Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Dinah stays as you ordered, however it doesn't seem like the men inside are in any mood for chatting any further. From the sounds it seems like it's just them. A few minutes would pass before finally one speaks up. "Bah! Waitin is boring. I'm going for a drink." Seemed like it was the one who was complaining about being hungry before. This left the lone voice alone to smoke in peace. It doesn't seem like there was much else that was going to happen unless you wait longer or make something happen.
Dinah did as you told, climbing up into the chimney and carefully using her claws to work her way down. As she went further down you could barely hear some voices through the other side. It sounded gruff.

"Oi. Ya pick up some sausage or what? All ya got here is more of that weed shit!"

"Shove off I told ya I wasn't doing your shoppin. Ain't my fault you spending all your money on bitches and whores."

"Fucking hell I'm starving. You crap bastards keep eating through everything in the larder! Fucking hells."

"Shuddup. Patches said someone's bout to drop off yesterday's pay round this time. You can stuff your fat face once the money comes round."

"The hell with that. Patches always stealin our money away for that 'investment plant' of his. Why can't he just do an even eight split? We each get a hundred gold each, don't see why he can't just spend his earnings on whatever it is he's doing instead of taking a cut from us."

"I don't know and I don't give a damn. You got some problem about it you bring it up to him. This shit's easier than tossing boxes all day for those dock bastards. Earned hundreds more this past month than I ever had working hard years."

The conversation ended there with one of the voices grumbling about watching over the dead drop. Dinah tried to climb a bit more down, however any further and she was liable to fall right into the room, something she knew she didn't want to do and awaited your orders on whether she should stay, climb up, or drop down.
You just managed to beat Dinah's own perception checks of 21/21. You'll notice a strange smell coming from the roof of the building. Smells like tobacco. Isn't this place suppose to be abandoned? Dinah is more than capable of getting to the rooftop on her own. Though it's twenty feet tall, she has a 30 ft climb speed and can get up there. You'll spot a chimney of sorts that has a faint wisp of smoke flowing out of it big enough to fit one of the familiars, but not both.
Your own, though Dinah will also be rolling herself.
The cat looked up at the owl who hooted again and flew off. Dinah followed after him, a little bit slower than the owl but she was able to easily avoid foot traffic by skirting the side, where everyone else was too big to get in her way. The two familiars would continue onwards alongside the docks until Syfr turned into an alleyway. In Dinah's eyes you could also see hanging from a single chain off the wall a sign with a barrel spilling some liquids out. This seemed to be the right place. Dinah followed Syfr into the alleyway as he sat on a barrel, unsure how to approach. There weren't really any openings big enough for the either of them, or at least nothing immediately obvious.

You saw yourself, sitting on the ground in front of you. Suddenly you'd see a paw move to your face and you licking it. That's when you'd realize that you were now inside of Dinah's body, though without any direct control. You were merely observing what she could observe. Regardless it seems like it worked though, you were inside of Dinah's body. You could hear Shortfang speaking but not through your own ears but Dinah's. It was an odd experience to say the least. "Okay boss, now just tell Dinah where go. Or follow Syfr. He make sure to stay close." The owl hooted to get Dinah's attention before flying up and over. Now you just needed to command Dinah to go and she'll follow. Your actions were limited to only giving her mental commands, but otherwise she seemed to follow your orders as well as she could.
Your familiar was sitting in front of you chewing on a bit of fatty meat that she somehow got. She tears a few bites into it before walking up to you and leaving it at your feet. "Aw, she got you food! Syfr never share food." Shortfang commented. Looking over at the alleyways he also sat down and began to do what you'd think is some sort of meditation. "Okay! Now for next trick. Close eyes and focus on familiar. This lets Boss see through familiar eyes, see what they see. Buddy and Pylia need to watch over Shortfang and boss, okay?" Pylia nods and Buddy gave a thumb's up. "Don't worry, we'll make sure to wake you up if anything happens over here. Just make sure that your familiars get out alive, alright?" Shortfang nods before he closes his eyes and begins to channel his mind through his familiar. "Boss, just gotta think like Dinah think. Be like cat, and you see with cat eyes. This way you see what she see's, and then you can talk to Dinah and see what Dinah see too."
Clearing out from the crowded Throaty Mermaid, your group would stand around a fairly empty dock. While you could still hear the hustle and bustle of the Throaty Mermaid, but not so much that you couldn't speak to your party. With a new location to investigate the group nods to your idea of sending the familiars to investigate. "Shortfang make Syfr keep watch. Dunno where Dinah, but good time to practice magic! Boss, call Dinah name with mind, and point near you. Then just snap, and there she is!" Shortfang demonstrated using Syfr, commanding him to fly off somewhere before he suddenly vanished even as you watched Syfr fly away. Then Shortfang just pointed towards a mooring and snapped his finger at it, causing Syfr to appear there. "Easy!"
As soon as you put the gold on the table, they vanished underneath the bartender's hands as he stood towards you filling up a glass underneath the counter. "So yeah might've noticed something queer. A pair of regulars, orc brothers named Banger and Mash, seems to have caught quite a windfall. Past few days they've been spending a lotta coin on my top shelf brands and buying em for the girls they bring in, always a new one every night. Don't know where they're getting this money but I doubt it's anything honest. Been seeing them loitering around the alley's bout north of here, next to the shutdown brewery. It's the building with the dirty looking sign that has a barrel spilling out booze. Wouldn't be surprised if that their new hang out or something." After passing that information along the bartender goes back to serving other customers, and his attention is quickly consumed dealing with the influx of drunken sailors throwing coin at him for drinks.
You can tell he’s annoyed because he’s busy, and that you’re asking questions without paying him the price of his time. You get the impression that he is used to people asking him things and he expects compensation for it, especially when it’s busy like this.
