To make it fair, you cant just "claim a color" for all of time, espeically if there's more than 4 people signed up for this. The fairest way is to just pick colors before each match, and the guy who's been "hogging" my favorite color needs to let me play that color for once. If multiple people want the same color, you can just take turns playing that color or just roll for it or one of you can just man up for one match or neither of you play that color or whatever. It's like saying "why can't i just be blue team whenever i play Halo?"

Because what if you both want to be the same color? It would be unfair to let you have your way every time.

Also, team colors have no impact on turn order. Even if you're blue team, all players roll for turn initiative.

That's up to you guys, discuss what maps (map) and gametypes you want to play, and discuss what rules you want to apply to them like team size, etc, what colors you wanna play with, and then when you're done just let me know.
