My work schedule just completely changed for the worse, so expect me to be less active, unable to run my own RPs, but I should hopefully be able to keep myself in other people's RPs.

Jack - Castle Tepes

Jack was in complete agreement with the various plans laid out in defense of the Eye from Shadow Eternity forces. Noticing many were preparing to take their respective places in guarding, Jack stepped over to stand directly in front of the doorway to the eye, facing down the hall. He sat down into a meditative position, with his sword placed within arms reach, and used the the time of waiting to rest, and reflect on recent events. Jack found he was still quite amazed at all there was in the multiverse, and that he still had much to learn about the common sights and interactions within. Jack also contemplated fully siding with the UMMA, seeing it could be of great benefit in both finding the way back to his own time, and having aide in the inevitable battle with Aku when he returns. Despite the importance of the thoughts, Jack eventually found himself drifting into a very light sleep, still ready to spring into action at a moments notice.
We are going to play a sniper and their spotter during World War Two. The Faction is up to you, as is who plays the sniper, and who plays the Spotter. The goal is simply to survive both the war, and each other. I would like for us to start out not knowing each other, and barely trusting one another, but have that change during the course of the RP. My character will all depend upon the faction, career(sniper/spotter), and personality of your character. World war 2 weaponry is to be used, and there WILL be both references to the Axis powers, and semi-detailed death scenes.(meaning don't join if that offends or bothers you.)

CS Template for applications:

List of common WWII weaponry, please use weapons common for the faction of your choice.
never mind, issues have arisen to prevent this from happening.
Jack, Castle Tepes

Jack was glad that his suggestion of him guarding the Eye was agreed upon, and nodded to Saber in a quick thanks. Unexpectedly, Queen Tepes thanked Jack for being so quick to volunteer, and offered him a special meal. He bowed graciously, and was quick to reply. "I am most humbled by your offer, Queen Tepes. Normally I would decline, but as you are royalty I must accept, as very few are given such a great honor. I must know if your servants are capable of preparing sushi. If not, I would be glad to instruct them." He bowed again, then stood patiently, his face donning a slight smile.
Jack, Castle Tepes

Jack noted that people seemed fine with his idea for him to guard the Eye directly. When the Queen mentioned that the Shadow Eternity may take hours or even days to show up, he nodded curtly in response, then said. "I require no bedding or chambers, merely a floor to sit and rest upon. If I am trusted enough, I would take my rest in the chamber directly outside the Eye, if only to ensure the Eye remains under careful guard." He looked among the faces of those assembled, and smiled slightly. This would be an easy mission, no doubt thanks to the skill of those present. However, it would do Jack no good to let his guard down, so he stifled those thoughts, and waited for a reply.

Captain Stirling watched as the weapons fired from the Convergence of Destiny blew apart the bridge and engines of the makeshift rebel frigate, shuddering slightly as one of their few missiles hit a deck that seemed to have been near a vital system. Stirling keyed the Comm for engineering and said "Stirling to Engineering, make sure that missile hit we took didn't damage anything vital. If it did, I want a team working on it ASAP. Stirling out." By about 10 minutes in, the rebel ship was dead in the water, unable to do anything of importance. "Good work, everybody. Helm, bring us around to a position near the rest of the UESA fleet. Alice, contact Fleet Admiral Davis, ask him which target he would like us to begin firing upon, then work with Weapons to target the vessel. I need to speak with Blackburn." He lit another cigar, took a puff, then keyed in Chief Warrant Officer Blackburn's private Comms channel. "Blackburn, I have orders. I need you to get a team to the capital building of New Portland, where the UESA forces have established command. From there you'll meet up with Warrant Officer O’Hennessey as your command squad for this mission."

