I'm so pumped.

I'm itching to get another post in and get some interactions going~!

A U R T H A is READDYYYY.

EDIT: Also -- have we made a decision to start a Discord or no?
<Snipped quote by Lionhearted>A Meta doesn't have to be a Cape. A Meta could be a villain or just your average citizen living a normal life. Batman was a Cape but he was never Meta. Green Arrow was/is but he was never Meta. Not all Metas are Capes and not all Capes are Metas.

TL;DR: Cape /= Meta.

<Snipped quote>She's not there to get along. She's there to learn so she can stick it to some asshole newspaper owner. But she will be play nicer with the Cape wannabes than an Amazonian. Cape wannabes can be taught better, Amazonians by the time they leave the island are already brainwashed beyond hope.

Oooooh I see. It all makes sense now~. Thanks!

Nonetheless, I'm excited for the conflict!
<Snipped quote by Lionhearted>Doesn't matter if they sided with or against the Regime, if they are a Cape she is against them. They are responsible for as much death as the ones they fight against, in fact she sees no difference between a Cape and a super villain, in her opinion they are equally culpable for the murders commited by the super villain.

How many millions of lives would be alive today if Batman wasn't so weak? The Regime definitely would never have happened, because if Batman had done the morally conscionable thing he would have killed Joker after the first time he broke out of Arkham. Arrest and imprison the first time, after that they proved they are incapable of being a decent human being and are only subhuman scum that deserves nothing more than death.

As for being Anti-Meta it says in my first IC post: She was strictly anti-Meta, until she came one herself.

She will never be a Cape, she won't go out of her way and save the damsel in distress, she won't fight the world breaking super evil dude, she will save someone from whatever bad guy if it is not out of her way. The criminals she does deal with how she handles it will depend on the crime being committed.

A true hero would do what humanity needs not what humanity says is right, keeping super villains alive is not needed, ending their reign of terror permanently is needed.

The term Capes I got from some tv show.

I mean, I think that's why I got confused because in your post it says that she was strictly anti-meta until she became one. But you're saying that she's now anti-Cape. I thought they were the same things.

If this is how she thinks, doesn't that imply that she won't get along with anyone at school?
@Lionhearted 'Capes' is Burning Kitty's in-character description of all superheores and metas. Because Superman's One Earth Regime was created by those who were supposed to be superheroes and were supposed to use their powers responibly and for the betterment of mankind, there are many people who don't trust heroes, or capes, anymore because they saw just how corrupt and tyranical they could be.

Specifically, because Superman was kryptonian, there's also alot of xenophobia now towards aliens, especially kryptonians like Kara Zor-El. And since Wonder Woman was essentially Superman's second in command, that distrust and prejudice has extended to Amazons too.

Basically, it's all just another type of discrimination. Kind of like the anti-mutant sentiments in the X-men universe.

Ooooh. So is Bolt anti-meta? Or she just has hatred towards the descendants of the founders and top promoters of the Regime?

<Snipped quote by Lionhearted>You do know that Wonder Woman is a murderer in the Injustice universe right?

She hates Capes, but her hatred of Wonder Woman is boundless. Her hatred of Wonder Woman and Amazonians in general makes her hate for Capes look like a mild disinterest.

I'm very, incredibly sorry for my still vague understanding of much of the DC Universe, but out of everything that I have and am researching about DC Universe + Injustice, the only thing that comes up for capes are the ones people wear on their backs. I'm still trying to come across something that explains the hatred towards each other. So, I just came back here hoping that someone could explain it for me?
@Burning Kitty WHAT!? BUT WHY?!

Aurtha gazed at the incredibly large and populated campus, paying no attention to the constant protesting that could be heard in the distance. Her attention was jumping between the many different children among the crowd, to the different buildings that housed them all, but ultimately, she was taking in the new environment that she'll call her home. It all began to hit her at once: not being with her caretakers daily, having less guidance in her life, and possibly no real amazonian figure to learn from.

