Zento is seen as a serious young man with a moderate sense of humor. He acts like a gentleman since that the way he was raised. Zento is seen as a pessimist, he tends to expect the worse to happen when the wrong, or illogical choice is made. He uses sheer logic to solve his problems and looks down on those who think that willpower will get them far in life. He would rather watch and observe a situation before jumping into anything.
Zento tends to doubt himself anytime he makes an important decision. He tries to hard to make the best choice, the most logical choice. And if he makes a bad decision, he criticizes himself mercilessly. He is tends to pick and unfurl random strands of his hair when he is in deep thought or just daydreaming.

Kazuma Satoru lives to contradict Zento, when Zento his wrong, he will run the right answer in his face. But at times, Kazuma will help Zento, hinting things to him of giving advice. She is prideful, and has an improper attitude with some tomboyish tendencies and insecurities. Despite this, she is generally friendly and easygoing. She has a keen sense of justice, demonstrated by her frequent attempts to goad Zento to fight the evil that confront him.

Black Cloud Duelist: Fires a bolt into the air it costs 1 Electron, this creates a storm that lasts for 7 posts but after it's finished, he does suffer a 15 post cool down. While this storm is active the lightning bolts strike but never actually hit the opponent. Yet the electrons in the air double. Meaning for each sword swing gives him two electrons.
