Lao Jaximas

November 5th, the day in which every child, teen, or adult, was at some store in order to buy the newest and coolest game, SAO.

Despite that fact, Lao had no idea what the hell was going on. He had heard of the NerveGear, he even had one. But he never played it. The system was a gift from his mother, probably hoping to get rid of his depression, or that's what she thought it was. Lao lay in his bed, simply waiting for the day to go by. He had a fairly large room with mahogany walls, a feather soft queen sized bed, and a TV lateral to the bed, mounted to the wall, but that was rarely on anyway.

This was how most of Laos' days were spent, laying in bed, eating, sleeping, thinking. He had been doing this for about a month, and he was actually getting bored of it. Unfortunately, things like this, habits like that, we're hard to break. He wished his father was here this autumn morning. But that's not how things worked, how he wished that he could walk his way to his father. Unfortunately, he lost his will, his happiness when his father left, and he continued on. He would continue through the year, sitting on his bed, watching the flowers dance in the spring breeze, watching the sun rise in the summer horizon, watching the moon during th autumn's chill, and waiting in the cold winds of winter. He was just all around to depressing, he just breathed sadness, which was actually not like him at all.

A knock on his door through him out of his sad thoughts. His mother entered the room, carrying a small package. Lao stood up and greeted his mother out of respect. "Here, take, this is for you." she said with a bright smile, hopefulness was literally bursting out from her eyes. Lao took the box and opened it, inside was a copy of SAO. Lao chuckled to himself, and his mothers smile wavered a bit. He was here at home, doing nothing, while kids were waiting for 3 days to get this same game, yet his got it without as much as lifting a finger. He really did not want to play the game, but his mother must if went through a lot to get it, or a butler did, either way. It must have proved difficult.

"I thank you mother, I will certainly play this game, I am greatful." he said bowing slightly to his mother. She patted him in the head and walked out of his room. Lao sighed and through the game on the floor next to him, he had changed his mind, he was not gonna play that game.

November 6th

@ItsToppyTippers

Lao woke up the same way he always did, lazy, tired, and depressed. It was a routine he had grown all to used to. Despite him knowing this, he could not break the habit, why, he did not care to no. It was the same cycle, day after day, even him thinking about this was a cycle, he was pretty sure he thought about this yesterday. Lao had to change this, it was starting to get to him. He sat up and glanced be down at the game SAO, he had the ability, no, the opportunity to do something else. To escape into a virtual world, were he did not have to worry of the changing seasons, the time he would have to live without his father. Lao raked his hand through his hair, the game started in a few minutes, might as well join in.

Lao set up the game, and lay in bed with the Gear in his head. The game would start in a few second, this was his last chance to back out, before he became addicted to a fake world.

3....
He would not choose to back out!

2....
This was a place were he could be himself again, or more.

1...
A place, were he did not need his father.

"Link Start!" Lao proclaimed, suddenly, he was he was thrown into another world. He was given the ability to create his avatar. Lao simply made him look similar, maybe his virtual character was a bit more muscular that his Real Life self, but it was close enough.

Lao found himself in a place called 'The Town of Beginnings', which was a pretty unique name by his standards. He was greeted by a merchant who gave him a guide book, which was convenient for a person like him, he was playing the game for the first time. He found a bench and took his time studying the book, slowly accumulating knowledge on the game.

Before Lao knew it, he was fighting beasts in the forest with a curved blade. Spinning, dodging, and cutting up any enemy who walked his way. For once since his father death, he was having fun, he was happy, excited, glad, free, for once, he wished this would go on forever. Unfortunately, he got his wish, when he went to open the interface, there was no logout button like was said to be in the Guidebook. Something was not right, the developers would have sent out a waring to all the players, at least that would have been common sense, unless that's what they were playing at.

Suddenly he was teleported to a large courtyard were hundreds of other players were stationed also. They were told by the developer that they were stuck, and that they could not leave until they finished all 100 floors. Defiantly not a way that it was going to be done quickly. Lao sighed, but his wish had come true, but in...a manner that was too... he did not have a word to describe it.

