Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Longstrider was actually not at Dragon’s Watch, having left last night after celebrations were over. Instead one of her bodyguards, the ones with the tonfas, was assigned as the captain to protect and watch over the place until she can sort out how to secure their homes. he would however pass along the message and keep some guards on watch over the crack in case anything happens. For now however he suggests leaving the crack alone until they figure out to either explore it or break through it.

The trip back up to the Silver Stag was largely uneventful aside from some sort of disturbance in the market place. It seemed like someone’s shop was robbed, with the doors kicked down and many of the products stolen. The guards simply told the merchant to go to the castle and file a report as they left the scene and the angry merchant. There was otherwise no obstruction as you arrived to the Silver Stag.

It was a busy morning with workers here to eat, but not so busy that you could find the hostess. The elven woman sees you with a polite smile and wave. “Good morning. Is there something I can help you with?”
Pylia nods, standing up and wiping her skirt down. "Works for me. Most of my stuff is back there anyways. We should also figure out what our indefinite living situation is going to be, at least for the short term. I don't mind staying at the Silver Stag, but maybe we could work out some sort of deal with the owners? One gold isn't that much considering our current and soon-to-be wealth, but I'd rather not have to worry about them taking out stuff out if something in our adventure keeps us from paying the daily rent."

Shortfang seemed to feel better now that he has a full belly, hopping to his feet and flexing his muscles. "Shortfang ready for anything! Get monies from Shor, buy shinies from Ferric! Shortfang need new crossbow, biggest crossbow!" He seemed to walk with a bit of a limp, but soon enough Shortfang's gait was back to normal after stretching and limbering up some more.

Buddy also wrote a note down to mention his thoughts. "If what Yorik and Pylia says is true we may need to investigate these cultists ourselves, at least while Shor is occupied. It won't be long before they realize the troglodytes did not take over the sewers and they may be covering their tracks as we speak." Buddy's handwriting seemed to notably improve as well. Before his writing was a bit scratchy as he wrote with haste, but now he could write very quickly and it looks like he wrote in the same sort of super formal style as he speaks, at least when you hear him in astral form.
Shortfang nods slowly, either to agree with you or to deal with his hangover. "Yeah... Trogs not smart. Not much magic. Red Stain not smart either, strong warrior, bad leader. Maybe cultist do it." He would slowly chew his pancakes as if the simply act of eating was painful for him. He seemed more than just hung over but rather sore and tired all over. He did come sleep rather later, about four hours or so after you bedded down and took on your astral form. "Well, I don't think we should wait here for him. From what Yorik told us last night, Shor is probably dealing with some political nonsense at the castle. I know for a fact that it will keep him occupied far longer than it has any right to. Maybe we'll run into him or some of his guards topside. If nothing else, we should go back and get our stuff from the Silver Stag if we're not renting the room for another day. Why don't we go visit Ferric? I'm sure his shop has been up and running by now. He knows Shor, and I'm sure that he can help settle a deal for us between our respective duties."
The sea goblin's bickering would ultimately be their downfall as their argument masked the sound of your approach. By the time one noticed you and your group approach, you were already close enough to strike them before they were ready to mount and offense. The ground was slick with water, nothing unusual for a seasoned pirate such as yourself, as you and your crew would spring their attack against the unprepared enemy.

As your party gathered, you can tell that Shortfang and Pylia we’re still hung over. Pylia had to concoct herself a disgusting brew and left to consume it while Shortfang just seemed tired and annoyed at the louder noises. Buddy would write you some notes as well saying that he’s starting to feel like he’s physically remembering something about his old life, which was why he was practicing outside. He definitely knows he was a warrior. As for the pancakes you would need some local ingredients which fortunately the kobolds would share freely with you, allowing you to make some simple pancakes for the party.

