I miss writing. Alot. Journaling is all well and good, but there's something about creative writing. I get excited about it! So, here's to a year of doing what excites me. It's time for a change.

@Drag The technology was the part I was worried about lol. I mean, PCs did exist after a fashion and so did cell phones, but they obviously weren't nearly as advanced as what we have today. Ultimately, it's not a big deal and better to find out now than after the RP starts lol.
@Drag Oh wait, this is set in the 80s? I totally thought we were doing a modern-day type thing lol. I might need to tinker with some things in my CS if that's the case.
@Crosswire@Drag I realized something while I was trying not to fall asleep at work. Do we know how long our characters have been in the New World? Since some of them, like Boogie and Red, own businesses it must've been at least a year or so since the Great Exodus. Did you two have a specific period of time in mind?

And if anyone else wants to discuss possible past encounters or interactions with Boogie just send me a PM.
@Utrax Most definitely.
@Utrax Oh man...I can already tell Mothman and Boogie are going to butt heads. Not only is he mainly active at night, but he's also a magic-user. Should be fun :P

EDIT: Also, though this might be a bit of a stretch, maybe Boogie's shades were the monsters Mothman encountered in Astmona's tower? Terror has visited several different worlds, and, while she didn't go out of her way to conquer them, I know she'd try to track down and remove anyone that might interfere with her feeding. The great mother would definitely qualify. Just a thought.
@Drag@Crosswire You both are awesome, and please understand I'm not at all interested in meta-gaming or trying to make my character overpowered. Every accepted character, from Bambi to Hansel, has a way to deal with the Boogieman. Whether it's light or magic, Boogie is far from invincible. And if she uses her fear sense on a player character I would certainly ask the other player if they want the ability to succeed or fail. I'm not going to automatically assume it works unless there's some kind of extenuating circumstance. I appreciate both of you being willing to compromise, and if you can think of anything in particular you'd like me to change then I'm open to it. The word of the GMs is law, and, as you said, what's important is telling an interesting story. I'll keep tinkering with Boogie's sheet, but I'll move her over to the 'Characters' tab in the meantime.
@Drag Roger that. Honestly, I figured between the light thing and her total inability to resist magic she's not exactly a one Tale army. I'm going to keep tinkering with verbiage and phrasing over the next few days. Also, I did mention a sealed envelope with some of the pictures from the sheet being placed outside Crier's office. Feel free to do with them what you will since I didn't really have any concrete plans for them. Totally up to you and @Crosswire.
@Crosswire @Drag And lo, she is done. No rush on getting back to me about this. I know it's long, and I'm willing to cut whatever you think is too much.