Some were yelling, screaming, and other changing? Before Lao could comprehend what was happening, he was given a mirror, and in a flash of light, he became what he really looked like, less muscular. It was not much of a change in his book. But anger bubbled up in his chest, this man, had toyed with them, took their trust, he was a horrible man, and leader, one that Lao disspised.

He noticed on girl who felt the same way he did. She was screaming at the top of her lungs at the ghost that was air. Lao walked up to her and patted her on the shoulder, doing his best to calm her down. "Yelling will do us all no good. We should probably do our best to end the game, so we can get out as fast as possible." He said with a genuine smile on his face. Despite what he said, he really did not want to leave this game, but he was not gonna stay in a shell for the rest of this game, he was already staring to get back to his old self.
Zento Ray

@Kitsune @Phobos

Zento raked his hands through his hair, things had settled down, but there was something in the air. Something was making him on edge, he could also tell by the static that Kazuma was creating, she was just as apprehensive as he was. He jumped a bit when Koyo spoke, "Don't sweat it." He mumbled despondently, trying to pinpoint the cause of his apprehensive behavior. "I don't know, but we should try and follow using the GPS." He shrugged, the feeling of dread still resonating strongly in his bones.

"We should he careful." he mumbled to Koyo, his eyes dark, he was not liking the edge he felt in the air, not at all. Suddenly, most of Zentos' apprehensive feeling disappeared, and was replaced with fear. The Hollow that had ran, came back to them, Koyo had been right to ask that question. Unfortunately, it was not alone, but Zento could tell something was wrong. It was, injured, they had not hurt it that extent.

Before it could reach them, something landed on the Hollow, completely destroying it. "Stupid captain!! Gah, the pain...this damn pain...I need to feed but these hollows wont do...hm?" a voice rang out from the smoke. Suddenly, a small hollow appeared, it was menacing, Zento could feel its bloodlust from where he was standing. This was a powerful enemy, the type they were supposed to retreat from when they came upon. But it had already attack Koyo, "Shit!" Zento yelled as he took out Kazuma and Shunpo'ed to the left of the hollow. Unusual, it only had three legs. Zento brought his Zanpakuto forward, aiming to pierce the center mass of the hollow, trying to get it off of Koyo. Know it had two possible attacks to parry.
So anyone want to form a Relationship/Friendship with Lao?
Yes but the Immortal was pushed in after your post, at that point in time the Immortal was still at the edge of the Reactor Pit.

And for the sake of logistics, Angel tried to talk to the Immortal at the doors to the Reactor Core, all the fighting that happened before that took place outside where all our previous fighting was. Except for Revel's stunt there hasn't been any engagement with the Immortal in the Reactor Core room.

Oh alright, I'll edit that, just wanted to make sure.
@Prince of Seraphs
So they both fell in right?
Alexander Ziker - MicWiz

Alex glanced at Chimera when he had reminded him that they needed to focus. He sighed and raked his hands through his hair, what were they supposed to do. They could not fight the Immortal, maybe if they were grouped together, but as they were, it was over. Ideas floated through his mind, but all seemed as impossible to do as the last. "The radiation is doing its job internally at the moment. With the amount of radioactive cells in his body, a normal human would die within a few hours." He mumbled despondently. "There is really no point to you doing that." He shrugged at he stood up.

Alex looked at Michelle and nodded when she offered to take her body, supposedly she was not dead. He cracked his knuckles before walking towards the reactor. What ensued inside was chaos, Chimera was in a tunnel of wind, and Alex was supposed to get ready to for something. Despite all this, they were quickly shut down by the all powerfully monster that was the Immortal. The Elementist had been dropped a few feet, but it was apparent he was fine.

