Chief/Cyrus

Cyrus glanced at the chair next to Clara then he looked back at Armend. "well I think the Chief might have left you two something to do." he said pointing at the empty chair. Sitting on the chair was a simple quest paper, hunt 5 ioprey. Cyrus looked up at the darkening sky, "I'd say you got two options on what you can do. You can go out and hunt these ioprey now, albeit it's getting pretty dark. Or you could wait till the morning and head out then. Keep in mind that not all quests are going to be so lenient with their completion time, Monsters don't care about beauty sleep or family dinners. Only reason you got time is because this quest isn't currently a threat. Also the threat level is that high either. So the choice is up to you two. I'll be finishing my soup if you need me." Cyrus then walked off and went back to his soup Great... It's cold... The chief had vanished off to her bed for a nap, the chief didn't really have a proper sleeping schedule.

Clara Baldwin

Clara stood up and watched Cyrus help up Armend. She was indeed happy to see Armend get whooped, but she still wasn't keen on the whole thing anyway but she figured he was being an ass so he got hit. She then looked over at the chair next to her surprised to find a quest paper there instead of the chief, what the? Clara's expression showed her slight shock. She eventually bent over and picked up the paper then looked up at Cyrus as he laid out their options. She thought about it as her head followed Cyrus back into the town hall. She looked over at Armend still a hint of anger stirring around "I think we should wait till morning. some nastier things come out during the night." the anger was not clear in her tone but was hinted at in her expression.

Catherine

Catherine made her way to the ration vendor and got her supplies, she smiled and thanked the vendor as she turned to head back to her home. She loves the feeling of sunlight on her skin due to the lack of light she usually gets. She had heard that there was some interesting broadcast on the radio but she had missed it due to her less than liked status, Aranea had made an impression on a few to many people making life a little tricky sometimes. It's not easy having a split personality especially when it was Aranea. Catherine noticed the sound of the gates opening on her way back home. Suddenly she was filled with ecstasy and had decided to meet this newcomer, at least she hoped it was a newcomer. Please be a newcomer! Please be a newcomer! Please be a newcomer! It's probably just a scavenging team returning from out of town you idiot. Stop being so naive. Catherine slowed slightly but still continued towards the gate, Aranea might be a bitch but she had a point.

Catherine saw unusual activities going on and slowed even more she then spotted a new person leaning on a worn out post and her face lit up. Oh my gosh someone new! Time to make a friend! ... Catherine walked towards the girl trying to look as friendly as a giant spider lady could. "H-hello! Welcome to Pallet Town! I've not seen you here before. A-am I wrong in assuming you're new here? If so I apologise." Catherine then bowed her head trying her hardest to make a good first impression on this possible friend.

Sarah smiled over at Zan. "So, would plants make you feel more at home then?" She said her grin only widening. She really wanted to make Zan happy in particular because she was the one she currently knew the best. "Because I could hook us up with some plants. Get the family to send them over! They'd be here in a few days." Sarah again sat on her bed but this time she pulled out her scroll. Then shook it a little gesturing that she could call for the plants right now.

Sarah was a little to excited to notice Bizz's slightly damp mood "I'll go next!" Sarah boomed as she hopped of her bed then struck a pose "I'm Sarah Corvum! I'm from Vale but I live out in the country! I got three brothers a sister and two parents! I'm 6'6 and besides that I'm pretty uninteresting! Also I love the thrill of combat!" Sarah exclaimed with great enthusiasm. She was happy to have gotten it over quickly, she really didn't think she was interesting at all. She wasn't to happy with that fact but she sort of over acted because she felt she needed to so she could make up for it. She then shook her head slightly "Oh yeah I also got your back! You ever need to talk to someone about anything I'm your girl! I'll help you as best I can!" she wanted to make sure her team new from the very start that she would look out for them. But she wasn't really sure how to make that clear beside just shouting it out loud.