@Austronaut@TheRealCrow@Warrior in the Shadows@FPR

Jason had landed on the planet in a smaller-than-average dropship the UESA used for officer transport. He was in the transport compartment with the most of the rest of the command staff, just before they got ready to land. When they touched ground, Blackburn was the first one out. He cleared the area for the rest, and led them into a building to set up Comms channels with the various squads. Jason got the message from the captain at that point "Roger that, sir. I'll contact O'Hennessey, and send him and his squad the co-ordinates for the Capitol Building. Warrant Officer Blackburn, out." He then keyed in the Comm for O'Hennessey's squad, and spoke up. "Warrant Officer O'Hennessey and Squad, this is Chief Warrant Officer Blackburn, head of the ground forces for the Convergence of Destiny. Captain Stirling has given me orders to meet with your squad at the Capitol Building, and join you as my command squad for this operation. I'm sending co-ordinates for the Capitol Building to each of you on your HUDs, and will establish further orders there. Be warned, there is enemy contact between you and the objective, looks like a fortified building. So stay safe, and I'll see you at the HQ in the Capitol Building. Blackburn Out." He keyed off the Comm, shouldered his rifle, and set out for the Capitol Building.

Most of the trip was uneventful for Blackburn, with few enemy contacts. He did manage to take out a pickup truck that had a light machine gun mounted on it, with some well placed shots to the driver and gunner. Eventually, he got the the HQ, and checked in. The rest was a rather dull wait for O'Hennessey's squad.

UESA Intelligence Officer Johann Weiss was aboard the Convergence of Destiny when the battle broke out. Only the Captain and a select few back at Orpheus IV knew he was there, as he was not listed in any of the crew or passenger logs, and no one had had any contact with him. He had secretly made his way to the launch bay, and boarded a ship that looked enough like a fighter to be mistaken for one. It was actually a UESA Intelligence craft, designed with the best in stealth technology. He boarded it, and took off with the rest of the fighters. He followed a dropship into the planet's atmosphere, acting like one of the guard fighters. When the dropship landed, he took off for the research center in the same part of the City as the Capitol Building. He landed where the HQ wouldn't see him, and rushed to the research building. He sneaked in, and quickly located the room he needed. He found an intact computer, already open on the exact file he came for. He set up his personal data holder, and began to transfer the file, and all data related to it. It would take a while, so he hoped to God no rebel managed to get to the building before he left.
@Austronaut@ElitestpotatoI've already got some ideas for a Naval scene, and I'm working on a post now.
@Warrior in the Shadows Different universe, we're just borrowing the US ranks.
My Marine Command Character

Name: Jason Blackburn

Age: 37

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Position: Marine, Chief Warrant Officer 5

Personality: Jason tends to be very friendly and easy to get along with generally, but shifts to a much more serious personality when taking command. He is very careful to make sure that if he spends the lives of his troops, he does so for a legitimate tactical reason, and not some "ideological assault." He takes an insult to either the Marine Corps, or anyone in it, as an insult to his personal being, and will quickly react accordingly.

Notable Skills, Combat or otherwise: He is trained in field command, squad, platoon, and battalion tactics, a skilled marksman, machine gunner, sniper, and grenadier, basic combat medicine, and a damn fine cook. He is also certified to drive the main combat jeep, MBT, and standard dropship. His personal armament preference is with a standard assault rifle and sidearm, with a few grenades on hand just in case. He takes a "lead from the front" approach to command, which has gotten him reprimanded for risk-taking more than a few times.

History: Jason grew up in the region of the former UK, in Weymouth. He was always a leader among his friends, getting them both into and out of trouble with his plans. He admired the soldiers of the UESA growing up as a child, and always dreamed of being one. This is why he enlisted as soon as he had the chance. He proved to be an exceptionally skilled soldier, and quickly gained experience to back that up. As he climbed through the ranks, he quickly showed that he was perfect for a command position, which is where he ended up. After commanding several ground engagements against rebel forces, he was assigned to the Convergence of Destiny, as the head of all ground forces aboard the vessel, and receives his orders directly from the captain, or Alice in a pinch.
If everyone's fine with me running both, I was going to make a Marine command character for the Convergence of Destiny's marines, just so you all aren't completely lost as to what you should react to on the ground