"Aurtha, dear," a matured voice from a tall, lean, amazonian woman spoke clearly as she hustled her away around the crowding people. Two others came close behind her that matched her appearance in height, stature, and bright features.

Aurtha turned quickly, breaking her stare from the now-intimidating campus. Her long, wavy hair whipped over her shoulder while a deep, amazonian voice left her full, pink lips, replying shakily,"Yes, mom?" Although she knew that Imalda, the woman who looked after her for as long as she could remember, was not her true mother, she felt the love shared between a proper mother and child so profoundly that she had no hesitation to refer to her as 'mom'.

Imalda rummaged through the stack of papers she was given among signing her in and stowed them in a folder to hand to Aurtha,"Everything you need is in here to start your schooling. You have your schedule, a pamphlet that explains the classes, what electives you can take, you have your --."

"I'm gonna miss you," Aurtha interrupted,"So much..."

A warm hand was pressed against her arm gently from another amazonian woman -- Imalda's sister, Treya, that became Aurtha's primary trainer in combat,"Do not get too sad, my dear, home is only one call away."

Aurtha turned to Treya's grown daughter, Maya, who resembled such a profound amazonian warrior's appearance, even dressed in such casual clothes. She spoke in a comforting manner,"You have so much opportunity here. Had something like this existed in my youth, I would have no second thoughts of attending as well."

"Have you met your roommate yet?" Imalda questioned Aurtha.

Aurtha shook her head,"No. She hadn't moved in yet."

Imalda grabbed Aurtha to embrace her in one last hug before they departed from each other,"Remember all that we taught you -- about life, about the amazonian way, about how to be kind." Although Aurtha heard this endlessly from her, she let her talk, just for the sake of hearing her lecture one last time,"You may still feel different and unwelcomed here, despite being among those of great power, being that your life is so different from most. Just always, always, always, know that I love you as my own, and you will always be my daughter."

Aurtha let loose a few tears, but also a chuckle,"You know we'll see eachother sooner than later, right?"

Imalda mimicked her chuckle,"Of course, my dear. I'm just frightened for whom it is that may influence you. You are the daughter of Diana of Themyscira and the King of Atlantis, also granddaughter to Zeus himself. Do not let anyone use you for wrong, trust your heart and all that is right."

"I know, I know," Aurtha finally attempted to dismiss the oh-so familiar lecture.

"Listen," Imalda continued, refusing to release Aurtha from her embrace,"You have such powerful parents and ancestors, but you also have a loving family right here. We are your family, Aurtha, and we will think about you daily until your return. Be proud of where you come from."

Imalda released her, checking her watch for the time,"You should go. Find some friends, enjoy your freedom!" Imalda insisted with a bittersweet smile. "Wait!" Imalda commanded, reaching around her for a small, beat-up case that contained a beautiful violin that Aurtha grew up with. "We almost forgot this, even though you played it for me everyday." Imalda handed it to Aurtha,"This -- this is what I'm going to miss so much. I hope their ears are worthy of your playing!"

Aurtha laughed, giving them all one last hug and a few more sentences of 'I love you's' and 'I'll see you soon's' before they left the front gates and for Aurtha to be on her own. Aurtha turned to gaze at the campus, hesitantly taking the steps towards the crowd of people moving in, meeting each other, and signing up for classes. Already, she towered most of the children, not insecurely, but confidently. She held her violin tightly in one hand, and a folder of papers to read through eventually.

She made her way into the crowd.

What would a student's schedule look like?

Would it be separated into blocks where they travel to different classrooms? Also, how many classes are fit into one day?

I'm also assuming they have weekends. Unless they fill the weekends with totally super awesome special superhero training... or something.

EDIT: Also, will there be roommates involved or will everyone get their own dorm?

Also, will this be the first day? Like a move in day or like a day after move in day where everyone picks their classes and such.
@RumikoOhara

Aw, I love her~! She has such an interesting skillset. Holy hell is she tiny though.

Me: "She stands tall at 5'11, broad shoulders, with tone and muscle mass comparable to her parents, Wonder Woman & Aquaman.

You: "4'10. 92 lb."