It was not surprising to find the Hopper speaking to the Immortal. It was as if they were good friends, unfortunately it would most likely end in failure. And it did, Evil Eyes attacked the Immortal, his arm snapped and the Immortal continued. It was slightly amusing, this happened twice in a row, maybe they needed a room. Crosscut and Hopper tried fighting, but was quickly dispatched. Hoppers let destroyed, but Crosscut was doing fine. Even Angel tried to talk but she failed also, just being ignored by the beast.

Revel's attempt seemed successful through. There fight was much more nerve racking, he and the Immortal tumbled down the center of the react, an extremely dangerous place to be. Alex ran after the duo, looking over the edge to see Revel ansending, but no sign of the Immortal. Alex created a platform under the body of Revel, if he wanted to lay or stand on it to get to the top faster. Hopefully this push would kill the Immortal, because. If it did not they would have failed.
Zento Ray

@Kitsune

Zento, no longer had any reason to doubt Koyo. She demonstrated excellent sword skill and ability, despite being a bite reckless. With a series of acrobatics, she was able to push the hollow off its feet. Unfortunately, this was not simplistic Hollow, suddenly it's face darkened as it fell. Zento's eyes widened, as he watched, he realized that it had been waiting for this. It's arms contorted, it's elbow switching directions, literally. It caught itself, before pushing it's body up, sudden a red ball of energy formed on its mouth.

Zento knew exactly what the was, "Cero!" he yelled glancing at Koyo before Shunpo'ing into the air. The Hollow fired a red beam at were Koyo and Zento were originally standing, and an explosion rocked the whole block. The ground was on fire, and a large crater had formed from the blast. When the smoke cleared, the Hollow had disappeared. Zento jumped down and walked over to the place the the Hollow was originally standing. "Damn, it escaped." He mumbled, it must have ran when it's Mask was chipped. "Good job." He said back at Koyo, she had proved beyond a doubt that she could help herself.
I will also, been gone all day. Gonna take a nap then post.

Gender:
Male

Short Bio:
Lao was born into a rich family. His father was a popular political leader in China, bit his family lives in Japan. Lao did not have much of a child hood, school and his behavior was what he focused on as a child. But he was not bitter, hour enjoyed learning about politics an leadership. He strived to be like his father, taking every chance he could, to see his father, even if it was on TV. Unfortunately, his father was assassinated, and the killer unknown. Lao fell into depression, his mother did everything she could to get him out of it. Eventually, SAO came out, and she ordered one of the 10,000 copies. Lao started playing games before SAO and was slowly improving. His mother was hopping this would help him.

Personality:
On the surface, Lao comes off as a rather silly and lighthearted person, frequently engaging in comical behavior and retaining his oft-present grin even while making threats. He displays a childlike amusement for new situations whether or not they prove adverse or even potentially fatal, has a penchant for wandering off on his own only to collapse in the middle of a street. Even with all these idiosyncrasies, he is extremely personable and his particularly complimentary nature easily gains him the friendship and trust of those surrounding him.
Of course, these aspects believe the complex and determined young man underneath. On the reverse side of his frivolous nature is his considerable shrewdness, which makes him quite capable of reading people and situations. He is particularly observant, taking into consideration even the smallest details of his surroundings in order to better understand and deal with challenges and is not above using cheap tricks or questionable tactics to ensure his own survival. Being singularly ambitious, Lao also has a remarkably tenacious will that allows him to overcome virtually insurmountable obstacles and accept inhuman burdens for the sake of his ultimate goal. He has considerable pride that will not stand for having his humanity insulted or condemned by his enemies, but he is also capable of shelving his pride if it becomes something that will stand in the way of his objective.

Lao is very protective of his family and comrades, refusing to allow any harm to come to them and often deeming their safety more important than his own in spite of his own personal ambitions and goals. He has to be reminded several times that his own safety is something upon which many people depend and uses his loved ones as his primary motivation when all hope seems lost. As such, he becomes furious when observing those who willingly or remorselessly cast aside their own comrades or brethren and is sickened by the idea of superiors who reject their duty to those who trust them.
