Aurtha made her way through the crowd of students piling into the basketball courts of the gym, watching as they all talked amongst each other, or instead, not speaking at all. It was very apparent to see who was an upperclassmen and who is new to the school based on how comfortable they were around each other and how confidently they walk the floors. Aurtha made her way to a seat that was away from the cliques of students, but even the seats around her began to fill with other students. The diversity of the students was very distinct, but even the common cliques of a regular high school seemed to be evident to Aurtha. She was even asked to move over a seat to fit another member of a clique of pretty, prissy, cake-faced makeup wearing girls. Acceptingly, she then attempted at being involved in conversations with them, but became dismissed easily with anything she said.

Surrendering to her continuous failure of making friends, she sat back in her chair, crossed her legs, and waited for the assembly to begin. Once Ms. Gordon came to the stage and began speaking, her interest was peaked, but it became more of a tentative interest once the majority of the content of her speech was reinforcing rules that Aurtha was already aware of or didn't care to understand fully since she assumed she would never go against them.

Once the dean was welcomed to the stage, Aurtha's attention became intrigued once more, lifting her head and gazing more conscientiously to further examine Bruce Wayne's appearance thoroughly. A chill crawled up the skin of her folded arms as his voice boomed in the large room. It was discernible to Aurtha that the Dean had high respects from the student body due to their strict attention they gave him, or perhaps it was that he put fear in their eyes -- Nonetheless, she felt it similarly. Judging from his word selection and his serious, nonchalant image, Aurtha felt the authority he possessed over them, though the majority of the feeling stemmed from previous reasons: that he was revered for his heroic accomplishments, his incredible wealth, his intelligence and knowledge, etc. Aurtha listened to his message to the students carefully before being dismissed by Ms. Gordon.

Aurtha proceeded back to her dorm to drop her folder off, seeming to have continuous reminders of the Dean's first appearance. She had never seen him in person before this, but she, among many, was in awe of his power. In no way did Aurtha ever predict, nor want, to have a relatable future to the Batman, but the thought has now presented itself from an unusual, faint desire of such a renowned reverence that he retains. She never thought her future through -- not enough to have any big ambitions.

Aurtha brushed off his lingering presence.

"Sure!" Aurtha replied hastily to his suggestion, following with a nervous chuckle.

"My name's Richard, by the way," he explained, extending a welcoming hand for a handshake.

"Oh, um," Aurtha awkwardly maneuvers her violin and folder into one hand in order to free her hand to accept his handshake,"Aurtha."

"Anyway," she paused,"I was just wandering aimlessly, trying to map out the area to get comfortable with everything." Aurtha couldn't help but feel the butterflies in her stomach that still lingered since she stepped into the premises. "Being around everyone just makes me a little nervous," Aurtha paused again, "I think I already said that," she follows with, again, a nervous chuckle. "But, I was going to just drop this off," Aurtha raised her violin and almost lost her hold on it, which caused her hands to shift through the bulky case and folder awkwardly, spilling the papers in the folder on the ground.

"Damn it," she said under her breath as she started to pick up her papers and sloppily stuffed them back into her folder. Aurtha stood up abruptly, giving a fake and rather embarrassed smile,"Okay! I should probably get going."

Aurtha begins to speed off while exclaiming,"I'll see you at the assembly!". As soon as she turned the corner and left his line of sight, she took a deep breath and mumbled to herself,"I suck..."

Aurtha made her way back to her dorm, viewing all the new items that were neatly unpacked on her roommate's half of the room. She took a moment to glance at everything,"I can't believe I missed her. It took me awhile to unpack all my belongings and I didn't even finish."

Aurtha stows her violin beneath her bed, taking a seat to take a deep breath before her attention is turned to the beautifully carved, wooden picture frame that contained a photograph of her and her family. She picked it up, forming a big smile on her face and letting out a small laugh as she reminisces of the moment the picture was taken: Aurtha, covered in flour from trying to make her failure of a pie, her mother came over to help her in distress from the mess, her aunt laughing at the scene, and her cousin being introduced to the selfie stick so she was taking endless amounts of photos. In the photo, Aurtha stood with an agitated posture and a half-smirk for the sake of the photo, while her aunt was letting out a bold laugh, and her mother and cousin just had big smiles.

Aurtha's nostalgic moment is interrupted by the PA system notifying everyone of the assembly: "Good morning, Oliver Queen Memorial. All students are required to attend an inaugural school assembly, which will take place on the basketball courts located within the school gym. This assembly will outline school policy as well as mark the beginning of Day One orientation. Assembly will commence in 30 minutes."

Aurtha let out a sigh as she placed the photo back on her nightstand, grabbing her folder, but stopping to look in the mirror before leaving. She looked herself up and down, her plain, casual t-shirt still had wrinkles on it and looked a tad bit small for her torso, revealing the old, denim material of her shorts that went down to her mid-thigh(just barely school appropriate). She fixed her white, beaten up converse to get her feet to fit more comfortably, ignoring the brand new pair that her mother bought her for the sake of looking more presentable for school. Without a care of her attire, she made awkward poses and reactions in the mirror in an attempt to look totally casual, yet they all weren't up to par with her idea of 'normal'.

"Whatever," she muttered as she head to the school gym.
I'm interested! All the roles sound equally as enjoyable~!

I'll take Noble if that's the only one left.

EDIT: Re-reading through everything again, I'm very excited for this and I do wish to play the Noble!
I have interest in this!~

Still have a little bit more left to read.

I'll play either role that needs to filled (magi or non-magi).
@Goliah

No worries~.

We are all eager because of you're outstanding GMness~!
I'm thinking of doing Lilapsophobia, but I feel like I'll just be making marvel's Storm (2.0).
I just baked a banana bread.

It deflated though...
Interested!~

Aurtha walked aimlessly through the crowd, lost in thought and replaying the fresh memory of parting ways from her family. She stops to take in more of the scenery and looks past all the students that are making their way through campus. Aurtha opens the folder, looking through the papers and skimming through all the text that she had no motivation to read through. She finally came across a map that has a detailed layout of everything. She matches important buildings on the map to the ones in person, figuring out her position in association with the map before being distracted by the livelihood of the campus.

Aurtha forms a soft smile as she gazes at the few flying figures in the sky, turning to other people on campus that reveal hints of their power through visual manipulations. Excitement begins to form in her body from being among other meta-humans, as she begins to wonder if her identity was obvious.

A boy that matched her in height and stature subtly caught up to her and mimicked her pace as his contagious smile forced her to reform her soft expression from earlier. "Hey, there. You're a student? I don't suppose you'd be able to help me find my way, it's my first day."

"Um," Aurtha paused, her mild social awkwardness resurfaces from speaking to her first fellow meta-human. "It's my first day, too. I don't even know where I'm going," she replies with a shrug, stopping in her tracks in hopes to engage a conversation.

There's a short moment of silence as she eyes his broad shoulders and chiseled jawline, before setting her stare back to his brown eyes. Noticing the silence, she brings up a topic to hopefully befriend the individual,"I've never been around so many people with such different powers! It's amazing, don't you agree?".

Aurtha shrugs once more,"I just hope I'm up to par with everyone else. I don't even know what to expect here."
