Cyrus nodded "No problem at all. I got another thing I gotta ask you. Could you please try and cooperate with Clara tomorrow. I know it's no fair that I ask only you, but Clara can be. Stubborn as a Duramboros. If you haven't seen one count yourself lucky. She may hold me in high regard, but that doesn't mean she'll like you if I tell her to. You gotta prove yourself so to speak." Cyrus then pushed away his empty bowl and his tone took on a more intense but not intimidating turn. "I know that right now she might not seem like she deserves anything from you, and honestly she doesn't. But when you're out there on the field and that mutual respect that you cuild now is all you have. That is when you realise how worthwhile it is, and how important it is to be able to cooperate. Believe me when I tell you. You will not get far in this job no, this life. If you cannot cooperate. Cyrus then dropped his tone and smiled. "Sometimes your pride's gotta take a dive if you want to succeed, just ask the Chief of my early days. They were a fiasco..." Cyrus then looked at Armend hoping his words didn't fall on def ears. He didn't know Armend like he knew Clara, that's why he tried talking to him not her.

Sarah choked as Lucas spoke. " I uh... That's not what I mean, I'll reword my bad!" Sarah had slightly heated up. "I mean my semblance is hot. I can heat up my skin to very hot temperatures. And I know from experience that I heat up when I get mad, so if you notice I'm angry please don't touch me. I wouldn't want you guys getting hurt because of me." Sarah sounded quite serious about the last part. Her cheeks went a little pink "I also heat up a little when I am embarrassed or flustered..." She was clearly demonstrating this at the moment, tho she wishes she wasn't. She let Lucas' comments slide because she knew that she kinda messed up. she knew she was plenty hot without her semblance, some boys were just to small minded to appreciate this much woman.

Sarah listed out all the plants then hit the send button. "Request sent!" she then looked down at Lucas and smiled "Exactly! We're a team now. We look out for each other!" Sarah then remembered she didn't talk about her semblance again and smacked her head again. "I almost forgot about my semblance. I'm hot! Like really really hot!" Sarah felt like this could possibly get taken the wrong way, but she only noticed after she said it.

Cyrus chuckled "Well either way what you did was pretty smart. Exploited my weakness of only being able to defend with one arm by attacking rapidly. Tho you were not prepared for that counter attack. You got me good too don't you worry." Cyrus rubbed his side."I've been meaning to ask? Where are ya from? Unless you don't want to. Don't want to force ya into anything." Cyrus was clearly interested in where Armend was from. He had some ideas on where he could be from just by his attitude alone. But there were a few places he could've been from and part of the Abandoned was one of them.

Sarah struck a pose with a giant smile on her face. "That settles it then! We're getting plants! Zan hit me with some names! We'll get a few, maybe 3 or 5. We'll have this place looking good in no time! Sarah then turned to Zan ready to list down any plants she requested. Her face was full of joy. She was so glad to have made new friends, and she was so happy to be at Beacon. She felt her time here was going to be some of the best and most memorable times of her life.

Environment

The sun had started to set and Edon could choose to walk back to the town in slight darkness with almost no risk of attack. Or he could sleep at the camp until morning. Either way he'd need to deliver the steaks before making his choice.

Sarah had forgotten to mention her semblance and she smacked herself in the head. She went to talk but heard Zandrea's suggestion and her face almost exploded. "Oh my god that is perfect! I'm calling them now, this in not a debate! We are growing basil!" She then turned to Zan knelt down and whispered "Do you have other plants you might want? I'll get the basil for sure but I'll just write up a list and message it to my family when we get the ok." She couldn't help but giggle with joy. She had already typed up BASIL in all caps as she sat down next to Zan.

Catherine covered her mouth as she was offered the hand then quickly shot her hand out to complete the handshake. "H-how rude of me. I'm Catherine! P-pleasure to meet you!" inside Catherine was secretly screaming with joy and if Aranea could roll her eyes she would be. She looked up at the guards and was puzzled not to see the boss, but she pushed that thought out of her head and crouched down a little to be a little less imposing. She had noticed Honey's initial reaction and tried her best to look less frightening. She both wanted and didn't want to tell Honey about Aranea but she had only just met the girl, she couldn't just throw information like that out right away. Eck...

Catherine let go of Honey's hand then looked behind her at the rest of the town."I think you're going to love it here! We have a radio and we have a ration vendor! Most of the people here are nice as well!" Catherine didn't mean the last one, but she wanted Honey to like the place. Then she could possibly stay for a while then they could be friends and they could spend time together. God you make me sick to the stomach sometimes... Catherine ignored Aranea and continued smiling at Honey.

Cyrus took Armend over to the table and smiled at him. "We got a place for you to crash your whole stay my friend. Also. Would you like more soup?" Cyrus' smile didn't waver he wanted Armend to feel comfortable before getting to his other more serious topics he was going to bring up. "I didn't hit you to hard did I?" he let out a brief chuckle as he took another sip of his soup. The Chief's snoring could be heard because she'd left her door open, it was a rather strange sound tho not you ordinary snore more like a teapot that was steaming but must quieter. Cyrus shook his head at the sound before refocusing on Armend.

Clara Baldwin

Clara waited for Armend to leave taking his lack of protest as a sing he agreed and would be ready tomorrow. She then walked into the hall and gave the quest paper back to Cyrus with a slight smile. She then simply nodded to him and headed out of the hall, she walked past Armend on her way out the door and headed back home. She didn't spare him a glance or a word.

Cyrus/Chief

Cyrus was sipping his soup when Armend and Clara walked past, he gave a simple nod to Clara and watched her leave then he almost choked on his soup. He quickly got up and ran to the door. "Hey Armend! Get back here! You don't have a place to stay do you!?" his intention was pretty clear after he beckoned Armend to come back into the hall. They had plenty of spare rooms so why not let him stay there? Cyrus also had a slight look of seriousness on his face, he had another motive as well.
