Yeah, mess around with the first idea and get back to me. I wanna stay away from power boosters for the time being.

I cant seem to find a character sheet though, and yeah, will go with first idea for the time being.
Are we allowed to have spinxs in our empire? or are they more an NPC guardian race. Im thinking of making a civilization that involves them.

If not, I will play some kind of horrifying abhuman fish people who want to ground people up into fertilizer for some kind of flesh forest. Because they believe humanity doing so would make the world a happier place.

Solid ideas. For the PMC trooper - he'd have to work for Adelon, of course, but he'd get plenty of chances to be used in the coming conflict. Viral Hitler, on the other hand, would be tricky. If a vaccine was developed, and assuming everyone involved with Arkos has gotten it, she'd be pretty much useless. If they weren't vaccinated however, it depends - could she directly control people who are infected?

EDIT: That last one's an interesting idea as well. But power boosting is something I want to try to avoid on a major scale, so we'd have to discuss it.

Yeah the viral hitler one could be tricky, and while she might be able to create a virus that chemically influenced peoples minds, she would probably not be able to control them. Perhaps rather than a typical vaccine they figured out how the viruses transmitted the information and recieved instructions from the villain and found a way to shut down the whole "viral network" Perhaps before her viral manipulation was shut down she used her viruses to alter her form into some kind of beast which no longer has the power to do the viral thing, but is still fairly dangerous. Perhaps this beast is unfinished so she is slowly dying.

As for the last one, I was thinking that the power boosting would revolve around broadening the scope of powers rather than giving them more raw power, how that would work would depend on the type of power. For example someone who could usually manipulate only water might be able to manipulate liquids in general. This all comes with the downside of being in a transcendental state in which the ego ceases to be and a breaking down the boundaries of the mind, Its kinda like a strong acid trip. What exists inside the mind and outside the mind blur etc etc

Ultimately, The first idea might be the simplest to implement.
I might be interested in joining, considering either playing as:

A heroic PMC who used to fight to save the world against some of the most powerful superhumans, but the decisions he had to make haunt him forever.

A Super villain who's powers have been mostly neutralized, she had the power to spread a virus that was under her control and read the minds of people who had the infection. she claims she "Solved China's Population Problem" and is thus under trial for crimes against humanity and the verdict is almost unanimously "Guilty as hell" Luckily Scientists developed a vaccine, so she cant really use her powers as much any more. Science 1/Viral Hitler 0

If that character would most likely be executed, then perhaps I could play as a superhuman that causes all who look upon her to enter a transcendental mental state in which the ego is lost (until they leave the area) this state also boosts powers a little bit.
As for culture, can I have a bit of Indian influence? also around what year is it? Also, what are the limits on ethnicity and stuff?
As for races, would a human without a soul (perhaps called a "Hollow") be acceptable, will try to keep it from being edgy.

Wait nevermind roleplay is full >_<
@Lucidnonsense

Do you think you could take a double look at your names and change them? I can probably see them working for the South-East Asian aesthetic I'd like to see, but it might be a bit of a stretch. As well, I'd like to see more history given to them, this is supposed to be an advanced-level RP but I can't tell if you'll be able to commit with a single-paragraph background section. Surely you can add more.

Yeah I could, As for the names I thought we didnt have much in the way of cultural unity yet, but I could change them into something, and I can work on the history section.
Another concept is an order of monks who live in some kind of holy-land, they are technically heretical with esoteric mystical beliefs, but they seem to be blessed and stuff and are said to commune with angels. In truth they dont even necessarily believe in God and are just a bunch of occultists trying to figure out how magic works.
Soooo how long could I survive as a nation of heretics? Would everyone declare crusade against me at once? Perhaps I could play some kind of heretical religious order hiding in the shadows rather than a single nation.
Also what would be the closest equivelent of Kabbalah in this setting? or should I just make up an occult belief myself.
