Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

As Mamoru and Gromgard walked, she explained what she learned from her chat with the cultist. “These people worship some deity named Ditronus. It is not a name I’m familiar with, either confirming the Master’s words that we are indeed not in Yggdrasil, or at the very least this deity is so minor that his name is not well known. Additionally cultists seem to kidnap travelers to preform some sort of sacrificial ritual in the forest. As we can see they are no true threat to us, however as we will be utilizing the natural resources around us, it would be in our best interest to ensure this cult nuisance does not impede our progress. I would recommend seeking out any remaining cultist and putting them down permanently to ensure everyone’s safety.”

As they would walk Mamoru would periodically scan the area for natural resources. She was picking up various new herbs and ivies which may be processed into medicine or poisons, as well as signs of local animals. Nothing too exotic, but perhaps it would provide a bit of sport for the chateau’s hunters. There were also signs of creatures who Mamoru don’t recognize from her experience alongside her creator, so surely this information of new and exotic beasts would pique the chateau’s interest.

“The cult is quite wide spread despite their likely minor worship. The one I captured comes from a town called Gronbell, sixty miles southwest of here. While a short journey for us, it’s quite a journey for peasants such as these. Either he lives nearby or these rituals are not as common place as I suspect, but even so since we know nothing, anything is possible.” Once Mamoru explained what she knew the goblins wanted to paint a picture with Mamoru and Gromgard posing. Though the dark general related, Mamoru politely declined.

“I am honored, truly, but despite my station I am still but just a maid of the Chateau. Someone like me should not have portraits painted of her compared to the likes of Gromgard, who actually leads armies does battle outside of the comforts of home. Not to mention that while I do not mind if you should paint, we should still remain watchful. I shall keep an eye out for any dangers so that you may paint in peace.”
With some form of illumination the group would be able to more easily navigate the subway tunnels. Good thing too: this place was a mess. Broken rubble littered the floor, as well as relics of an older time. Boxes and machines long turned into useless crap blocked the path, but nothing that simple brute force or a bit of maneuvering couldn’t bypass. Before long, the group would come across the corpse of a lost.

A broken blade from a queen slayer sword impaled this lost through the chest, and someone made sure to decapitated it for good measure. How long this one rested here is unknown, but it likely wasn’t going to be much of a threat for a long while. That being said it also showed proof that there were lost in here despite how weak the miasma was. And indicator for what’s to come.

As the party would continue onwards the narrow tunnels opened up to a larger train station of sorts. It was still pitch black with no visible form of light or even an exit. A single thorn of judgement tore through the center of the station towards the only staircase leading upwards, effectively sealing this exit. More Lost corpses were scattered around the area, in various states of dead and mutilated. However there was one small speck of light in the darkness. Something small and glowing red, just outside the illumination from the chemical lights. It appears to be near some sort of wall though.
As the girls talked and walked, Delmina would open the door to the service closet. It was small; barely anything in here that she could see in the dim glow of her blood veil’s glow. She would, however, see an unopened closet. For a human the door was firmly shut but for a revenant all it’ll take is a firm pull to open the rusted lock doors. Not much else of use was inside however; there was a first aid kit who’s medicine have long expired, leaving only some gauze and bandages that may be of some minor use. There were a few well-worn tools as well, rusted from time and corrosion. However that was one box that would prove useful.

Though wet from condensation it was still taped close. Whatever text was printed on it’s surface was faded but inside were roughly twenty chemical lights, glow sticks. Some may vaguely remember seeing some of the other revenants use them in night operations: they only provided a scant glow, but they were long lasting and better than nothing. About five of them together and they’d make for a decent lantern. There were five green, five red, five white, and five yellow.
The elf who you took the earring from gave a very pained scream as he fell over bleeding. You didn't take much that it would warrant such loud shouting, but it was sudden and painful nonetheless. The other elves were shocked as they also witness you eating just a bit of the elf skin. Whatever snide comments they might've had was silenced upon this display, and even your men looked a bit uncomfortable, however they kept their weapons trained on the elves. Your men took the gold earrings off the elves with far less force as well as searched them. Only one had a bronze key with them, and with a firm question from Hector, the elf informed the group that the key was indeed to one of the metal chests, but only one of them. The other key was with the captain, who the wasn't among the group. Sure enough none of these elves looked particularly higher ranking than the other, though it doesn't help that it doesn't appear as though they were in uniform either.

