Ahh! That awkward moment when you've spent the whole day talking about stupid stuff with your whole roleplay group, and in the middle of the night after everyone went to bed? A wild idea appears!! >.<

All of a sudden, there's this sharp, stabbing, "whack," feeling shooting through me, and I'm like, "oh shit, just got bit by a spider," right? Throw off the jeans, and a bee crawls out. A f*&@ing bee!

So I'm stepping out for a minute, right? Take off my pajamas, put on real clothes, struggle into my jeans, normal shit. Suddenly I feel something crawling on my thigh, so I swipe crazily at it.

The question says it has to be important to us or the city, so at minimum the entire team would be aware of its existence.

What we do with it... Well, that's up to us, ain't it?

I vote we have it as our version of Alexa. "Hey, Sai, what time is it?" "It is currently six fifteen pm. Have you given any consideration on installing my programming on a Scarborough Enterprises robot?" "That'll be all, Sai,"
@Grey Keep your bugs out of my car, though. It has leather seats. And a drink bar installed. Maybe.

That sounds dangerous. ^^

@Grey@Tengri
Riley's spacecraft is a suit that conforms to her shapeshifting. If there are any passengers, they'll be carried on the outside of the craft.

via Velcro straps? ^^
@Liliya

That's the beauty of it... we actually ARE playing the game right now. These events, the npc's that populate these events, the thoughts and feeling of these characters you all are creating will come back during actual play. I've been taking notes all this time (though the notes are a bit spotty since some of my note taking has been during work hours. :p)

If this was an actual in person game, we would be doing just as you said: Bouncing things off each other. Someone has an idea, someone else may have input, questions are asked, dice rolled to determine what happens, and story gets written because of it.

I know, I was just kidding. ^^ I think we've all bounced a lot off of each other, actually. I know I've talked to everyone in the party at least once about something or another to do with our characters and their relationship with one another. So far as the NPCs go, we have a modest stable (at least, what, five? Six? Miss Blackwood, Lodestar, Gravitron, Felitrix, Nucleus, and Shannon, at the very least).
@JoshieOh yeah, I kinda forgot about the actual dice mechanics that come with this game.

We're playing a game? I thought this was us bouncing ideas for characters off each other. ^^
@Liliya@JoshieYeah, the last thing the adults would do in this situation is, hey kids, you just killed somebody. Isn't that great! After all aftermath, that would be something to keep hidden, especially from Alex since she's the one who actually did the deed.

I completely agree. The EMTs showed up, coded Dragoon, Anne Scarborough and the Guardians swooped in and cleaned it all up, and according to the news, the city, and the Guardians, Dragoon survived her injuries and is alive and well, just in jail out of the public eye (I seriously doubt Super Villains are allowed visitors).
They wished me the best in my recovery, of course, all the while capitalizing on my injuries, vulnerability, and nudity, simultaneously hoping that I had died from my injuries so that they could cover the death of Lodestar’s daughter for some extra publicity, f#$%ing assholes. Of course they speculated whether or not Dragoon would survive her injuries which gave me some intense feelings up and down the spectrum. I mean, I hadn’t thought about her or what had become of her up until that point. Last time I saw her she looked pretty f#$%ing dead, and it was at my hands. Guess I’d just forgotten, what with the whole nuttiness of the ensuing eighteen hours. On the other hand, I didn’t know if I was glad she was alive, but I certainly didn’t want to have been responsible for killing another person, either. Squeezed Andrea’s hand hard enough to hurt her while looking at the picture and reading the article, hadn’t realized until she subconsciously squeaked out a protest. Guess she was just looking out for me and didn’t want to say anything, Andrea’s good to me like that, but I loosened my grip and muttered out an apology anyway. Down at the bottom, with like a hundred thousand likes, was a comment from Felitrix’s official account, the one used for correspondence between her and the Guardians and the newspaper. She had basically said that she was incredibly proud of this burgeoning new team, and that had we not acted the Guardians wouldn’t have been there in time to have prevented Dragoon from causing massive damage to life and property in her, likely successful, attempt to escape.

Beacon: We found signs that this incident was just the start of something bigger. What were the signs?

Besides the obvious (Dragoon will want revenge someday), there is also Doctor Zandervan to consider... as it turns out that Dragoon was 'meant' to raise a ruckus. She diverted attention while Zandervan stole something across town.

Dragoon didn't mean to lose and get apprehened, obviously, but something foul is afoot.

Is Dragoon dead? Because if so, as far as I'm concerned, none of us know it. Anne Scarborough, Felitrix, would have covered it up, if Dragoon is dead, and we did cover it up. My suggestion would be that, though Zondervan's figured it out, according to us and the public at large Dragoon is alive and well, in jail away from the public eye.
<Snipped quote by Liliya>"What does this even mean? Like...I'm gay but not really? Or...I mean, I guess. I'm as gay as a daisy in may, but it's not a defining part of who I am? But really, what?"

I assume she's not closeted, and doesn't refrain from letting the team know that she is gay. Very casually as in not trying to keep it a secret from anyone.
@Hyper Harlequin Well, I don't think we actually have a legit protagonist, but if this was a TV show, I think she'd be the clear favorite. I like the idea that they don't have any particular concrete way of reproduction and, if your going with the mating dance thing we talked about, that if they simply don't find anyone they ever connect with, never choose a partner I mean, they reproduce asexually and basically do a phoenix thing. Their biological clone then begins life anew, grows up, and upon reaching maturity continues looking for a partner. Kinda like Buddhists with reincarnation, except rather than enlightenment they're looking for a partner to create new life with, and that's basically their escape from the lifecycle.

Also, on double dollars; that obviously doesn't have to be a thing, I just didn't know what the currency was properly called, so I went with that.
