the guitar shoots bright beams of color. The beams themselves are lasers and are a low-damage technique. The upside is the laser light show can be performed from far away.

Soul Tuning:
By tuning the guitar, the meister can tune Linus to fit the soul wave length of their opponents. This could make melee combat more effective and deliver damage straight to the opponent’s soul. 
Meister must know how to tune a guitar and tune the guitar to the opponent’s wave length.

Extra:

Linus has many powers and abilities in his weapon form. Some of them aren’t even unlocked yet. Though how skilled he may be, Linus is incapable if his meister is not skilled at playing guitar. And Linus ain’t no teacher.