Each of the elves had a bit of deadman's gold, a gold earring worth up to 25 GP each. They were of fancy elven design, making such a tiny piece of jewelry worth so much. It'll also ensure that these elves are given some proper burial should they die at sea, or at least did. If nothing else it showed that they knew people willing to pay a decent ransom for them. "Anything else captain? Usual rations of the bread bucket?" The bread bucket referred to the ship's prisoner plate, which was a small wooden bucket that would be filled with some relatively clean water and the older bread bits the other crewmen haven't eaten yet or only partially eaten. Usually this was saved to make a gruel, but it also doubled as prisoner food.
The pixie jumps, drawing the splinter and aiming it at you. From the way she holds her makeshift blade however, it was painfully obvious that this pixie was a novice with any form of sword. And even if she wasn't, a blade that small would only truly hurt you if she manages to stab you in the eye. "D-Don't get any closer! I'm just! I'm just-" As she spoke, you could hear faint rumblings from the pixie's stomach. Despite her small size, it was an audible noise. "Speak nothing of it! I am a mighty hunter, I can gather my own food! Sass me and I will show you my wrath!" She barked and shouted angrily, but her diminutive size, injured state, and rather notice stance made her look more like a fool than a threat. She knew this well as she collapsed on the floor in defeat. "Please kind miss, if you intend to capture me, at least do me the honor of offering me food. Even clean water would suffice... I've not been able to eat in days due to those nasty cats! Look at what they did to my wings! Those surly beasts! They should know better than to harm a mighty creature like me!"
Your night, oddly enough, goes without much disturbances. Even as you slip off into sleep, you do not enter your astral form as you typically did. When you'd finally awaken you'd only vaguely remember a dream, so obscure and enigmatic that even as you try to remember it details begin to slip away. You remember a darken room, perhaps the same place where you had learned the Satyr Stance from. You remember a fierce battle, but not against whom. By you hear the words choice echo in a deep baritone. Once more the context of the words were lost on you, but it was simply a memory.

As you'd finally rise and shine, the first thing you'd notice would be Shortfang eating at the table. Compared to his last meals this one was relatively tame, mainly being some sort of stew and bread. Pylia was still asleep and Buddy stood by the door as he often did. Dinah was eating from a small bowl on the floor that Shortfang had set out for her while Syfr was eating a dead rat he must've hunted down. Upon seeing you awaken Shortfang waves at you. "Hiya boss! Hungry?"
“Damn Silva and his damn levy! Mistles are drying up every damn day, and the Lost just keep growing bigger and bigger. Alright you thralls, you know what you’re here to do. Find Blood Beads and get back here. And don’t even think of trying to run off: those bombs on your chest will make sure you’ll turn to ash faster than you can pull the trigger. If you think you’ll be clever and take it off, go ahead and try: we don’t need stupid thralls who’ll sooner suicide than get work done. Alright, send the first group in!”

This was your life so far. For some of you, you just came to before you were suddenly forced to become thralls, slaves for Revenants, functionally immortal soldiers who only need feed off blood to survive. You’ve been given basic weapons and armor to help fend for yourself against the Lost, monsterous beings who won’t hesitate to kill you for no reason at all. In your short time as a captive you know your chances of escape are bleak. Your captors are no cowards and can easily defeat multiple revenants or Lost on their own, and they’re simply sending thralls in out of cruel convenience.

And if that alone wasn’t enough, your captors have managed to manufacture and strap explosives to your chest. Carefully shaped charges that will destroy your heart with a simple trigger pull, or if you try and take it off without the key. You’ve all seen first hand people who’ve tried, either by force or finesse. Even if you die and disperse, the bomb will still be on your chest. It was a bleak situation. But that was life in the vein.

A few minutes after the first group was sent into the ruins, guns would be aimed at you as your captors commanded your group to go. You’ll be exploring a vast underground subway station. A fresh location, scouts have reported that it has only recently opened up with a notably small miasma presence. That means that there is either Mistle or not a lot of Lost here, and either way that means opportunity for Thralls to go looking for Blood Beads.

Eventually your group is pushed through a gate into almost total darkness. The gate shuts behind you with a final warning that anyone who comes out that gate without blood beads will turn to ash. Additionally, you have about three hours. Anyone who doesn’t show up with Blood Beads after three hours will have their bombs remotely detonated. Truly cruel keepers. You don’t see any signs of the first group who went in before you, so they might’ve went through a different entrance. Either way the first thing you may want to address is the immediate lack of a light source.
Fair nuff yeah, holidays are always hellish. No rush.
Who are we waiting for now?
Some high quality shit we got here. Once Duth finishes his CS, I'll get us started properly.
