Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Cool, go ahead and do whatever you'd like to do during your shortrest. I'll be working on one more post before I head to bed.
"Well he noticed a few potions and such, but aside from those none of the items are enchanted I'm afraid." Ferric shrugs. The potions seemed to be an odd murky green, but Pylia confirms that they should work as intended. Though don't be surprised if it tastes strange. As for the other two, Pylia picked up the breastplate. It was somewhat big on her though, but Ferric offered to resize it for a price. As Pylia didn't have much money on her, she traded in her light crossbow as compensation, more than enough for Ferric to fit the armor. Shortfang took one of the light shields; unlike the shield Pylia has, these small shields could be strapped to the arm. Though it still made then unwieldy for two-weapon fighting or using a weapon with both hands, they were perfect for archers like Shortfang. He also helped himself to some of the scimitars in case he needed a backup weapon. Finally he took a bunch of the crossbow bolts, practically stuffing three quivers onto his bandolier. With the addition of another sword and his small shield Shortfang looked almost over capacity, but he was handling it just fine.

As for the journals, one was completely empty though it looked like a few pages had been torn out. Another journal mostly had rather artful doodles of natural scenes or animals. Perhaps one of the brigands had an artful side to them. Or they robbed an artist in the past. Both were valid possibilities. The last journal had scribbles of notes, crude hand drawn maps, and a list of objectives, most which were filled out. It mentioned a quota of goods and weapons as well as a meeting with "Rakeface on the morrow", whatever that meant.

After the final loot was sorted Ferric took out an abacus and made his calculations. He turned to the trio and started counting out some coins. "Well looks like you have in total about three-hundred and fifty sovereigns worth of loot. Once I get back to Gransys I'll be able to clean them up some more and make them ready for the market and make my profit double-fold. Now then, is there anything else I can do for you?" Pylia took the coin and counted it out herself, and sure enough it added up to 350. She took 100, then gave Shortfang 100, and finally handed 150 back to you. "Since we have some time, I'm going to brew up a few more potions. It looks like we're good for healing potions right now, so I'll work on some antitoxins in case we run into any poisons in there." Shortfang waddled around, weighed down by his gear, but still seemed pretty mobile. "Shortfang take nap. Still hurt from fight. Heal up!" The kobold looked to you and at your wound. "Boss patch up?"
"An excellent idea. Lead the way." As you lead the way, soon you'll run into Ferric and Andras. They seemed to be discussing some sort of deal that they just finished. "Ah Sylvia, Pylia, and Shortfang. I hope you've rested up. I've just made a deal with sir Andras here to trade his wagon and some produce for our cart. With a wagon we ought to be able to carry more cargo, not to mention more passengers. Andras and his family will have to wait here of course until a caravan with extra horses come by, but with any luck that shouldn't take him too long. I'll also be busy fixing the wagon up to make it ready for travel." Pylia looked over to you and nodded. "How convenient Ferric, Sylvia and I actually wanted to tell you we might be a bit busy as well. We've... Stumbled upon something interesting and thought to investigate it. Shouldn't take us too long. But before we go, we'd like to see the inventory from those brigands." Ferric nods. "Of course. Naturally as the ones who slew them, feel free to take what you want. I'll be more than willing to pay for anything you don't need and I'll turn it into a tidy profit in the near future." The dwarven man goes back to his cart and hauls out the crate with the loot. "Take your pick!"

"Mmm! Okay!" Shortfang nods enthusiastically before Pylia came over. "I overheard most of that conversation. Perhaps we should rest a while and tell Ferric we'll be going somewhere before we run into dank waterfall caves filled with unknown dangers? For courtesy sake at least." Pylia says with a slight smile. "Not to mention if we are going to be delving into danger, we should prepare ourselves. Perhaps there was some items among the brigands we defeated that could help us."
The boy took some of the fish, looking between you and Shortfang. He munched on it before he started talking. "I remember... The sound of water. A river, no, a water fall. It was scary at first. But when I went in I saw... Monsters. Scary monsters, and bats. A big strong monster with a big weapon. But then... He was here. I saw a green light and... And it felt like he was here to help. As long as I believed in him he'd help fight the monsters." That's when Shortfang chimed in. "When Shortfang get fish, he see waterfall up stream. Big and loud. Maybe there?" The young boy shrugged. "I also know that... Right now, he's hurt, because he fought the monsters. He needs... Something, in that cave, to become strong again. If he gets it he can help." Andrews made a shape in his hands though it was hard to describe. "He needs... His heart back."
Cool, go ahead and make a post when you can, I'll respond accordingly.
Go ahead and make a persuasion check with advantage as Shortfang helps with fish.
When you approach, Andrews shies away. He seemed scared of you but Elena gently put her hand on his shoulder. "It's okay Andrews. She helped us. She's a good person." Hearing this Andrews does look at you but still seems shocked. "I don't remember it very well..." He says quietly. "I remember seeing a man. I think he's a hero... I want him to be a hero." Elena hugs him tightly. This was when Shortfang came over and held out some fire grilled fish. "Boss make good food, but Shortfang knows tummy hungry! Eat eat, many fishes!"
“That’s.... Vague.” Pylia sighed. “Waiting to be awakened. I guess that at least means if we find this person or thing, there’s some way we can get it to do... Something. But that oracle didn’t exactly tell us anything important about how to do that. Or more importantly where.” Pylia looked over to Andrews and Elena. She leaned over to you and spoke quietly. “Maybe Andrews would know more. He had a Dream too. Maybe he saw something you didn’t.”
”Waiting to be awakened.”

The oracle wander seemed even more vague than the last few times they were used. It almost didn’t make sense. Pylia continued to look expectantly at you while Shortfang came over curious about that was going on. “Boss? What that?”
