Current Remember my joke theory about how the world ended in 2012 and each subsequent year has just been a layer by layer descent into hell? It feels less and less like a joke each year.

Bro it's so weird thinking I was 15 when I joined here. I'm turning 21 in March. Time is a scam.

First there had been Spinel's prank. Then there was the weapons everywhere. Not to forget the axe thrown out the window. After that, Aquamarine was out. And now Amber was back, dazed, taller and somehow quieter than before.

By all means, she should be stunned. Overwhelmed. Maybe even slightly panicked. And yet, if Evenkite felt any of these things, they'dve passed quickly.

Instead, of all things, she laughed.

It had started off as a choked giggle, hardly audible to even the most sensitive of ears. She herself wasn't quite sure as to what caused it. Was it the result of Spinel's prank from earlier finally taking over? Relief that Amber was back? Or maybe Amber's confusion? The absurdity of the situation finally setting in? How casually they've begun to react to these things? A mixture of all the above? Whatever it was, it had caused her to laugh, a sound and sensation so alien to Evenkite that for a moment, she was stunned -scared even- of the sound of her own voice. Which, of course, realising how silly it was to think that way, noticing how strange it sounded to hear herself laugh, only caused her giggles to become laughs. Then she realised how the fact that she was laughing at all was strange, and her laughter grew into a full-out fit, causing her to double over.

She laughed as she moved away from the door. She laughed as she began to pick up what was left of the weapons on the ground. She laughed as she held them out to Sodalite. She laughed as she tried to think of what to add to Spinel's story. She laughed as she tried to speak to Amber, and laughed even more when she found herself unable to form proper sentences due to her fit. In the end, all she could manage was, "Every-" she broke off into yet more laughter, an uncharacteristically goofy grin on her face, "Everything happened...!" And then her fit drowned out whatever was left of her words.

Oh god, she was losing it, wasn't she?

Time out, Eve. Time out. What's even wrong with you?
@Akayaofthemoon Personally, I like the idea, though I think it'd be best if it were something they learned later on, perhaps after they've gotten a good grasp on how to use their weapons. However, I'm okay with whatever you decide. :3

Also, I'm off the road now as you can probably tell by the fact that I'm typing this right now, so ye. Operation 'Evenkite does a thing that's not very much like her' is a go!
@Saarebas Well, Spinel spooked Sodalite (who dropped her concealed weapons everywhere in her fright), Eve (who nearly dropped Amber's gemstone in hers), and Emerald, Aquamarine's come out thanks to Howlite decided that axing the window would be the best 2nd escape plan since Eve was covering the door, and they're trying to cover up what happened to Aquamarine, who is also now out. We also got to see some flashbacks from Bloodstone.

Also, I woke up and was swarmed with posts everywhere. Just like two days or so ago. XD

I just want to let you all know that I'm going to be kept on the road for the next few hours, so I'm not sure when or if I'll be able to post. Feel free to drag Eve where ever you please.
Things are picking up again~

You know what this means.

"I. Did. Not." The words came out harsh but forced, and it was becoming harder and harder to not laugh herself. The fact that she almost joined in on the laughter was more surprising than Spinel's prank; her mouth twitched slightly as if she was fighting the urge to grin like an idiot. She probably would've cracked if it weren't for the fact that there were more pressing matters, namely Amber's gemstone nearly being dropped, the weapons-

Oh nononono, not good, not good.

Evenkite pondered at what to do, with the weapons everywhere. If Aquamarine saw them, there's be questions for sure. Questions she wasn't looking forward to answering. Questions that shouldn't be asked at all. Surely she could carry a few, but that wasn't going to help if she couldn't hide them.

Not good at all, not good at all. What to do, what to do...

Scrambling over to the van door and giving it a violent shove, she closed the door shut and then pressed her back against it, despite knowing that if Aquamarine did try to open the door, there was little chance she could actually do anything about it.

"Stop that! Hide them!" She hissed to Sodalite, "Quickly!"
@21308 Indeed it did! I didn't think Eve would've freaked out as much if weren't for Sodalite though, so you'll have to give thanks to her. XD
@21308 She's just still butthurt over leaving Kindergarten. Give it time. :P

@HaltingBlooper I'm half tempted to draw Emerald's chibi with literal flashlights for eyes now.
Nearly every post of Loony in a nutshell: Eve doesn't trust you, Eve doesn't like you, and Eve is not amused.
Though she would most likely deny it afterwards, Evenkite had been shocked at first by the voice, and Sodalite's over-the-top reaction didn't help. For a split second, Amber's gemstone had left her protective cradle and found itself in the air, leaving Evenkite desperately grasping at it as it bounced off her hands once, twice, three, and then a fourth time, until she finally caught it, much to her relief. Whether dropping Amber from such a height would do anything bad was unlikely, but she wasn't going to chance it.

For a few moments, the worry on Evenkite's face remained, until it occurred to her that Spinel could turn invisible.

Wow Eve, not only are you nearly useless, but their idiocy has rubbed off you as well. Great job!

She let out a groan and brought her palm to her forehead with an loud slap, purposely covering her cheeks in an attempt to not let her embarrassment show over her annoyance.

"Spinel," she growled through gritted teeth, her grip on Amber's gemstone tightening, "Not funny. Or scary." That last bit was partially a lie, because she had been shocked.

"I know it's you."

And, of course, Emerald was back to his annoying old self. Just fabulous. Whatever feelings of this potentially being a good decision that still remained with her began to fade away.
@HaltingBlooper Upon which case, Emerald and Gilles are twins separated at birth and no one can convince me otherwise. I don't care if they're completely of different species, ages, and appearances, they're twins.
