Honestly all I can imagine for Eve and Emerald fusing just
Emerald's voices freaking out, Eve's mindset constantly switching from Microcline to herself, lots of internal shouting, screaming, and insult throwing, they are all fighting, no one is safe, all is chaos, everything that could go wrong does go wrong.
On the outside, however, they're silent and still. Deathly silent. And then, out of nowhere, Moldavite just
"WHY AM I A ROCK AGAIN!?"
A floating rock nonetheless. They unfuse and immediately regret having fused, but have a strange empathy for one another knowing how fucking confusing the other's mind is. Maybe they're even a little nicer to each other.
And of course, Emerald falls asleep after.
But otherwise? All is hell and they're NEVER doing it again. Not even the power high's gonna convince Eve.