Cyrus/Chief

Cyrus offered Armend a helping hand up and chuckle as well. "Not completely, I saw you analysing me looking for weakness. You'll want to keep doing that. But you forgot something. Just because something is damaged that doesn't mean it's not usable. You'll want to remember that when fighting monsters as well. Because a angry Rathalos isn't going to give you a helping hand when it knocks you on your ass." Cyrus said with a smile. After helping up Armend he rubbed his side and then her right bicep "You got a mean swing that's for sure." Cyrus would then turn to Clara and the now gone Chief. "I'm pretty sure you got a mean swing to. If I remember that night when you socked Charlie." he said with a chuckle.

Clara Baldwin

Clara covered her mouth when she saw Cyrus knock Armend to the floor. She was shocked when he used his broken arm to hit him, she then tilted her head. She hadn't even noticed what Armend was doing, she was very new to this whole fighting thing in general. She then soaked in Cyrus' words and made sure to remember them wounded doesn't mean useless. she then nervously smiled as Cyrus brought up the time she hit Charlie. "Y-yeah..." She laughed nervously.

Chief/Cyrus

Cyrus smirked "What every you say." Cyrus had a pretty good idea of where Armend was coming from, he'd been around and seen almost all there was to see. This entailed dealing with almost every kind of person. Selfish kid princesses, reserved travellers and even a doting young mother or two. So Cyrus despite his profession making him deal with monsters it also made him deal with lot of different people as well. He noticed Armend inspecting him and his grin dissipated again, Armend was studying him for weakness this was a good sign. He knew he'd found one when Armend rushed forward.

Cyrus had a pretty good idea of what his glaring weakness was and he positioned his wounded arm behind him, then Armend started unleashing a flurry of blows. Cyrus knew he couldn't block them all with only one arm so he diverted as many as he could away from his face but in turn took many body shots. Her gritted his teeth, then he smiled the second he managed to divert one of Armend blows and giving himself a brief opening. He then spun around bringing his right arm around clothes-lining him with it. This would be an extremely powerful blow no doubt knocking Armend to the floor.

Sarah smiled at Zan, "Hmm, perhaps some plants might make you fell more like its outside? Perhaps a lot of plants! I'm used to being around plants and animal so if they make you guys uncomfortable I could sleep next to Zan. Or we could move the beds around!" Sarah had an energy around her, she was clearly having trouble not squealing. She went to pick up her bed but after lifting it about a foot of the ground she shook her head and put it back down, "Sorry I almost did it without asking! Do you guys want to move our beds around?" Sarah said with a huge smile before looking at her three teddies They are all so cute! Sarah sat back down on the bed she had tried to pick up.

Cyrus/Chief

Cyrus watched as Armend got low and bolted for him, he watched carefully as Armend started winding up. Cyrus had learnt to read body movements and react be them from a man or monster, he knew what a was coming and he knew that he shouldn't take the hit. Cyrus watched the fist flying towards him and it had come in the direction he had thought he stepped back a fraction and moved his head back a tiny bit. During this motion he got his left arm and went to push Armend from behind his head, he had to wait for Armends fist to be at the right position so he could launch this counter attack. If Armend didn't have any tricks up his sleeve then Cyrus would have simply pushed his head downwards and slightly to the right probably making him stumble in that direction. Cyrus noted that Armend had fought people before and he had decent form.

Cyrus sighed "Look I don't condone violence against your fellow man. But if you really feel it's what you want then I'll accept your challenge." he said with a grin. He then gestured for Clara to take a seat and raised his one fist while positioning his right arm in a more defensive stance. He smiled at the overturning stronger people "I'll take that as a compliment. Cyrus then rolled his left shoulder and nodded "You go first, wouldn't be a good lesson if I flattened you with the first blow now would it?" Cyrus' grin slowly faded as he got ready for combat.

Clara Baldwin

Clara reluctantly took a seat off to the side and rested her head on her fist. She didn't like this, Armend had some strange idea in his head that fighting people proved your worth. Clara herself had hit people before but it was never to prove herself, it was more punching drunken idiots and joking play hits with friends. She was starteld to see that the Chief had somehow snuck up on her. "Oh chief I didn't see you ther-. the chief simply smiled and raised her hand gesturing for Clara to look back at the fight. The chief then took a seat next to Clara and watched as well.
