"Not very well, but learning how shouldn't be any more difficult than learning to ride a stubborn horse," Bishop replied, wondering how fast he could learn something like that. He convinced himself that it was possible to, at least, become adept at riding a broom in a week if he really put his mind to it. Bishop smiled again, already excited for his upcoming birthday, which was a bit of a first for him.

Bishop's smile grew with Karen's and he sat correctly in the chair, now facing her.

"It should be sometime next week, I'll have to give you an invitation. Oh this will be great, although I'm not quite sure what we would do. I guess I'll have to figure it out as we go," he spoke excitedly as he thought of the things that they would do at his party, if he had one that is. Veil let out a small squeak at the sudden shift of Bishop, but went back to nuzzling herself into the seats.

"What do you like to do?"
"Yes, I guess I did," Bishop's smile lessened, but didn't fade completely. He pressed himself onto the window, enjoying the cold radiating from it. Veil, on the other hand, wasn't much of a fan of the cold months, so she went back to exploring the seats. Bishop scrunched himself into his seat and kept his attention on Karen, but kept track of Veil's white fur in the corner of his brown eye.
"If you do want to come, you don't need to bring a gift or anything if you don't want, you being there would be more than enough for me."

"Or maybe we could drop the subject completely, I don't know what I'm saying," Bishop refrained from throwing his hands in the air, since Veil was on his shoulder.

"On a happier note, my birthday is in a week," he said with a slight smile. Bishop stretched his legs out again, trying not to be too depressing. "I'm hoping that this year I'll finally have someone to celebrate it with, although I'm not sure if I can make a good enough friend in a week. Maybe... you'd like to come?" Bishop asked, hope filling his mismatched eyes.

I had to look up the discovery date of the Mariana Trench to make sure that Bishop didn't seem like some crazy person talking about nonexistent things. The things I do for this rp. xD
"Well, since my self esteem is lower than the Mariana Trench, I like to think that everyone else is above me," Bishop frowned at Veil and moved his legs closer to his body, careful not to crush the tiny blob of fur. "But if I was someone else, I'd say that anyone I feel that is a lesser human being than me is below me. I believe it to be a matter of opinion, and now that I think about it some, being forced to live with someone you would never get along with would be terrible. But, there are worse things than being hated."

Bishop misunderstands a lot of things x.x
Sounds fun, I'd love to join.
Bishop picked up Veil in his hands and smiled as he watched her nose take in the air of the car.

"I suppose I can understand that. You seem like the kind of person that would die inside if they were stuck with someone below yourself," he spoke, his attitude slightly changing towards Karen. Bishop set Veil down and pet her head with his pointer finger.

"It would be dreadful to be stuck with hundreds of people who you could never truly like."
