Current Remember my joke theory about how the world ended in 2012 and each subsequent year has just been a layer by layer descent into hell? It feels less and less like a joke each year.

Bro it's so weird thinking I was 15 when I joined here. I'm turning 21 in March. Time is a scam.

@Blizz Alrighty, digging it up, shouldn't take too long...
@Eviledd1984

Watch your F-bomb, m8. XD
@Blizz Alrighty then! Do you want me to dig up a post our gm (Akaya) made that summarizes what's happened in the IC thus far?
@Eviledd1984

Hiya,

a) I'm still waiting for Path to make a post and we should be patient for him, and b) Even if I did I'd need to wait for two more posts until I post again.

I'm sorry for the wait. Once Path makes a Johnny post I'll be sure to do one as Gilles as well.
So much conflicted Eve. Such 'I AM DONE'. I love it.

Reggie, please be careful.

Eve, try not to piss off Bloodstone.
"After what I just saw, you clearly need to take a break, and you can murder me with your mind powers later. Now fucking rest, cause apparently you need it."

No way Eve was going to argue with that. Having been put in Reggie's bag and told to rest, embarrassing and demeaning as it was, was far more ideal than being unconscious out in the open at Bloodstone's feet, and though her now hurt pride would probably never allow her to admit it, she was secretly grateful. No complaints were uttered and though the pain still very much present and possibly worse than before, little gem blacked out nearly immediately, too exhausted to even be kept conscious by it.

Once awoken some time later, the first thing Eve noticed was that the burning sensation she felt earlier was no longer present. Which was good. After her eyes opened and adjusted to the lighting, the second thing she noticed was that her vision had returned to normal. Which was also good. Then, having said vision returned to her, the third thing she notice was that she had absolutely no fucking idea where she was. Which wasn't so good.

Indeed, no longer was she stuck in Reggie's bag, but in...Somewhere. Her surroundings were unlike anything she had seen before, and even as she tried to recall the various places Talc had described to her, nothing seemed to match up. All around her were strange pieces of machinery, some she recognized -some spider bots from earlier and a few broken down injectors, not unlike those that dotted the Kindergarten- but most of which she did not, and could only imagine their purpose. Eve instinctively shrunk away from the spider bots, taking great care to not touch any of the equipment in case she triggered one on by mistake or made a sound that could alert someone of her location or presence. Assuming she wasn't alone, of course, but given the sound of footsteps, it was a pretty safe assumption. Keeping cover within the equipment, she eventually settled by the broken injectors, carefully hiding herself within the wreckage so that only a single yellow-green eye peeking out of a hole was visible.

"Well, at least you tried Reggie. Let them go. Chromite, help them out."

Reggie? Reggie was here, too? Why was she out, then? That was Bloodstone's voice. Had Bloodstone done this? Who was them referring to? Was Melanite also on the ship? Sodalite? Someone else entirely? A dozen or so similar questions rushed through her mind, and with it a great sense of confusion and slight worry began to well up within her as well. A large part of her wanted to make herself visible, as visible as possible. Hell, she'd fly right up into Bloodstone's face regardless of what setbacks followed and yell out everything on her mind without filter, respect for the commander be damned.

But you know what, Eve? Let it be. Don't question it. You heard me, don't even question it. Skies knows that no matter what you ask you never get an answer that you like, or even an answer at all, so just keep it quiet. Stay out of trouble, like you told Talc you would.

And then it hit her. Of course. Bloodstone was in charge of the Kindergarten. The broken injectors were from Kindergarten. They were not in Kindergarten. The spider bots? The warp pad? Bloodstone's ship.

She was on Bloodstone's ship.

WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL. WHY. HOW.

The realisation of this fact hit Eve as hard as how hard she would've hit her head against the wreckage above her while trying to bolt up, had she not remembered that it was there, and that doing so would make quite the racket.

Had Reggie put her here willingly? 'At least you tried'. Words of encouragement? Sounded like it. She didn't want to believe it, but she had to admit, it sounded like it. Perhaps they were in cahoots all along.

By thunder, Eve, you're an idiot. Why the hell did you just trust the guy?