As you informed them about the crack in the wall Pylia spoke up. “Do you think we should wait for Shor or tell Yorik about it? I definitely know we need to let the kobolds know, since this is right inside of their walls. Last thing they’d want is for trogs or some other enemy to get past their defenses.” Shortfang rubbed his chin contemplatively hearing about the crack and where it could lead. “Maybe tunnel to sea? But it have to be big tunnel. And how tunnel get there? Then again... Fort wasn’t here either.”
There was an apple skewer on a nearby table that was thin enough to be put into the crack. That ought to help show where it was as well as maybe block anything coming in from the hole. Either way not much time had passed. About thirty minutes at most. In the distance inside of Dragon’s Watch you can see some smoke from huts setting up a breakfast fire. You’re pretty certain that there were no leftovers from the celebration, so chances are people are going to make new food. Seemed like the right time to start breakfast at any rate. You could hear Buddy’s heavy footsteps approach, leaning into the room and waving at you.
Without having to worry about trogs trying to eat you or being shot at by giant arrows, the keep itself wasn't nearly as big as the others made it out to be. It was mainly the one big wall, and even the keep itself was little more than a two-story stone building. Which granted, was pretty big underground, but you've seen subway tunnels that were roomier. It wouldn't take you very long for you to look around the area, trying to find things you missed out on before. Most notably, that big crack that you and the others came through in order to infiltrate into the keep. It looks like the kobolds were planning on repairing it at some point, as they've set up some wooden planks in front of it. And that itself gave you a clue of what to look for when you decide to check in the other wall. Inside here didn't look too different aside from the placement of tables, barrels, and bags, all filled with equipment needed to take care of currently broken balistas. But looking around the walls and you'd find what you were looking for; another crack in the wall. It wasn't easy to spot and harder to see into, but you could feel wind blowing through it. There was something beyond this wall and it led outside. At the moment you would lack the sheer force needed to break down the wall, but you know Buddy's good for that. Dinah, who was well awake at this point, also seemed curious about the crack in the wall, climbing up to peer into it while pawing at the crack.
An interesting idea. Roll a perception or investigation.
At some point at the night, Shortfang would've returned and went straight to bed without even taking off his gear. He seemed really tired since he came back so late. And before everyone else woke up, Buddy would've mentioned that he was going to go take a small walk around Dragon's Watch, just to see if everything is alright. Eventually you'd feel your body awakening before he'd return, and you'd be one of the first of your party members to wake up. Shortfang and Pylia were solidly out cold still, and it was difficult to say if they're sleeping in or if you're just waking up early. It doesn't sound like there was much going on outside, so it must still be early before any of the kobolds would've gone to work. Once you'd work out how you'd deal with Dinah who was sleeping on you, you would be free to do what you'd like for that morning.

If you went out of the keep to look around, you could tell from the nearby opening towards the ocean that it was indeed still rather early. The morning sun hasn't even started to rise though it was also a very clear day, as the moon and the stars provided just enough illumination that you could see clearly out into the ocean. There were only a few bonfires out now, and these were solely meant for illumination purposes rather than celebration. There were only a few kobolds, five or six from what you can see, who were on watch. The strangest thing you'd see would be Buddy in the keep's courtyard, armed with his axe and doing some motions. He seemed to be practicing.

There was still some time before people would wake up. Is there anything in particular you wanted to do?
This stuff was pretty strong. As you drank it, it was bitter but with a spicy sweetness to it that almost seemed pleasant. Than it hits you all at once. This stuff was way stronger than even Ferric's Breakfast Beer. For such small creatures these kobolds made a potent drink! You notice your steps seem a bit wobbly, but in this impaired state it's hard for you to tell with certainty if that's just what it looks like or if you really are swaying. No one else seems to notice at least. They were all focused on the food.

What would come to pass afterwards were peaceful merriment for the night. The kobolds ate well, and many take great pleasures with the caramel apples you made for them. Very few had even had fruit before (As the sewers aren't exactly the best place to store temperature sensitive foods) and sugar was almost entirely foreign to them. Many of the kobolds ask you about how you make them, most of them mothers with their children. At some point there was dancing and even a fashion contest of which you would get to judge. Sure enough the kobolds, when not wearing their day-to-day attire, actually had some quite elaborate embroideries. While many of their outfits had only one or two major colors, the details in the embroidery or stitching was topnotch. Not to mention many of their clothing weren't even made from fibers like silk or cotton, but hides from various beasts they've hunted in the sewers. There was even a Trog skin dress which you wouldn't even recognize as trog skin until it was mentioned. Before it was just a very nice looking outfit that seemed to have water resisting properties.

At the end of the night you would be give a place to sleep at Dragon's Watch in the old keep. The kobolds have done a pretty good job of cleaning the place of of all the blood, bodies, and the demonic ritual markings. It helps that there was a separate area for bunks and such too. Shortfang himself said that he would come in later, as he was hanging out with his mother and the other kobolds. A few of them who were part of the fashion show and very interested in him. Pylia herself got herself completely plastered on Mosswine and needed your help going anywhere. Super Drunk Pylia was also Super Loud Pylia, as she loudly started prophesying about the Defiance, similar to those religious weirdos back at the military camp. And while you weren't drunk when that happened you were still wobbly due to the Mosswine, so Buddy stayed nearby to help you. Dinah seemed to make friends with the kobolds too, playing games with all of the children and pranks on some of the more belligerent drunks. A clever kitten.
