Geno silently sipped from his glass as the new members entered, introduced themselves, and then proceeded to bicker. Well, some of them anyway. He was surprised that none of them looked to him for an introduction. Even in a well-lit room with now only six people in it, he had managed to not garner any attention from the recruits.

Lee.
"Nessie."
Nora.
Eden.

Lee seemed alright. As for the sparks that flew between the ladies, well, Geno expected as much.

He finished his rum right around the ending of Neisha's rebuttal, and rose from his seat. As he crossed between Brooker and the new members, he notices their eyes on him, as if expecting word from him. He stopped mid pace at this, raised an eyebrow at them, and then turned to Brooker, who was busy with the projector. Geno returned the gaze of Lee and the women, and remained for a long moment. With a shrug, he broke sight with them to deposit his glass into the sink near the far wall, and returned to his original seat. He knew that Brooker would take care of Geno's "introduction."

Can I just say this without sounded like an argumentative person? They're . Of course there is going to be some unconventional ways here. That being said my post will probably be the only one I write that is like what it is.!Besides, Nessie has toys, you have to expect she would try them out on the base when she first arrived.

Nah I didn't want to start an argument or piss people off, just wanted to get a point across because continuity errors have been second only to lack of interest when it comes to killing a rp.
I just want to take the time to say this now before it gets out-of-hand.

Continuity.

Good continuity is probably the most important part of any roleplay, and I'm already seeing minor conflicts in continuity. We have characters already being there when it was clear that Brooker and Geno were the only two people there (and thus skipping the characters meeting eachother). We have people entering in ways where it was clear those methods aren't possible.

Guys, PLEASE really read every word of the posts before yours to make sure you're not doing things or having other character do things in a way such that it creates conflict with what other people wrote those characters to have already done or gone to. And when you finish your post, copy it, refresh the page and check for new posts that happened while you were writing.

Sorry if I seem like a dick, but this kind of stuff really bothers people like me who play High Casual and Advanced.
Geno's exact whereabouts during the idle time between missions was almost never consistent. Often he would scour the streets of the concrete jungle above, searching for new contracts, info or prey. Tonight was a bit different however. Since the genesis of what Brooker liked to call "Thieves Inc," there had never been more than the two of them. That name never grew on Geno, but it wasn't really his concern either.

With tonight being the first night of new recruits, Geno remained within the walls of the guild-home, in spite of his cohort still being oblivious to his presence. He expected as much from Brooker, after all, he did spend most of the day in the fitness hall.

The main chamber of the establishment branches to each of the major sections of the base, and was designed to have a relaxing and social feeling to it, but also doubled as the brief/debrief room, with a drop-down projector system. It would be here that upon returning from his exercise, Brooker would find Geno entering from the kitchen with a short but wide glass of what looked like water. Brooker knew all too well that it was most likely alcohol, and not plain water.

Geno made his way to one of the couches near the edge of the circular arrangement that decorated the center of the room, and nodded to Brooker as he sat facing the projector, glass in hand upon the arm-rest.
I'm ready to start whenever everyone else is
Name: Geno "Mute" Aurelius

Age: 21

Appearance:

Disguise:

Geno's mask is a featureless black with a dull finish to reduce glare/reflecting. Made with thin one-way glass underneath, it allows Geno to see unhindered, while completely hiding the wearer's face.

Skills:
Geno is a master of stealth. He is able to break and enter, hunt, kill, sneak and steal with unmatched prowess. Some would describe him to almost become one with the darkness. He is also proficient at the typical thief professions. However, he does not perform any skills involving vocal ability.

Weaponry:
Geno carries on his person several silent weaponry, including various blades and throwing items, a bow and arrow, and silenced hand-guns. He carries no explosives, heavy or loud weaponry. These weapons are concealed by the cloak he wears when he is out on a mission. (I can make a specified list if needed.)

History:
Throughout his childhood and even into the present, Geno has been a man of no words. Other than his eerie silence, he lived a relatively normal life for the first 8 years. Three months after his 8th birthday, his home was broken into by a burglar, who slew his parents in the resulting confrontation before fleeing the crime-scene. Geno would end up moving often between distant family members until the age of 15, where he decided to run away and try to make his own life.

Needless to say, this did not work out well for him. Geno resorted to petty thievery to get by, with going unnoticed being the most important tool of his trade. At the age of 18, he was picked up by a man named Brooker Conway, who promised him a "better life." At first, Geno thought that Brooker meant an alternative to living in the shadows, but he soon learned that the intent was to not abandon the way of the rogue, but to master it. Together, the two men assembled a team-of-sorts that began to take on larger anf larger jobs.

Other:
Geno was nicknamed "Mute" by the team because he never speaks. It is not known if he is unable to speak or if he chooses to remain silent.

*Hope the bio's ok Helsing, I'll change it if it conflicts with your plans.
do you want me to finish my CS here or on the OOC?

ill do it there
Dear god the interest in just one night!

Ok CS underway. Gunna read the others first so I don't overlap roles.

The way I interpret it, it sounds like we're going to be super-gladiators with gods as our sponsors, so not much time for much character interaction. I am, However, keeping my fingers crossed for some non-combat RP.

Perhaps some world-threatening evil that causes us to ultimately put aside our disputes to stop the threat. Or possibly join it, I can't imagine a game like this banning evil characters.
HEY HELSING LONG TIME NO SEE (please remember me, I have no friends)

So this looks cool, gimme that 2nd-in-command.

Few questions before I make a CS:
-Fantasy level? (none, low, mid, high, etc)
-Era/world-setting?
-Any plot ideas so far?