"You can murder me with your mind powers later."

Well, he did give you permission.

Scratch that...He seemed concerned. Genuinely concerned. So why would he be in cahoots? Wh-you know what, let's go with not questioning things a little longer. Your head hurt a lot less when you did that.

Eve remained silent and still as possible, though the assortment of feelings running through her -panic, anger (both at Reggie and herself), hurt, and most of all, confusion- made it harder to contain herself. Hands that seemed far too big for her body were now curled into fists, nails digging into palms.

She would wait. Yes, she would wait, wait until Bloodstone had gone into the other room with Reggie. She would wait for them to leave and explore in her own accord-No. No, they probably knew she was on the ship, and probably where as well. It wasn't like she couldn't just ended up there by herself. Hell, this guy could see what was happening in the Kindergarten from his own ship, no doubt he could tell what was happening in the room she was in. Screw secrecy, they knew she was here, they were just ignoring her.

Just like he must've ignored you when you had emerged.

Are you that insignificant?

Would she try to leave? No, not without Reggie. As suspicious as his actions seemed to be, she had trouble believing he was ill-meaning, and more trouble believing that Bloodstone wouldn't harm him, considering how he greeted the other newborns when they had emmerged, and considering how she found him when they had first met. Though Reggie had presumably gotten her into this mess, it didn't feel right to leave him there.

Because ultimately, it was your own fault. You're the one who let Reggie tag along, and you're the one who tried to go after Melanite. Whatever followed suit was not his fault, it's yours.

Accept that fact.

With a loud huff, Evenkite pushed the wreckage that was meant to conceal her away, creating ungodly loud clangs as they hit the floor. No, she wasn't playing the safe game anymore, and she wasn't playing the pretend games, either. She was going to approach this just as she had approached Bloodstone. Which granted, could've gotten her decapitated. But at this point, Eve was sick with emotion and sick with unanswered questions, and thus this didn't matter. Most of all though, she was at sixes and sevens, and her judgement was as muddled as when she had overused her powers.

Using a voice that dwarfed that of the wreckage before her, she bellowed, "REGGIE, BLOODSTONE, SIR."

Filters be damned. Restraint be damned. She was going to let them know how she felt. She was going to let all her questions fly free.
"YOU HAVE A LOT OF EXPLAINING TO DO."

And rest assured, if anything else went wrong today, questions won't be the only things flying.
@21308 I said it wouldn't be as long. Turns out I am very wrong. XD
@21308 I'm almost done with Eve post. It's a little long but nothing like the last posts. I just want to say that ooooh boy this was way too fun to write.
@Akayaofthemoon It's alright, we understand.

So. getting my blood extracted, I would like to just say that ACHIEVEMENT GET because it only took them two tries this time to get the blood, when unsually it takes between 3-5 tries. On the downside something weird happened and I began to feel really light headed a few minutes after the blood test, and nearly fainted, which a) was really embarrassing, and b) is the reason why I took so long, because they had to keep me a room for a while to make sure I didn't pass out because hyperventilating was a thing that was happening. But ye, I'm okay now, and IC post, I promise today.

@Blizz I'm sorry to say that we aren't accepting anymore gems, but you're free to make a human character, if you want. ' v '

Also what's with all the monochrome gems XD
I mean, Spinel is white, Howlite is gray, Melanite is black, Zircon is black, Chromite is gray, if Snowflake Obisidan joins that's black, grey, AND white. And to top it all off, Eve was originally meant to be mostly white, and was only change to yellow because we realised that if she were yellow, then her old crew would have all the colors of the rainbow, with Harlequin Quartz being red, Calomel being orange, Evenkite being yellow, Idocrase being green, Kornerupine being blue, and Rutile being purple. And additionally, the two gems that make up Harlequin Quartz, Crystal Quartz and Hematite, are black and white.

So there's three warm-colored gems (Bloodstone, Amber, and Eve), three cool-colored gems (Emerald, Sodalite, and Aquamarine), and five monochrome gems. And if Snowflake Obisidan joins the mix, half of the monochrome gems would be black. XD
